  • Loading UITableView form UIView

    - by Amarpreet
    Hi Guys, I am working on navigation based application in which i can navigate to many views starting from default UITableView which is starting view in application template. I have added another UIView and added tableView control on that UIView. I am calling that view form one of the many views on a button click. Its showing the view but not populating the data in the table. And I also want to handle the event when user taps on the cell of the table of that view. Below is the Code I am using on button click: if(self.lstView == nil) { ListViewController *viewController = [[ListViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"ListViewController" bundle:nil]; self.lstView = viewController; [viewController release]; } [self.navigationController pushViewController:lstView animated:YES]; self.lstView.title = @"Select";//@"System"; [self.lstView.tblList.dataSource fillList]; Below is the fillList function code: -(NSArray *)fillList { NSArray *tempArray = [[[NSArray alloc] initWithObjects:@"Item 1" , @"Item 2" , nil]autorelease]; return tempArray; } I am pretty new in Iphone programming and don't have much understanding. Helping with detailed description and code will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

  • Objective-C basics: subclassing and member variable accessability

    - by Krumelur
    Hi, Code below is pseudo code. Imagine a class "Fruit" which has a factory method to create a fruit. interface Fruit { } +(Fruit*) createFruit: { return [[Fruit alloc] init autorelease]; } Now I want to subclass the Fruit to get an Apple: interface Apple : Fruit { int iSeeds; } +(Apple*) createAppleWithColor: (int) iSeeds { Apple* oApple = [Apple createFruit:]; oApple.iSeeds = iSeeds; return oApple; } Questions: How can I make "iSeeds" private so it cannot be changed from outside? If I add a "private" keyword it does not build anymore. Still I want to set iSeeds from inside my Apple's factory method. I want users allow to READ the content of iSeeds. So I suppose I should have a getter but I can't get it to work. I always get some error about "LValue assignment". The Fruit's createFruit is making use of autorelease. Does the Apple have to reatin/release anything? René

  • Custom UILabel does not show text.

    - by Oscar
    Hi! I've made an custom UILabel class in which i draw a red line at the bottom of the frame. The red line is showing but i cant get the text to show. #import <UIKit/UIKit.h> @interface LetterLabel : UILabel { } @end #import "LetterLabel.h" @implementation LetterLabel - (id)initWithFrame:(CGRect)frame { if (self = [super initWithFrame:frame]) { // Initialization code } return self; } - (void)drawRect:(CGRect)rect { CGContextSetLineWidth(UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext(), 2.0); CGContextSetRGBStrokeColor(UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext(), 1.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0); CGContextBeginPath(UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext()); CGContextMoveToPoint(UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext(), 0.0, self.frame.size.height); CGContextAddLineToPoint(UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext(), self.frame.size.width, self.frame.size.height); CGContextStrokePath(UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext()); } - (void)dealloc { [super dealloc]; } @end #import <UIKit/UIKit.h> #import "Word.h" @interface WordView : UIView { Word *gameWord; } @property (nonatomic, retain) Word *gameWord; @end @implementation WordView @synthesize gameWord; - (id)initWithFrame:(CGRect)frame { if (self = [super initWithFrame:frame]) { self.backgroundColor = [UIColor whiteColor]; LetterLabel *label = [[LetterLabel alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(0, 0, 20, 30)]; label.backgroundColor = [UIColor cyanColor]; label.textAlignment = UITextAlignmentCenter; label.textColor = [UIColor blackColor]; [label setText:@"t"]; [self addSubview:label]; } return self; } - (void)drawRect:(CGRect)rect { // Drawing code } - (void)dealloc { [gameWord release]; [super dealloc]; } @end

