Hey ,,,
I have Dial up (slow) connection , and KIS(Kaspersky internet security) 2010 (For Windows 7) , I need offline databases to update KIS 2010 , Where Can I find that , a new databases ?!
Currently I don't have an Internet connection available on my cellphone and I would like to install some applications on it.
Is it possible?
Do I have to use the market?
I'm not searching for a software, because they can't do this I guess. Basically on the latest displays (and even on older ones) there is an auto-adjust if you use the DSUB connection. That's OK, but it varies which page I go, where I press it.
I'm searching for the best method to calibrate/adjust this.
Hi,
I want to make a ssl connection between Sun WebServer 7 and Weblogic application server.
My question is: Is is possible to mention a "trust" java keystore file in Sun java System web server 7 wl proxy configuration, where Trust keystore will contain public keys of all the Self-signed certificates used for back-end Weblogic application servers.
Thanks..!!
I've installed Windows 7 onto my Dell Inspiron 1420 (32-Bit). I don't have an internet connection at home, so I want to download drivers into my flash drive. I searched Dell website for drivers but didn't find anything exclusively for Windows 7. Can anyone direct me to the archive/repository where I could find drivers which suit my requirement.
On Linux, I can simply:
netstat -ntp | grep server_ip:port
And I get PID and process name of the program that is making given connection.
But how do I do it on Solaris?
Hi
In this scenario there is point -to point serial connection between R6 and R7 , there is router R10 whose interface F0/0 is having ip address of 10.1.1.2/24 and there is a host machine (R9) with ip address 10.1.1.1/24 which is running an application,
My problem is that Application on R9 will only work when it will get its Gateway as 10.1.1.1/24 which is of router (R10) , is there any way i can make R6 and R7 transparent for R9 and R10, Or any type of routing using GRE / Route-map or any other way.
Thanks in advace
I do not want to use any native Windows features, services, nor anything do to this.
It needs to be a standalone program, with ZERO Windows dependencies.
Just like TeamViewer does not use any native Windows features, so I want to be able to access files and folders in a standalone program.
No remote desktop
No VNC type programs
No Windows File Sharing
No Shared Folders in Windows
No internet connection required
It needs ability to view, edit, transfer files at normal network rates.
I need to open a specific port on my mac client (because when I try to connect from server it says "target machine actively refused it ").My problem though is I cannot find a way to add a specific port on my latest Mac OS.
I go to system pref-securtiy &privacy-firewall- turn it on (FWIW
connection didnt work when I had turned it off)-Firewall options-"+"
This gives me an option to add some application but not a port .Can someone point me to the right place to add the port?
I have a number of Windows 7 machines on an isolated development network. There is no internet access from this network.
Winodws 7 displays a yellow warning triangle on the network connection icon with a warning "No Internet Access".
Is there anyway to disable this warning - I know the internet is inaccessable and always will be.
I have remote Windows 2003 server with two network interfaces e.g. Cn1 and Cn2.
I need that all traffic goes through Cn1 except for one port (for me it's 3389, rdp for administration) that works over Cn2.
Currently when I setup all connections work through Cn1, I completely lose connection over Cn2 - and can't connect to server via RDP over Cn2. Now I used static routing based on my ip address (which can changed - so it's bad).
Is it possible to use Windows remote desktop connection to connect to a Windows XP machine with a user already logged in and just view that users screen without logging them off?
Hi,
My ISP throttles certain types of traffic. To get round this issue I thought about getting myself a VPN connection. Is it possible with the IPTABLES to forward all traffic outbound on port 119 (for example) to my vpn interface pptp0?
Thanks
I have a microphone with all the software set up correctly, but there is a loose connection somewhere. I'd like some software to give me instant feedback on whether the computer is picking up the sound of my voice so that I can wiggle some wires and work out where the fault is. Any suggestions?
I can't directly RDP to remote hosts, instead, I have to RDP to a terminal server and RDP from there to the destination. Is there client/tools that can relay my connection from local and pass through the terminal to the destination? Thanks.
Hello,
I am trying to search for a book that would teach me how to choose web server HW requirements (hard disk space/technology, ram, internet connection) based on web site statistics (requests per second, etc...), how to scale webservers in case my website is getter higher traffic, etc
All I get from the internet is software-related articles. Does anyone know how I can dig in for this kind of information? May be I am just searching using the wrong keywords.
Thanks
When I try to connect my Windows PC with telnet, its giving me following error.

This would be in OS X 10.6...
I know I can connect a server share as a volume and do so via a script so every time I boot up it gets mapped.
How can I make sure that same share is mapped after my computer comes out of sleep mode? It seems like the connection gets dropped. Can the same process map the drive for me when I boot up?
I know how to view the VPN sessions currently logged in and how long that connection has been on but I want to be able to view a history of these activities over long periods of time. I don't think I need employee monitoring software...I just want to see who has VPNed overnight.
We are using Windows 2003. Any help is appreciated.
Does level 3 Communications offer any type of map of current network status?
It seems our connection here is getting high latency through their network.
Also what is the experience asking them questions about if one of their appliances is malfunctioning or being overloaded because you are receiving bad latency in their network?
I have recently set up a Linux server for my college which also hosts the college website and other downloadables. This server is linked to outside world using a leased line connection of 1mbps capacity.
My problem is that the users complain that the downloads from the server are very slow, how can I imporve this?
What things should I be looking at.
My current server config:
Dell vostro260s with 4Gb of ram and i3 processor.

We are switching from a SQL cluster to a mirrored solution. The problem is that we have a bunch of programs that would have to switch connection strings to handle the failover. Is there any way the we can set up a redirect or proxy that would take any legacy requests and forward them to the mirrored solution?
