  • delphi 7 SOAP application stop compiling

    Hello there, I don't know why, but a SOAP Server application and a pair of clients of this services stop compiling without any know causes for me. I have installed delphi 2007 and delphi 2009 and I don't know if the cause can come from this. Now when I compile a soap application I get an error like: 'Unit XMLSchema was compiled with a different version of XMLDOM.SHttp' Someone known the cause?

  • Avoid compiling when using Decimal.Round() method (C#/CF)

    Is there a way to tell to VS2005 to get compiler error when using "some defined" method? It probably sounds strange, but I do not want to compile when using Decimal.Round(). Reason: CF does not round by "awayfromzero", so I created a method to do this job. But sometimes I (and team) forget that is not to use Decimal.Round. So I'd like to get a compiler error when using it.

    Hello, Visual Studio C++ 2008 I have downloaded a sample project. I converted the project from VS 7 to VS 9. However, when I compile I get this error: c1xx : fatal error C1083: Cannot open source file: 'WIN32': No such file or directory Under project properties preprocessor definitions.     Hi, I'm using hessian protocol for communication betwee server (java) and various client applications. Now I started to develop Windows Phone 7 client. I downloaded hessian C# implementation but it does not compile for windows phone 7/silverlight. Does anyone managed to make it work on WP7/Silverlight? It's looks like there is many thing to be done/changed to make it work, which I'd like to avoid if it has been done by someone already. Thanks.

  • Enthought Python, Sage, or others (in Unix clusters)

    I am currently get access to a cluster of Unix machines, but they don't have the software I need (numpy, scipy, matplotlib, etc), and I have to install them by myself (I don't have the root permission, either, so commands like apt-get or yast doesn't work). In the worst case, I have to compile them all from source. Is there any better way to do so? I hear something about Enthought Python and Sage, but not sure what is the best way to do so. Any suggestion?

    Hello, I am using VS 2008 and .Net Framework 3.5 when i compile project i m getting error Compiler executable file csc.exe cannot be found. I have checked that csc.exe is also exist in the .net frame work folder. When i change compiler version 3.5 to 2.0 it starts working but My 3.5 Features are not available there like LINQ. I have try everything, Update .Net Framework, Install latest service Pack. Please help me out this Problem.

    I'm trying to compile ARCCC (https://sourceforge.net/projects/arccc/) on Ubuntu 9.10, but I'm getting the make error "glib.h: No such file or directory", and the autoconfig script reports that Glib isn't installed. However, I have the libglib2.0-dev package installed, which appears to provide all the glib headers. Is there something missing/wrong with the Ubuntu package, or the Autoconf script incorrect?

  • Save object states in .data or attr - Performance vs CSS?

    In response to my answer yesterday about rotating an Image, Jamund told me to use .data() instead of .attr() First I thought that he is right, but then I thought about a bigger context... Is it always better to use .data() instead of .attr()? I looked in some other posts like what-is-better-data-or-attr or jquery-data-vs-attrdata The answers were not satisfactory for me... So I moved on and edited the example by adding CSS. I thought it might be useful to make a different Style on each image if it rotates. My style was the following: .rp[data-rotate="0"] { border:10px solid #FF0000; } .rp[data-rotate="90"] { border:10px solid #00FF00; } .rp[data-rotate="180"] { border:10px solid #0000FF; } .rp[data-rotate="270"] { border:10px solid #00FF00; } Because design and coding are often separated, it could be a nice feature to handle this in CSS instead of adding this functionality into JavaScript. Also in my case the data-rotate is like a special state which the image currently has. So in my opinion it make sense to represent it within the DOM. I also thought this could be a case where it is much better to save with .attr() then with .data(). Never mentioned before in one of the posts I read. But then i thought about performance. Which function is faster? This is an argument for .data() I thought. Because performance is always an argument! Then I wanted to post my results here with some questions, and in the act of writing I compared with the questions Stack Overflow showed me (similar titles) And true enough, there was one interesting post about performance I read it and run their example. And now I am confused! This test showed that .data() is slower then .attr() !?!! Why is that so? First I thought it is because of a different jQuery library so I edited it and saved the new one. But the result wasn't changing... So now my questions to you: Why are there some differences in the performance in these two examples? Would you prefer to use data- HTML5 attributes instead of data, if it represents a state? Although it wouldn't be needed at the time of coding? Why - Why not? Now depending on the performance: Would performance be an argument for you using .attr() instead of data, if it shows that .attr() is better? Although data is meant to be used for .data()? UPDATE 1: I did see that without overhead .data() is much faster. Misinterpreted the data :) But I'm more interested in my second question. :) Would you prefer to use data- HTML5 attributes instead of data, if it represents a state? Are there some other reasons you can think of, to use .attr() and not .data()? e.g. interoperability? because .data() is jquery style and HTML Attributes can be read by all...     So I've been looking at code from various parts of the Android git, but when I try to load and compile many of them (camera, media player, etc) they reference classes and parts of the SDK that just aren't available even with my SDK version updated to 2.2. (for example the bitmap config option inNativeAlloc) Is there a reason that these are not in the SDK given out to developers?

  • Error using a hyphen as an object property name in Flex

    I'm trying to assemble a header object for an api request. One of the headers is 'Content-Type'. The hyphen is causing a compile error. Flex is giving me: 1050 - Cannot assign to a non-reference value. I find it spiteful that they enjoy the use of a hyphen in the error message while I hang my head and come here for answers.
