• Is there a way to allow `<?php` and `<?=` open tag but not `<?` ?

  In PHP I would like to be able to use the <?= open tag (which is similar in effect to <?php echo) but I would also like to disallow the use of the short open tag for any other use than quickly echo stuff. Is that possible? If it is, how could I achive this? I tried searching serverfault and Google and nothing came up. Thanks.

This happens quite often in libraries, cafes etc, so i'm sure it can be done, but I have no idea how and can't seem to find much through searching the web.   I'm looking at allowing internet access for only a few scattered users on a school network. One method I'm considering is using 802.1x authentication for the modem. Of course there are simpler options like only allowing specific IP or mac addresses, but policy requires something more secure than this. So, are there any modems with 802.1x wired authentication? All my searching on this yields info about wireless.

  i have a perl script dhcpmanip.pl which contain this line: system "hostapd /etc/hostapd-1.0/hostapd/hostapd.conf " it's a command to start hostapd!and i get this error : Insecure $ENV{PATH} while running setuid at /var/www/cgi-bin/dhcpmanip.pl line 46 After searching on the net i realised that i should accord root permission to www-data user (apache user) then i tried to modify the file /etc/sudoers by inserting this line : www-data ALL=NOPASSWD: /var/www/cgi-bin/dhcpmanip.pl but it still not working...does anyone have any idea about how solving this problem??thx alot

If I log into guest account and search my name it shows an error that i don't have permission.   I was trying to find where Electrum stored its wallet files, so I went to C:\ and entered wallet.dat in the search bar (top right), which is supposed to search through the entire C drive (right?), but it didn't find anything. Later, I manually found the wallet.dat file in C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\Electrum_SysFiles\1.1\C_\ElectrumPY. Searching for wallet.dat in C:\ still comes up empty. Why is this?
