    I need to verify that the provided string has only allowed characters using Oracle regular expressions (REGEXP_LIKE). Allowed chars are: abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0123456789_-. Trying to execute SELECT CASE WHEN REGEXP_LIKE('abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0123456789_-.' , '^[a-z0-9_\-\.]+$') THEN 'true' ELSE 'false' END tmp FROM dual; results in 'false'. Any ideas on this?

    I have a RetrieveBlob.aspx that gets some query string variables and returns an asset. Eeach url corresponds to a unique asset. In the RetrieveBlob.aspx a Cache Profile is set. In Web.Config the profile looks like (under system.web tag): <caching> <outputCache enableOutputCache="true" /> <outputCacheSettings> <outputCacheProfiles> <add duration="14800" enabled="true" varyByParam="*" name="AssetCacheProfile" /> </outputCacheProfiles> </outputCacheSettings> </caching> Ok, this works fine. When I put a breakpoint in the code behind of RetrieveBlob.aspx, it gets triggered the first time, and all the other times not.     I have a rectangle of any arbitrary width and height. I know X,Y, width, and height. How do I solve the upper right hand coordinates when the rectangle is rotated N degrees? I realized if it were axis aligned I would simply solve for (x,y+width). Unforunatly this doesn't hold true when I apply a transform matrix on the rectangle to rotate it around its center.

Then: foreach(pair) { if method evaluates to true { do something with the object } } One way of modelling this that I can think of is to have a class Constraint with a method isValid() and for each constraint produce an anonymous class (overriding the isValid() method). I feel like there could be a nicer way. Can you think of any?

    Hi all, Not a VB6 expert... Trying to come up with a VB6 test app that calls InternetCheckConnection. In my test app, InternetCheckConnection always returns false regardless of the URL I use. I copied and pasted this code from a larger spaghetti-code app, but in the spaghetti-code, InternetCheckConnection seems to work fine, returns true. Is there some other function I have to call first in order for InternetCheckConnection to work?

    In CouchDb's documentation, the described method of deleting document attachments is to send a DELETE call to the attachment's url. However, I have noticed that if you edit the document and remove the attachment stub from the _attachment field, it will not be accessible anymore. If i remove foo.txt from the document below and save to CouchDb it will be gone the next time I access the document: { "_id":"attachment_doc", "_rev":1589456116, "_attachments": { "foo.txt": { "stub":true, "content_type":"text/plain", "length":29 } } } Is the attachment actually deleted on disk or is just the reference to it deleted?
