I got everything to work and it is deserialized perfectly (almost). The problem I have is with the random text mixed throughout the child nodes. The generated verse-unit objects gives me a list of objects (begin-line, begin-block-indent, etc), and also another list of string objects that represent the bits of string throughout the xml. I need the random text that is NOT surrounded by an xml node to be represented by an object so I know the order that everything is in. I need to no where the random text is within the child nodes.

  I'm having a small issue when I'm compiling a template with Handlebars.js . I have a JSON text file which contains an big array with objects : Source ; and I'm using XMLHTTPRequest to get it and then parse it so I can use it when compiling the template. So what am I doing wrong that it makes the same number repeat ? Or what should I do to fix it ? I must notice that I've just started working with templates so I have little knowledge it.

How can I avoid having to change the version number every time I compile this? Can I specify the extension in code somewhere?

• Navigation (controller) in Tabbar (c) in Navigation (c) (iphone)

  I want to have a TabBar controller inside a navigation controller. So that when an item is selected on the first Navigation Controller it pushes the TabBar into view. Inside this tabbar on the first tab is another navigation controller. However I only want one navigation bar. I've come up with 2 ways but not sure which way is better (Ie more acceptable etc)? 1) The first navigation controller isn't actually a navigation controller but to the user it looks like one. So when a cell is selected on it's table view the first navC's view is removed from the superview and the TabBarC's view is added, animation would have to be done manually. 2)The first NavC is actually a NavC and when an item is selected and the TabBar is pushed on to the screen the first NavC's navigationbar is hidden so that the first tab's navigationBar is the only nav bar on screen.

Now what I want to do is do some processing on the JSON objects given to the webservice and return a JSON array of the same type of objects(same field names and such) How would I do this easily? I am using Netwonsoft.Json. Is there some way to turn a JSON string into a List or Array of an object?

• Is this the correct way of speaking to a "Content Manager" Class?

  I am creating a silverlight site. I am currently breaking out my ideas into pieces of functionality. One of the idea's I have is the concept of a content manager. This is essentially a UI control with 4 regions. Top, Bottom, Right & Left. I also have a collection of objects that are considered "Menu Items". These are controls that function as a way to navigate around, similar to links. The idea I have is to implement an IMenuItem interface. Among the standard pieces of information (Text, PageReference, etc) I was also going to hold a reference to the content manager. My idea behind this thinking is that I can pass the PageReference to a property on the ContentManager and then call a method which knows how to update the content manager accordingly. Is this the best way of implementing this or is their some sort of pattern for it?

  Here, I have an abstract class: abstract class A<E extends A> { abstract void foo(E x); } Here's a class that extends A: class B extends A<B>{ void foo(B x){} } And here's another (E is B here on purpose): class C extends A<B>{ void foo(B x){} } Both of those classes are valid, and the reasoning for that makes sense to me. However what confuses me is how this could possibly be valid: class D extends A{ void foo(A x){} } Since when are generics optional like that? I thought the extending class (subclass) of A would be required to specify an E?

Avg of first five pixels of first source row will give first pixel of dest, And avg of first two pixels of first source column will give first dest column pixel. Currently what I do is first scale down in X resolution, and after that I scale down in Y resolution. I need one temp buffer in this method. Is there any optimized method that you know?

  I have a question regarding setting up a custom delegate class for use with UITableView. What I have done is as follows: Setup a new class (in sperate *.h and *.m files for the class) Conformed that new class to the <UITableViewDelegate, UITableViewDataSource> protocols Added the required methods. Created a pointer to the new object using @property and IBOutlet. In InterfaceBuilder created and assigned an object template to my new class Assigned the dataSource and delegate connections. This all works fine. My question is if I don't want to use interfaceBuilder to setup and instantiate my new delegate class directly in Xcode how do I go about doing that? More specifically how would I: Instantiate the delegate class, would that be created / owned by the controller? Set the dataSource and delegate connections? What is the best way of doing this? any help / information is much appreciated. Gary

  Hi, I've just upgrade my web application from vs2008 to vs2010, I create a new web app from vs2010, then copy across all the existing files from vs2008, then I add a new class file to App_Code folder, the intellisense is not showing up for everything and class etc is also not color in the right color. However, when I open the existing class I created earlier from vs2008, intellisense just working fine and all classes are in different color as well, if I make a copy of existing class, the copied class does not support the intellisense as well. However, if I shut my VS, and reopen it, they all appear to be support with intellisense for existing class, but once I created a new class, intellisense is not support. Can you tell me what's wrong here? Thanks

  I'm attempting to compile Java 1.4 code that was created by IBM's WSDL2Java on Java5 without recreating the stubs and saw this error in Eclipse. I'm under the assumption that the stubs created should just compile as long as the runtime jars are available (they are). Access restriction: The type QName is not accessible due to restriction on required library C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_16\jre\lib\rt.jar The full classname is javax.xml.namespace.QName What exactly is going on here? Is this a case where I am trying to refactor a pig from sausage? Am I better off recreating the stubs?

Even if I put a Thread.sleep(5000) at the resource that's handling the request, the entire sleep is performed, like the timeout did nothing. Anyone have experience with this? I'm using Restlet 1.1.1.   Say I define an abstract My::Object and concrete role implementations My::Object::TypeA and My::Object::TypeB. For maintainability reasons, I'd like to not have a hardcoded table that looks at the object type and applies roles. As a DWIMmy example, I'm looking for something along these lines in My::Object: has => 'id' (isa => 'Str', required => 1); sub BUILD { my $self = shift; my $type = $self->lookup_type(); ## Returns 'TypeB' {"My::Object::$type"}->meta->apply($self); } Letting me get a My::Object with My::Object::TypeB role applied by doing the following: my $obj = My::Object(id = 'foo') Is this going to do what I want or am I on the entirely wrong track? Edit: I simplified this too much; I don't want to have to know the type when I instantiate the object, I want the object to determine its type and apply the correct role's methods appropriately. I've edited my question to make this clearer.

  I have created a new VCL component based on an existing VCL component. What I want to do now is set the Password and Username properties from an ini file instead of the property inspector. Robert Dunn Link I read on the delphi forum above you cannot unpublish a property and that the only workaround is to redeclare the property as read-only. I tried this but it all it does is make the property read only and grayed out in the object inspector. I want to implement it as c# extension methods but stuck on how to generate dynamic proxy for static methods.
