  • Port AS3/Flex app to iPhone

    I believe Adobe tools like CS5 have ways to output as an iPhone app, but what about a regular AS3 or Flex project? Are there any tools to auto-port, or AS3/Flex iPhone implementations out there? Out of interest, how does the CS5 thing work? Is it a totally different code-path or something less drastic? For instance Flash supports Shapes and Timelines, etc... do they in fact provide an iPhone Flash runtime of some sort?

  • Why is ColdFusion adding whitespace when I call a function in cfoutput?

    If I do something like this in ColdFusion: <cfoutput>foo="#foo()#"</cfoutput> The resulting HTML has a space in front of it: foo=" BAR" However, if it is not a function call it works fine, i.e.: <cfset fooOut=foo() /> <cfoutput>foo="#fooOut#"</cfoutput> Gives this output: foo="BAR" Where is this extra space coming from and is there anything I can do about it?

    Heya, I'm fetching a page using ajax (jquery) and appending certain data to the Requests query string to let the server know it shouldn't render the entire Page, just the view in question to the output buffer. I'm having no luck though, I can detect when the page needs to be rendered partially, but everything I've tried so far (including stuff like return PartialView()) isn't working. Any ideas? But when the execution reaches the statement PortAccess.Output(888,0); it throws the above exception. The PortAccess class is defined in the inpout32.dll file which i downloaded from www.logix4u.net.     I want to calculate the quarter Hour from the given two datetimes: Suppose datetime1 and datetime2 , i am doing somewhat like this : int d = datetime2.Subtract(datetime1).Hours; double l = Math.Round(Convert.ToDouble(d/4)); but if the QuarterHour is 3 (ie d=3), whats the good way to show the output- should it be zero or the round one : 3/4 = 0.75. so should i round up to 1 or 0 is ok. And if round up to 1..how should i?

    Anytime I use 'script table as' - 'Insert To' (or other command), the script generated automatically places the database name in the script. Such as: INSERT INTO [DatabaseName].[dbo].[tblToBeInserted] ... While not a huge problem to just delete it, it has slipped by a few times and the script breaks if run on a different server with a different database name but has the same schema. (Such as running on [DatabaseName.Test]) Is there an option I can change, or can I modify the output in any way to remove this?