  • My app crashes after multiple rotates

    - by Ian Rae
    My app is crashing when I try and rotate it more than a couple of times. I first thought it was just the iPhone Simulator, so I loaded the app onto an iPod touch, and it crashed after fewer rotates in a row. I suspect it's a memory leak in one of my rotate methods. The only place I can think that the crash is being caused is in willRotateToInterfaceOrientation:duration:. The only two methods related to rotate that I've added/extended are shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation: and willRotateToInterfaceOrientation:duration and I don't think it's the first because it only contains the two words: return YES;. Here is my willRotateToInterfaceOrientation:duration: method so you can review it and see where the possible memory leak is. -(void)willRotateToInterfaceOrientation:(UIInterfaceOrientation)orientation duration:(NSTimeInterval)duration { UIFont *theFont; if ((orientation == UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeLeft) || (orientation == UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeRight)) { theFont = [yearByYear.font fontWithSize:16.0]; yearByYear.font = theFont; [theview setContentSize:CGSizeMake(460.0f, 635.0f)]; } else { theFont = [yearByYear.font fontWithSize:10.0]; yearByYear.font = theFont; [theview setContentSize:CGSizeMake(300.0f, 460.0f)]; } [theFont release]; } yearByYear is a UITextView theview is a UIScrollView if anyone has any idea of why my app is crashing, I would be greatly appreciative.

  • How to restrain one's self from the overwhelming urge to rewrite everything?

    - by Scott Saad
    Setup Have you ever had the experience of going into a piece of code to make a seemingly simple change and then realizing that you've just stepped into a wasteland that deserves some serious attention? This usually gets followed up with an official FREAK OUT moment, where the overwhelming feeling of rewriting everything in sight starts to creep up. It's important to note that this bad code does not necessarily come from others as it may indeed be something we've written or contributed to in the past. Problem It's obvious that there is some serious code rot, horrible architecture, etc. that needs to be dealt with. The real problem, as it relates to this question, is that it's not the right time to rewrite the code. There could be many reasons for this: Currently in the middle of a release cycle, therefore any changes should be minimal. It's 2:00 AM in the morning, and the brain is starting to shut down. It could have seemingly adverse affects on the schedule. The rabbit hole could go much deeper than our eyes are able to see at this time. etc... Question So how should we balance the duty of continuously improving the code, while also being a responsible developer? How do we refrain from contributing to the broken window theory, while also being aware of actions and the potential recklessness they may cause? Update Great answers! For the most part, there seems to be two schools of thought: Don't resist the urge as it's a good one to have. Don't give in to the temptation as it will burn you to the ground. It would be interesting to know if more people feel any balance exists.

  • Passing youtube video id from video feed to flash

    - by Grant Anderson
    I'm working on a flash web application (Actionscript 2.0) for my honours project but am having trouble embedding youtube videos. Basically the user selects symbols which queries the youtube api with certain tags depending on the symbols chosenand a random video is then picked from the first 30 videos. I have this working using the following code: on (release) { url="http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/videos?q=danger+passion&orderby=published&start-index="+random(30)+"&max-results=1&v=2" getURL(url); } but this just displays a webpage with a link to the youtube video. This is the code I'll be using as the foundations for the player: // create a MovieClip to load the player into var ytplayer:MovieClip = _root.createEmptyMovieClip("ytplayer", 1); // create a listener object for the MovieClipLoader to use var ytPlayerLoaderListener:Object = { onLoadInit: function() { // When the player clip first loads, we start an interval to // check for when the player is ready loadInterval = setInterval(checkPlayerLoaded, 250); } }; var loadInterval:Number; function checkPlayerLoaded():Void { // once the player is ready, we can subscribe to events, or in the case of // the chromeless player, we could load videos if (ytplayer.isPlayerLoaded()) { ytplayer.addEventListener("onStateChange", onPlayerStateChange); ytplayer.addEventListener("onError", onPlayerError); clearInterval(loadInterval); } } function onPlayerStateChange(newState:Number) { trace("New player state: "+ newState); } function onPlayerError(errorCode:Number) { trace("An error occurred: "+ errorCode); } // create a MovieClipLoader to handle the loading of the player var ytPlayerLoader:MovieClipLoader = new MovieClipLoader(); ytPlayerLoader.addListener(ytPlayerLoaderListener); // load the player ytPlayerLoader.loadClip("http://www.youtube.com/v/pv5zWaTEVkI", ytplayer); can anyone help me on how to get the id of the video (for example: pv5zWaTEVkI) from the feed? Or how to send a query from flash which will return the video url/id as opposed to the url of a feed. Any help would be much appreciated as my hand in rather soon. Thanks

  • Porting WebGL game to iPhone's native OpenGL?

