    I have 50 svg animations named animation0, animation1, animation2 etc. and I want to load them when the integer 0 to 49 is passed to this function: function loadAnimation(value){ var whichswiffy = "animation" + value; var stage = new swiffy.Stage(document.getElementById('swiffycontainer'), whichswiffy); stage.start(); } It doesn't work at the moment, maybe it's passing 'whichswiffy' rather than 'animation10'?     Hello, I am wondering if there's an elegant solution for doing this in Java (besides the obvious one - of declaring a different/explicit function. Here is the code: private static HashMap<String, Integer> nameStringIndexMap = new HashMap<String, Integer>(); private static HashMap<Buffer, Integer> nameBufferIndexMap = new HashMap<Buffer, Integer>(); // and a function private static String newName(Object object, HashMap<Object, Integer> nameIndexMap){ .... } The problem is that I cannot pass nameStringIndexMap or nameBufferIndexMap parameters to the function. I don't have an idea about a more elegant solution beside doing another function which explicitly wants a HashMap<String, Integer> or HashMap<Buffer, Integer> parameter.   • DbMetal chokes on repeated foreign key references in SQLite - any ideas?

    I've been struggling to get DbMetal to process my SQLite database. I finally isolated the problem. It won't allow a table to have two foreign key references to the same column. For example, a SQLite database with these two tables will fail: CREATE TABLE Person ( Id INTEGER PRIMARY KEY, Name TEXT NOT NULL ); CREATE TABLE Match ( Id INTEGER PRIMARY KEY, WinnerPersonId INTEGER NOT NULL REFERENCES Person(Id), LoserPersonId INTEGER NOT NULL REFERENCES Person(Id) ); I get this error: DbMetal: Sequence contains more than one matching element If I get rid of the second foreign key reference, no error occurs. So, this works: CREATE TABLE Match ( Id INTEGER PRIMARY KEY, WinnerPersonId INTEGER NOT NULL REFERENCES Person(Id), LoserPersonId INTEGER NOT NULL ); But I really need both "person" columns to reference the person table. I submitted a bug report for this, but I could use a workaround in the meantime. Any ideas?

    In the process of doing some reflection on Java types, I came across an oddity that I do not understand. Inspecting int for its modifiers returns public, abstract, and final. I understand public and final, but the presence of abstract on a primitive type is non-obvious to me. Why is this the case?   • is it safe to refactor my django models?

    My model is similar to this. Is this ok or should I make the common base class abstract? What are the differcenes between this or makeing it abstract and not having an extra table?   • jQuery DataTables server side processing and ASP.Net

    I'm trying to use the server side functionality of the jQuery Datatables plugin with ASP.Net. The ajax request is returning valid JSON, but nothing is showing up in the table. I originally had problems with the data I was sending in the ajax request. I was getting a "Invalid JSON primative" error. I discovered that the data needs to be in a string instead of JSON serialized, as described in this post: http://encosia.com/2008/06/05/3-mistakes-to-avoid-when-using-jquery-with-aspnet-ajax/. I wasn't quite sure how to fix that, so I tried adding this in the ajax request: "data": "{'sEcho': '" + aoData.sEcho + "'}" If the aboves eventually works I'll add the other parameters later. Right now I'm just trying to get something to show up in my table. The returning JSON looks ok and validates, but the sEcho in the post is undefined, and I think thats why no data is being loaded into the table. So, what am I doing wrong? Am I even on the right track or am I being stupid? Does anyone ran into this before or have any suggestions?
