Hi
I have a .doc with a command button (cmdStart) which opens a form.
After populating the form I click a button to close the form and populate the .doc.
I want to hide the initial cmdStart on the .doc as well when the form closes,
Ive tries document.shapes(1).visible=false and cmdStart.visible=false but none seems to work.
Any ideas?
thanks
(ps I cant just opne the form from the autonew, I need the cmdStart visible to begin with)
It seems to me that if I enable proxy server in TortoiseSVN then pure command line svn client also starts work via proxy server.
Is it correct?
If yes - where TortoiseSVN stores this setting?
Hi,
I am trying to get access to the AssemblyVersion and AssemblyFileVersion numbers in the assembly information using the post build event command line in visual studio 2008. Is there a way to get access to that information similar to how $(TargetName) gets its macro definition from the project title.
What's the easiest way to split a file and add a header to each section?
The unix split command does everything that I need minus being able to add a header.
Any easy way to do it with existing tools before I script it up?
i have a renamed js file which i have to call in each of my php page. Now i want to replace that old name with the new one using shell.
what iam using is this :-
sed -i ’s/old/new/g’ *
but this is giving the following error :-
sed: -e expression #1, char 1: unknown command:
now how can i do this replacement??
I use bash on mac and one of the aliases is like this
alias gitlog='git --no-pager log -n 20 --pretty=format:%h%x09%an%x09%ad%x09%s --date=short --no-merges'
However when I do
:! gitlog
I get
/bin/bash: gitlog: command not found
I know I can add aliases like this in my .gitconfig
[alias]
co = checkout
st = status
ci = commit
br = branch
df = diff
However I don't want to add all my bash aliases to .gitconfig. That is not DRY.
Is there a better solution?
Is there an API to add to the a windows command prompt history? I writing a console program and it would be handy to pop some commands into the history buffer under certain (limited) conditions.
After being convinced ("schooled") that Swing apps on Mac do look native, I'm trying to make mine look as native as possible. Everything looks great, but when I hit command-Q or do it from the menu, my windowStateChanged(WindowEvent e) is not firing on my main JFrame (if I exit in any other way, it does fire). How can I respond to the real Apple quit?
How can one create menus in the command line program? I've tried stuff like:
cin input;
switch (input) {
case (1):
// do stuff
case (2):
// ...
}
but then I've had the problem of sub-menus, and going back to the same menu, etc. The first program I wrote (apart from exercises) that tried to use the switch idea for the menus had goto statements because the alternative was heaps of (at the time) complicated loops.
I use the command line sqlite3 executable to check queries I make from my code.
Is there a way to read in pragma statements or other session setup (".mode csv" for example) when the executable starts up?
I know I can do a ".read " once I'm in, but that's tedious.
How can I get the session from within a command object?
I have tried:
import org.springframework.security.context.SecurityContextHolder as SCH
class MyCommand {
def session = RCH.currentRequestAttributes().getSession()
}
This throws
java.lang.IllegalStateException: No thread-bound request found: Are you referring to request attributes outside of an actual web request, or processing a request outside of the originally receiving thread? If you are actually operating within a web request and still receive this message, your code is probably running outside of DispatcherServlet/DispatcherPortlet: In this case, use RequestContextListener or RequestContextFilter to expose the current request.
I have an application that contains Menu and sub menus. I have attached Appliocation Commands to some of the sub menu items such as Cut, Copy and Paste. I also have some other menu items that do not have application commands. How could I add a custom command binding to those sub menu items? I have gone through this artcile but unable to attach event to my sub menu items.
I often have a command that processes one file, and I want to run it on every file in a directory. Is there any built-in way to do this?
For example, say I have a program data which outputs an important number about a file:
./data foo
137
./data bar
42
I want to run it on every file in the directory in some manner like this:
map data `ls *`
ls * | map data
to yield output like this:
foo: 137
bar: 42
I need to make a SOAP webservice call to https://sandbox.mediamind.com/Eyeblaster.MediaMind.API/V2/AuthenticationService.svc?wsdl and to use the operation ClientLogin while passing through the parameters: ApplicationKey, Password, and UserName. The response is UserSecurityToken. They are all strings.
Here is the link fully explaining what I am trying to do:
https://sandbox.mediamind.com/Eyeblaster.MediaMind.API.Doc/?v=3
How can I do this on the command line? (Windows and/or Linux would be helpful)
Thanks!
I like my vim to get itself into command mode as often as possible. I think losing focus would be a good event to make that happen. Everything I found is for saving on lost focus.
I'd like it to auto-return to cmd mode when switching tabs in macvim or when cmd+tabbing to another app.
Hi,

I have the directory ~/fooscripts/ and inside there are foo1.txt, foo2.txt, etc etc
I have a command that takes the file foo1.txt as input and does some calculation. The output location etc is handled internally in fooprog
fooprog -user-data=foo1.txt
I would like to automate the whole thing in a bash script so that the script will parse all txt files in ~/fooscripts/ sequentially. I am a newbie in bash. Could anyone give me a hint?
What function in Excel simply takes a string parameter and runs the command? It would work just like the OK button in the Start - Run dialog.
Dim myCommand as String
myCommand = "excel C:\Documents and Settings\JohnDoe\Desktop\test.xls"
Run(myCommand)

I am running a task on the CLI, which prompts me for a yes/no.

HI I am a new java programmer (very new).
What I want to do/test is (not sure if its recommendable or doable?), we know that
System.out.println("Message");
will output the "Message" in command prompt. Is it possible to display the current time, without having to repeatly use the system.out.println()?
Name, like instead of displaying:
10:00:01
10:00:02
10:00:03
I wand to have liek this:
10:00:0X where X will continue counting