    - by ArtPulse
    We are developing a web game that uses WebGL for the two biggest parts of it. Working with HTML / CSS was too slow and too limited, so it's off the table. Thing is, iOS does not support WebGL publicly just yet, only on iAd. It is my guess Apple will eventually support it once the security issues they and Microsoft claim it has are fixed, and looks stable enough. Problem is, if Apple does not do this by the release of the next mayor iOS version, then we will have in our hands a mobile WebGL game that does not run. 6 months of development and testing to waste. So, questions: If that was the case, how viable (regarding amount of time) is it porting the WebGL part of the game to native iPhone OpenGL? I'm afraid that porting will take longer than the development of the game itself. I saw posts on Stack Overflow (like this) that suggested, on Android, adding the OpenGL interface manually to a WebKit element. It'd be slower than native. But either way... Is this something that could be accepted in the AppStore? Apple is very restrictive with these kind of stuff... Thank you all for your time!

  • iPhone Core Data problem

    - by Junior B.
    This is my first project with Core Data, I followed the Event tutorial provided by Apple that helped me to understand the basic of core data in iPhone. But now, working over my project, I've a problem adding data into my database. When i create an object and set the data, if I try to get it back, the system returns me a strange sequence of characters. This is what i see in log if I try to log it: 2010-05-11 00:16:43.523 FG[2665:207] Package: ‡}00å 2010-05-11 00:16:43.525 FG[2665:207] Package: ‡}00å 2010-05-11 00:16:43.526 FG[2665:207] Package: ‡}00å 2010-05-11 00:16:43.527 FG[2665:207] Package: ‡}00å 2010-05-11 00:16:43.527 FG[2665:207] Package: ‡}00å 2010-05-11 00:16:43.527 FG[2665:207] Items: 5 What kind of problem could be this? • Problem with saveToFile

    - by zp26
    Hi, I have a problem with a NSData writeToFile. I have implemented the code below but i have an anomaly. When i run my program on the simulator, the new file is created and the informations are stored; when i build the app in my device , the file isn't created. The debug don't give me any error but don/t save anything. Can you help me? Thanks so much and sorry for my english. -(void)saveXML:(NSString*)name:(float)x:(float)y:(float)z{ NSMutableData *data = [NSMutableData data]; NSKeyedArchiver *archiver = [[NSKeyedArchiver alloc] initForWritingWithMutableData:data]; [archiver setOutputFormat:NSPropertyListXMLFormat_v1_0]; [archiver encodeFloat:x forKey:@"x"]; [archiver encodeFloat:y forKey:@"y"]; [archiver encodeFloat:z forKey:@"z"]; [archiver encodeObject:name forKey:@"name"]; [archiver finishEncoding]; BOOL result = [data writeToFile:@"XML Position" atomically:YES]; if(result) [self updateTextView:@"success"]; [archiver release]; }

  • When is Facebook Connect supposed to call its delegate methods?

    - by RickiG
    Hi The Facebook connect code is eluding me a bit. I have no problem doing a login, and a wall post, however, I simply can not figure out how the delegate methods for the FBDialog andFBStreamDialog is supposed to work. - (void)postToWall { FBStreamDialog *dialog = [[[FBStreamDialog alloc] init] autorelease]; dialog.delegate = self; dialog.userMessagePrompt = @"Enter your message:"; dialog.attachment = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"JSONpost code"]; [dialog show]; } I adhere to these protocols in my controller: <FBDialogDelegate, FBSessionDelegate, FBRequestDelegate> I then implement the two methods: - (void) dialogDidCancel:(FBDialog *)dialog { NSLog(@"Failed"); } - (void) dialogDidSucceed:(FBDialog *)dialog { NSLog(@"Success"); } After I tap "publish" and the postToWall methods is done executing the Facebook "pop up" in the UI is empty, except a small "X" in the top right corner and a "F" (facebook logo) in the top left corner. The UI will stay there until I tap the "X", this results in the dialogDidCancel delegate method being called. The post data is showing up on the Facebook page, everything seems to work. Why is thedialogDidSucceedmethod never called? I need this to release my facebook controller and restore the UI back to where the user was before "starting" FB Connect. Thank You:)

