    I have created one user named "tuser" with create database rights in SQL server 2005. and given the 'db_owner' database role of master and msdb database to "tuser". From this user login when I run the script for create database then it will create new database. But "tuser" don't have access that newly created database generated from script. Any one have any idea?, I want to write the script so "tuser" have access that new created database after creation and can have add user permission of newly created database. I want to give 'db_owner' database roles to "tuser" on that newly created database in the same script which create new database. The script run under 'tuser'.

  • ssh _from_ Linux _to_ Windows: Which editor to use on Windows machine?

    We have a situation where we have a SSH-server running on a Windows host which we then use an ssh client in e.g. an xterm (or another vt100 compatible client) to connect to, and then get a DOS prompt (but without any GUI at all). Now we need to have a good editor on the Windows machine which will work out of the box in this scenario. I do not have any experience with this, so I do not know where to start. Suggestions?

    I can't get this script to run, because SQL management studio 2008 says the table "NewName" does not exist. However, the script's purpose is to rename an existing database, so that it does exist when it gets to that line. Ideas? I want to load a page and display tags under a video and then when a user adds a new tag by entering it into text box to add it to the database and then refresh the part of the page which shows these tags and include the new one which has just been added all without the page being reloaded.     The problem: If i access SharePoint from Windows 7 with IE8 or Chrome5 - I must wait for like a minute to get a response. If i use other Windows 7 with IE8, just the same - just wait a MINUTE. If i use Firefox3.6 on W7 machine - page opens up instantly. Now switch to IE rendering engine in Firefox, you will have to wait just as with IE. Now i tried IE8 on XP SP3 - page opens up instantly. I tried IE8 on Windows Server 2003 SP2 (machine on which SharePoint is hosted) - page opens up instantly.   • Remote Desktop triggers a loud Beep on local machine - how to shut it up?

    When I remote desktop into a server, I get a loud beep coming out of my local machine whenever certain messageboxes pop up. (An example is to search for something in the Event Log - when the search finds no results, I get a message box accompanied by a loud beep) Annoyingly, the beep still happens even if I have sound turned off locally or the volume right down - it seems to be hooking in to some low level OS-beep mechanism. Any way to turn it off?

  • I am unable to connect to my netbook from any machine on my network until the netbook has pinged it

    I have a rather strange issue with my netbook on my local network. When trying to connect to it in any way from a remote system it does not appear to find it. However if I get the netbook to ping the machine trying to connect it mystically appears to work. Below is the ping test from my main PC to the netbook.     Hi, I run an Ubuntu server virtualbox under a Windows host for web development. At the moment I do all editing in Vim running inside PuTTY. It runs pretty well, but lacks some useful features like native copypasting from the host. I know about the remote mode of Vim, but afaik it can only operate on the same machine. Question is, is it possible to make gVim on the windows host proxy all the commands (and the editing) to a Vim instance running on the Linux guest?

    I can not use MySQL. MySQL is on my local computer. Currently I added skip-grant-tables in My.ini so I can use MySQL. But I have no privilege to create a new database. My problem is tough, although I asked related questions on SO, but no answer can resolve my problem. I almost give up. So I lower my expectation. I am developing a website, so I need to create database, tables and operate tables. You don't have to consider security. Is there a simple solution that can give me privilege to create a new database? Maybe by adding some command in my.ini or something? You won't need to completely resolve my problem. Maybe after the development, I will upload the database and tables to another server(The current database server is my personal computer, windows XP) so I can uninstall and reinstall MySQL. The root of problem is that I lack privileges.

    Is the ASP.NET 4.0 SQL session state mechanism backward-compatible with the ASP.NET 2.0 schema for session state, or should/must we create a separate and distinct session state database for our ASP.NET 4.0 apps? I'm leaning towards the latter anyway, but the 2.0 database seems to just work, though I'm wondering if there are any substantive differences between the ASPState database schema / procedures between the 2.0 and 4.0 versions of ASP.NET.
