  • Undo implementation - DOM manipulations

    Is there a library that can be used for implementing undo/redo functionality for DOM element manipulations in JavaScript? I'm writing an app that moves around DOM elements, enables editing and deletion of those elements. There are event-handlers and other objects associated with each element operated upon. Not sure whether I need to roll my own implementation of the Command pattern for this. Surely, there must be something available? If not, suggestions and pointers would be a great help.

    I am trying to find a lib file that I created. I changed the configuration type to static lib. Then I rebuild the application. When I go to the debug folder in windows, I see the .lib file. but when I create a new application and try to add it to "additional Library Directories" I go to the exact folder and it does not show up.

    I'm coming to C++ from a .Net background. Knowing how to use the Standard C++ Libraries, and all the syntax, I've never ventured further. Now I'm looking learning a bit more, such as what libraries are commonly used? I want to start getting into Threading but have no idea to start. Is there a library (similar to how .net has System.Threading) out there that will make it a bit easier? I'm specifically looking to do Linux based network programming.

    I am working on rolling a bit of my own version of linux for my real time car application. I plan to base it off of minimal ubuntu (only needsd 32 MB of memory). I am not the most skilled person with linux so not really sure how to assess components when adding them to my system.     Since both iPhone and Android support OpenGL ES, is there any open source or commercial GUI library we can use for these two platforms? Or is it doable (or how difficult) to port an application from one to another platform? As I know, for iPhone only, libNUI (http://www.libnui.net) is a good choice (dynamic layout & mature), but it only provides GPL & commercial license. Any other open source tool similar with libNUI?

  • What's the right Java generic for a collection of elements with unique addressable indices?

    I'm on my way to programming a database application and in our course we are told to implement a library of elements using one of the Java Collections. Each of the elements has a unique ID with which it's supposed to be addressed. Now I am wondering how this can be done. I though about using a ListArray but this won't work because the only way of addressing List elements is through the index which you can't control. Do you have some advice for me?
