• Cisco ASA: How to route PPPoE-assigned subnet?

  We've just received a fiber uplink, and I'm trying to configure our Cisco ASA 5505 to properly use it. The provider requires us to connect via PPPoE, and I managed to configure the ASA as a PPPoE client and establish a connection. The ASA is assigned an IP address by PPPoE, and I can ping out from the ASA to the internet, but I should have access to an entire /28 subnet. I can't figure out how to get that subnet configured on the ASA, so that I can route or NAT the available public addresses to various internal hosts. My assigned range is: 188.xx.xx.176/28 The address I get via PPPoE is 188.xx.xx.177/32, which according to our provider is our Default Gateway address. They claim the subnet is correctly routed to us on their side. How does the ASA know which range it is responsible for on the Fiber interface? How do I use the addresses from my range? To clarify my config; The ASA is currently configured to default-route to our ADSL uplink on port Ethernet0/0 (interface vlan2, nicknamed Outside). The fiber is connected to port Ethernet0/2 (interface vlan50, nicknamed Fiber) so I can configure and test it before making it the default route. Once I'm clear on how to set it all up, I'll fully replace the Outside interface with Fiber. • OpenVPN Client timing out

  I recently installed OpenVPN on my Ubuntu VPS. Whenenver I try to connect to it, I can establish a connection just fine. However, everything I try to connect to times out. If I try to ping something, it will resolve the IP, but will time out after resolving the IP. (So DNS Server seems to be working correctly) My server.conf has this relevant information (At least I think it's relevant. The reports I'm working with usually require 1-2 pages for each record. • MVC 2 View Layout CSS Control Layout

  I'm new to a lot of what I'm trying to do with the development of a new MVC2 web application so this is a beginner question. I need to understand my options for control and content layout on a web page. I’m using MVC2 so I’m using Controllers, Views, ViewModels, and View Templates. What I need to spin up on…fast…is control the granular layout of controls and content on any particular view. Below I’ve pasted two examples of auto generated templates that illustrate my challenge. I see that layout is controlled by CSS in my Site.css document. In the first example I get a sequential flow of DisplayLabel and DisplayField. I prefer the adjacent layout of DisplayLabel on the same line as DisplayField produced from example 2. However, example 2 is too simple because the formatting is applied to the Label and the Field. I think the correct way to tackle this learning curve is Microsoft Expression but I don’t have personal bandwidth at the moment to tackle Expression. • Using depends with the jQuery Validation plugin

  I've got a form with a bunch of textboxes that are disabled by default, then enabled by use of a checkbox next to each one. When enabled, the values in these textboxes are required to be a valid number, but when disabled they don't need a value (obviously). I'm using the jQuery Validation plugin to do this validation, but it doesn't seem to be doing what I expect. When I click the checkbox and disable the textbox, I still get the invalid field error despite the depends clause I've added to the rules (see code below). Oddly, what actually happens is that the error message shows for a split second then goes away. The logical way to go about this in SQL would be to build an "IN" clause. JPQL allows for IN, but it seems to require me to specify every single parameter to IN directly (as in, "in (:in1, :in2, :in3)"). Is there some way to specify an array, or a list (or some other container) that should be unrolled to the values of an IN clause?

• Adding button to jqGrid top toolbar

  Looks like the default toolbar for jqGrid is always at the bottom. Buttons like Next/Prev page and the dropdown to select the number of rows per page will always show at the bottom of the grid. I found a way to add a custom top toolbar and push custom buttons into it. What a really need is a way to add default functionality (like paging) to the top of the grid, instead the bottom.

I'm aware that I could upload a copy of JSON2.js to my server and serve it myself, but there are a number advantages CDNs offer that I would like to take advantage of. So with that in mind, are there any publicly available CDNs that host JSON2? If not, any idea why?

• Speed up UIPageViewController

  I have a UIPageViewController with several pages. Each page is the same view controller, but the page number is kept track of and the correct page of a PDF is shown. The problem is that each PDF page needs to be loaded and drawn before the curl effect works (you slide your finger across the screen and nothing happens until loaded).
