• Postgres serialization error without serializable transactions.

  I got this error: ERROR: could not serialize access due to concurrent update But I'm not using serializable transaction isolation. Is that possible without setting the default isolation level to serializable? The postgres docs only mention it for serializable transactions.

  In many scheme/lisp dialects, when an error occurs, a "recursive repl" is popped up ... one can execute scheme/lisp code at the frame where the error occured, and go up/down the stack. Is it possible to do something similar to this in lua? Thanks!

  I'm atempting to learn xerces-c and was following this tutorial online. http://www.yolinux.com/TUTORIALS/XML-Xerces-C.html I was able to get the tutorial to compile and run through a memory checker (valgrind) with no problems however when I made alterations to the program slightly, the memory checker returned some potential leak bytes.   I made JNI functions and linked them with the c++ dynamic library successfully. I got all of them working just fine, but I had an issue for one function, I got symbol lookup error from the FileHandle class that I used in the c++ that I use to read data from file.