  • Question about effective logging in C#

    - by MartyIX
    I've written a simple class for debugging and I call the method Debugger.WriteLine(...) in my code like this: Debugger.WriteLine("[Draw]", "InProgress", "[x,y] = " + x.ToString("0.00") + ", " + y.ToString("0.00") + "; pos = " + lastPosX.ToString() + "x" + lastPosY.ToString() + " -> " + posX.ToString() + "x" + posY.ToString() + "; SS = " + squareSize.ToString() + "; MST = " + startTime.ToString("0.000") + "; Time = " + time.ToString() + phase.ToString(".0000") + "; progress = " + progress.ToString("0.000") + "; step = " + step.ToString() + "; TimeMovementEnd = " + UI.MovementEndTime.ToString()); The body of the procedure Debugger.WriteLine is compiled only in Debug mode (directives #if, #endif). What makes me worry is that I often need ToString() in Debugger.WriteLine call which is costly because it creates still new strings (for changing number for example). How to solve this problem? A few points/questions about debugging/tracing: I don't want to wrap every Debugger.WriteLine in an IF statement or to use preprocessor directives in order to leave out debugging methods because it would inevitable lead to a not very readable code and it requires too much typing. I don't want to use any framework for tracing/debugging. I want to try to program it myself. Are Trace methods (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.diagnostics.trace.aspx) left out if compiling in release mode? If it is so is it possible that my methods would behave similarly? http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/fht0f5be.aspx output = String.Format("You are now {0} years old.", years); Which seems nice. Is it a solution for my problem with ToString()?

In the CharTableController's view is the TableView in IB obviously. Reference Object in dataSource TableView and delegate TableView. What's wrong with my setting? thz.

  • My Thread Programs Block

  • onTouchListener togglebutton, ignores first press?

    - by Paul
    I have a togglebutton that should run code when I press it down and more code when I let go. However the first time I press and let go nothing happens. Every other time it is fine, why is this? I can see the method only runs the first time when I let go of the button (it does not trigger any onTouch part of the method though), how can I get around this, and have it work for the first press? public void pushtotalk3(final View view) { ((ToggleButton) view).setChecked(true); ((ToggleButton) view).setChecked(false); view.setOnTouchListener(new OnTouchListener() { @Override public boolean onTouch(View v, MotionEvent event) { //if more than one call, change this code int callId = 0; for (SipCallSession callInfo : callsInfo) { callId = callInfo.getCallId(); Log.e(TAG, "" + callInfo.getCallId()); } final int id = callId; switch (event.getAction()) { case MotionEvent.ACTION_DOWN: { //press ((ToggleButton) view).setBackgroundResource(R.drawable.btn_blue_glossy); ((ToggleButton) view).setChecked(true); OnDtmf(id, 17, 10); OnDtmf(id, 16, 9); return true; } case MotionEvent.ACTION_UP: { //release ((ToggleButton) view).setBackgroundResource(R.drawable.btn_lightblue_glossy); ((ToggleButton) view).setChecked(false); OnDtmf(id, 18, 11); OnDtmf(id, 18, 11); return true; } default: return false; } } }); } EDIT: the xml for the button: <ToggleButton android:id="@+id/PTT_button5" android:layout_width="0dp" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:text="@string/ptt5" android:onClick="pushtotalk5" android:layout_weight="50" android:textOn="Push To Talk On" android:textOff="Push To Talk Off" android:background="@drawable/btn_lightblue_glossy" android:textColor="@android:color/white" android:textSize="15sp" /> EDIT: hardware problem, can't test solutions atm.

  • Access custom label property at didSelectRowAtIndexPath.

    - by Mr. McPepperNuts
    I have a UILabel for each cell at cellForRowAtIndexPath. UILabel *cellLabel = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:frame]; cellLabel.text = myString; I want to access that string "myString" at didSelectRowAtIndexPath using indexpath. NSString *anotherString = cell.textLabel.text; returns null. Now if at cellForRowAtIndexPath, I did something like cell.textLabel.text = theString; then the didSelectRowAtIndexPath returns the appropriate cell. My question is, how can I access the text in the UILabel I apply to the cell, at didSelectRowAtIndexPath? Also, logging the cell in didSelectRowAtIndexPath returns cell: <UITableViewCell: 0x5dcb9d0; frame = (0 44; 320 44); autoresize = W; layer = <CALayer: 0x5dbe670>> Edit: NSString *myString = [[results objectAtIndex:indexPath.row] valueForKey:@"name"]; //cell.textLabel.text = myString; CGFloat width = [UIScreen mainScreen].bounds.size.width - 50; CGFloat height = 20; CGRect frame = CGRectMake(10.0f, 10.0f, width, height); UILabel *cellLabel = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:frame]; cellLabel.text = myString; cellLabel.textColor = [UIColor blackColor]; cellLabel.backgroundColor = [UIColor whiteColor]; cellLabel.textAlignment = UITextAlignmentLeft; cellLabel.font = [UIFont systemFontOfSize:14.0f]; [cell.contentView addSubview:cellLabel]; [cellLabel release]; return cell;

  • Why would fopen fail to open a file that exists?

