    I have two tables. Users table and Users Meta Table I am looking for a way to get all the information out of both tables with one query. But without repeating the information from Users table. This is all information relating to the users id number as well. So for example user_id = 1. Is there a way to query the database and collect all the information I from both tables without repeating the information from the first?

    Hi, I am aware that this is not a direct 'development' question but I need that info to test a development project, so I think someone could've hit similar problem. I will test a software that runs a TCP server and according to sent commands replies some answers. I will test the software and do not want to write code if it doesn't work well. So I want to send those commands and test drive the server software. How can I achieve this with a Linux box?

    I'm working with big blobs of JSON. These blobs change slightly over time and a revision history is kept. I'd really like to be able to do a visual diff on them, but my problem is they're being stored without any formatting at all - everything is on one line, so that makes it a little hard to see what changed.     I have a multi-dimensional array that looks like this: The base array is indexed based on category ids from my catalog. $categories[category_id] Each base array has two underlying elements: ['parent_category_id'] ['sort_order'] I want to create a function that allows us to create a list of categories for a given parent_category_id in the correct sort order. Is this possible? Technically it is the same information, but the array is constructed in a weird way to extract that information.

  • MS Access Form - Horizontal Anchor Affecting Data Update

    Running Access 2007 with a databound form. The form Record Source is set to a query, and all fields in the form have a defined Control Source; nothing fancy, just field names. The form is a Single form with record navigation buttons which perform a "Next Record" and "Previous Record" actions. As I navigate the records the controls in the header update correctly. However, if I change a control Horizontal Anchor property to "Right" the fields no longer update on record navigation. This is observed for both text box and combo box controls. I can switch the anchoring back to "Left" and the updating works as it should. Is there some reason anchoring would affect a control updating of in an Access form? Or is this a bug that has been observed before? The only workaround I can think of is to assign the control text/value property in the form OnCurrent event, but this seems somewhat sloppy. Am I missing something here?

Everything works perfect, but it's impossible to save edited document, because nodes are left in [ManagedObjectContext deletedObjcets]. It gives error on save. How to clean them up? Babut

    I know how the push() and pop() methods in a typical implementation of a Queue/Linked List work but what I do want to know is what you actually define as a push or a pop? When can you name a method push()/pop()? What makes the insert()/add() method in a typical Tree implementation not a push()? My understanding is that push()ing means putting something to a position some special pointer is pointing to, and pop()ping an element means putting some object away some pointer is pointing to, but it doesn't seem to be clearly defined. Or does the naming matter at all?

    So I have a product model that looks like belongs_to :seller has_many :coupons And coupon model that looks like belongs_to :seller belongs_to :product And in my Products controller I use @seller = current_user @coupon = @seller.coupons.create(params[:coupon]) to create the coupons for the seller While the coupon is being created, I need to associate it with the product too, i.e When a new coupon is created it should be saved for the seller AS WELL AS for the product.

    Hi, I found this article (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb967663.aspx) and thought great thats exactly what I'm trying to do. I want to programatically build a product brochure using content controls and openXML. The article in question refers to an accompanying video which unfortunately does not appear to be available, nor does the code. I posted a comment to ask where they are but in the meantime does anybody know of a good example. There are plenty of examples of binding/merging one record into a openXML Word document. But I want to bind a whole list of records to create a product brochure. Can anyone point me to good tutorial? Thanks

    I need to create a program that converts one number system to other number systems. I used itoa in Windows (Dev C++) and my only problem is that I do not know how to convert binary numbers to other number systems. All the other number systems conversion work accordingly. Does this involve something like storing the input to be converted using %?     I am getting an array index out of bounds exception in the following code: for (int i=1; i<11; i++) { int a[][] = new int[10][3]; double LeftTrim = 1.0; double RightTrim = 1.0; a [i][0]=(int) (LeftTrim*((i)*25)); a [i][1]=(int) (RightTrim*((i)*25)); a [i][2]= 5000; //leftWheel, rightWheel, Milliseconds myf.setWheelVelocities(a[i][0], a[i][1], a[i][2]); JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, + (a [i][0] + a [i][1])/2 + "wheel velocities" + " | " + a [i][2] + " Milliseconds" + " Click OK to continue..."); } Every-time I reach the 9th increment Eclipse gives me the error "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 10" I have to test the velocity up to 250, but when I reach 225 and I click 'Ok' on 'Click ok to continue..." this error shows up! Am I going out of the array bounds or something? Thank you!
