How to make a database service in Netbeans 6.5 to connect to SQLite databases?

I use Netbeans IDE (6.5) and I have a SQLite 2.x database. I installed a JDBC SQLite driver from zentus.com and added a new driver in Nebeans services panel. Then tried to connect to my database file from Services Databases using this URL for my database: jdbc:sqlite:/home/farzad/netbeans/myproject/mydb.sqlite but it fails to connect. Linux server is only using 60% of memory, then swapping

I've got a Linux server that's running our bacula backup system. The machine is grinding like mad because it's going heavy in to swap. The problem is, it's only using 60% of its physical memory! I'm at a loss to figure out what's going on. How can I find out what's causing this? Update: The system is a fully 64-bit system, so there should be no question of memory limitations due to 32-bit issues. Update2: As I mentioned in the original question, I've already tried tuning swappiness to all sorts of values, including 0. The result is always the same, with approximately 1.6 GB of memory remaining unused. Update3: Added top output to the above info.

CURL issue in PHP while getting location list

I am retrieving the nearest locations available from a given address (Longitude/Latitude) from geolocation website. It works fine, but for some places it gives junk characters in the name. Moreover, in browser I am getting different characters compared to my PHP CURL functionality. Here is the URL http://www.geoplugin.net/extras/nearby.gp?lat=17.7374669&long=83.3214858&limit=5&radius=50&format=php One of the location is "Sitampeta" in original location name, but in browser I am getting "Sitammapeta" where as in CURL function I am getting "SÄ«tammapeta". Please tell me why this difference. I have a sample url website: http://mysite.com/ var host = window.location.protocol+"://"+window.location.hostname; $.ajax({ type:"POST", data: params, url : host+'/forms/get_data.php', success:function(data){ ...othercodeblahblah } }); Why is it that when I try to check my firebug it makes the URL weird. This is the sample output of firebug: http://mysite.com/mysite.com/forms/get_data.php With this url it now gives me: "NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://mysite.com/mysite.com/forms/get_data.php" Shouldn't it output like http://mysite.com/forms/get_data.php ? console.log() and google chrome

I'm testing a library and I use console.log() function to visualyze values. There is a strange behaviour of Google Chrome (in other browser like Firefox it doesn't happend). If I try to store strings in Array object when I log them, sometimes values appears undefined. Code example (item.name is a string) var arrayItemsSearch = [item.name]; var itemRedrawName = [item.name]; console.log("arrayItemsSearch: ", arrayItemsSearch); console.log("itemRedrawName: ", itemRedrawName); Firefox output is correct arrayItemsSearch: ["elem[0]"] itemRedrawName: ["elem[0]"] Chrome output is not correct arrayItemsSearch: [undefined × 1] itemRedrawName: ["elem[0]"] Is this a Chrome bug? Or is this beacuse in Javascript strings are immutable objects and so something that I don't understand goes wrong?

Python subprocess.Popen hangs in 'for l in p.stdout' until p terminates, why?

However, that code will not give any output and just keeps waiting in the tun.stdout. When I kill the newtunnel process externally, it flushes all the data to tun.stdout. So it seems that I can't get any data from the tun.stdout while it is still running. Why is that? How can I get the information? Note that the default bufsize for Popen is 0 (unbuffered). I can also specify bufsize=0 but that doesn't change anything.

Selenium not finding LiveValidation text.

I am using the Selenium IDE to test some of my web development. I am using the JQuery LiveValidation in my code. I have an input box with some javascript behind it that will do a regular expresson and either ouput "OK" or "Error" next to the input text box based on what the user has entered. For some reason when testing with selenium the LiveValidation will not get triggered no matter what I do and therefore I can not test it. When I do it manually it works great. Has anyone run into this problem before? Any help would be appreciated.

When a button/link is clicked, I want this URL to be called followed by the execution of the following statements. The ASP.Net page is in C# btw. Function A statement A call abc.apsx statement B abc.aspx is a silent page, doesn't display anything on the page but creates an output.txt file. Is there a Delphi standard function for escaping HTML?

I've got a report that's supposed to take a grid control and produce HTML output. One of the columns in the grid can display any of a number of values, or <Any>. When this gets output to HTML, of course, it ends up blank. I could probably write up some routine to use StringReplace to turn that into <Any> so it would display this particular case correctly, but I figure there's probably one in the RTL somewhere that's already been tested and does it right. Anyone know where I could find it?

I have a file upload form and whatever file is uploaded suppose(abc.fasta) then i want to pass same name in execute (abc.fasta) function parameter and display function parameter (abc.aln). Right now i am changing file name manually, but i want to have it automatically. Workflow goes like this. ----If submit is not true then display only header and form part --- if submit is true then call execute() and get file name from form input --- Then display the save file result in the same page. JavaScript based diff utility

I'm looking for a diff equivalent written in JavaScript that only returns/prints relevant lines. I don't want both full text displayed next to each other with the differences highlighted, but just want the actual differences (plus some buffer lines to know where the difference is), similar to the output from the linux diff utility. Does anybody know a javascript function that does this? All differences should be recognized (even changed whitespace). Thanks. edit I have seen jsdifflib but in the example it always shows the full source, so unless there is a way to change the output somehow, it doesn't fully meet my requirements.

Logging fatal/parse errors in PHP5

I'm writing an error logging service that will be integrated into websites running on my server, that will email me error batches, etc. So I've been trying to find out if there's a way to handle fatal and parse errors, however not using the tricks to handle it in PHP code (output buffer, shutdown function). I'm quite happy to write some C code or something to handle it outside of my PHP code. I would also like to issue a redirect if possible (my sites use output buffering so there shouldn't be any headers sent). I'm pretty sure this could be done with a PHP module, but I've never written one and have no idea where to start.

I can generate text files with the elements i wanted but not all xml files can be generated. Only some of them are generated. Something might be wrong with my parser so help out please thanks.