    - by void
    I'm on Windows XP using Visual Studio 6 (yes I know it's old) building/maintaining a C++ DLL. I'm encountered a problem with fopen failing to open an existing file, it always returns NULL. I've tried: Checking errno and _doserrno by setting both to zero and then checking them again, both remain zero, and thus GetLastError() reports no errors. I know fopen isn't required to set errno when it encounters an error according to a C standard. Hardcoding the file path, which are not relative. Tried on another developers machine which the same result. The really strange thing is CreateFile works and the file can be read with ReadFile. We believe this works in a release build, however we are also seeing some very odd behaviour in other areas of the application and we're not sure if this is related. The code is below, I don't see anything odd it looks quite standard to me. The source file hasn't changed for just under half a year. HRESULT CDataHandler::LoadFile( CStdString szFilePath ) { //Code FILE* pFile; if ( NULL == ( pFile = fopen( szFilePath.c_str(), "rb") ) ) { return S_FALSE; } //More code }

  • git doesn't show where code was removed.

    - by Andrew Myers
    So I was tasked at replacing some dummy code that our project requires for historical compatibility reasons but has mysteriously dropped out sometime since the last release. Since disappearing code makes me nervous about what else might have gone missing but un-noticed I've been digging through the logs trying to find in what commit this handful of lines was removed. I've tried a number of things including "git log -S'add-visit-resource-pcf'", git blame, and even git bisect with a script that simply checks for the existence of the line but have been unable to pinpoint exactly where these lines were removed. I find this very perplexing, particularly since the last log entry (obtained by the above command) before my re-introduction of this code was someone else adding the code as well. commit 0b0556fa87ff80d0ffcc2b451cca1581289bbc3c Author: Andrew Date: Thu May 13 10:55:32 2010 -0400 Re-introduced add-visit-resource-pcf, see PR-65034. diff --git a/spike/hst/scheduler/defpackage.lisp b/spike/hst/scheduler/defpackage.lisp index f8e692d..a6f8d38 100644 --- a/spike/hst/scheduler/defpackage.lisp +++ b/spike/hst/scheduler/defpackage.lisp @@ -115,6 +115,7 @@ #:add-to-current-resource-pcf #:add-user-package-nickname #:add-value-criteria + #:add-visit-resource-pcf #:add-window-to-gs-params #:adjust-derived-resources #:adjust-links-candidate-criteria-types commit 9fb10e25572c537076284a248be1fbf757c1a6e1 Author: Bob Date: Sun Jan 17 18:35:16 2010 -0500 update-defpackage for Spike 33.1 Delivery diff --git a/spike/hst/scheduler/defpackage.lisp b/spike/hst/scheduler/defpackage.lisp index 983666d..47f1a9a 100644 --- a/spike/hst/scheduler/defpackage.lisp +++ b/spike/hst/scheduler/defpackage.lisp @@ -118,6 +118,7 @@ #:add-user-package-nickname #:add-value-criteria #:add-vars-from-proposal + #:add-visit-resource-pcf #:add-window-to-gs-params #:adjust-derived-resources #:adjust-links-candidate-criteria-types This is for one of our package definition files, but the relevant source file reflects something similar. Is this a bug in Adobe-Flash-Player or am I missunderstanding something ? Update: Internet Explorer is fine. Firefox and Chrome not...

  • DataGridView not displaying a row after it is created

    - by joslinm
    Hi, I'm using Visual Studio 10 and I just created a Database using SQL Server CE. Within it, I made a table CSLDataTable and that automatically created a CSLDataSet & CSLDataTableTableAdapter. The three variables were automatically created in my MainWindow.cs class: cSLDataSet cSLDataTableTableAdapter cSLDataTableBindingSource I have added a DataGridView in my Form called dataGridView and datasource cSLDataTableBindingSource. In my MainWindow(), I tried adding a row as a test: public MainWindow() { InitializeComponent(); CSLDataSet.CSLDataTableRow row = cSLDataSet.CSLDataTable.NewCSLDataTableRow(); row.File_ = "file"; row.Artist = "artist11"; row.Album = "album"; row.Save_Structure = "save"; row.Sent = false; row.Error = true; row.Release_Format = "release"; row.Bit_Rate = "bitrate.."; row.Year = "year"; row.Physical_Format = "format"; row.Bit_Format = "bitformat"; row.File_Path = "File!!path"; row.Site_Origin = "what"; cSLDataSet.CSLDataTable.Rows.Add(row); cSLDataSet.AcceptChanges(); cSLDataTableTableAdapter.Fill(cSLDataSet.CSLDataTable); cSLDataTableTableAdapter.Update(cSLDataSet); dataGridView.Refresh(); dataGridView.Update(); } In regards to the DataSet methods I tried calling, I had been trying to find a "correct" way to interact with the adapter, dataset, and datatable to successfully show the row, but to no avail. I'm rather new to using SQL Server CE Database, and read a lot of the MSDN sites & thought I was on the right track, but I've had no luck. The DataGridView shows the headers correctly, but that new row does not show up.

  • Why do I get CA1806 when I catch exception in C++/CLI?

    - by brickner
    I've recently upgraded my project from Visual Studio 2008 to Visual Studio 2010. By enabling Code Analysis and compiling in Release, I'm getting warning CA1806: Do not ignore method results. I've managed to reduce the code that produces the warning to this code: .h file: public ref class Foo { public: void Bar(); }; .cpp file: void Foo::Bar() { try { } catch (const std::exception&) // here I get the warning { } } the warning: CA1806 : Microsoft.Usage : 'Foo::Bar(void)' calls 'Global::__CxxRegisterExceptionObject(void*, void*)' but does not use the HRESULT or error code that the method returns. This could lead to unexpected behavior in error conditions or low-resource situations. Use the result in a conditional statement, assign the result to a variable, or pass it as an argument to another method. If I try to use the exception value or do catch(...) the warning still appears. If I catch managed exceptions instead or compile in Debug I don't get the warning. Why do I get this warning? UPDATE I've decided to open a bug report on Microsoft Connect.

  • UIViewController parentViewController access properties

    - by Dave
    I know this question has been asked several times and I did read existing posts on this topic but I still need help. I have 2 UIViewControllers - Parent and Child. I display the child view using the presentModalViewController as below: ChildController *child = [[ChildController alloc[ initWithNibName:@"ChildView" bundle:nil]; [self presentModalViewController:child animated:YES]; [child release]; The child view has a UIPickerView. When user selects an item from UIPickerView and clicks done, I have to dismiss the modal view and display the selected item on a text field in the parent view. In child's button click delegate, I do the following: ParentController *parent = (ParentController *)[self.navigationController parentViewController]; [parent.myTextField setText:selectedText]; [self dismissModalViewControllerAnimated:YES]; Everything works without errors. But I don't know how to load the Parent View so that it displays the updated text field. I tried [parent reloadInputViews]; doesn' work. Please help.

  • Setting MinimumSize Attribute for a Control in a TFS WorkItem

    - by Jay Yother
    Tools used: Visual Studio 2008 SP1 Team Explorer Team Foundation Server Power Tools October 2008 Release. Using the Process Editor in Visual Studio, I am attempting to set the MinimumSize attribute for a control in a WorkItem template to make the default size of the input area larger. I am setting the attribute according to this website: http://msmvps.com/blogs/vstsblog/archive/2007/07/07/undocumented-attributes-for-controlling-the-work-item-form-layout.aspx No matter what I set this attribute to it has no affect. I have tried setting the attribute with and without surrounding (). I've tried different capitalization of the attribute but no luck. I have verified that the MinimumSize attribute is being correctly set in the associated xml file. The control (HtmlFieldControl) is currently setup as the second child on a Tab Page. (The first control is also an HtmlFieldControl.) I've tried adding a group to the Tab Page such that the hierarchy is TabPage-Group-Column-Control with no success. I've also tried setting the attribute for the first control with no luck. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
