    I just came across the following web site and noticed they had 2 map types I'm not certain on how to activitate from the Google Maps JavaScript API. http://www.maps-for-free.com/index.html It's the "Relief" and "OSM" Map Type as found on the link above. Any ideas what the API call is to display "Relief" and "OSM" from a Google Map?

    Hi all, If I have .flv files on my server at some location like http://www.example.com/archive/test.flv. In HTML page how can I tell the browser to use Flash player to play this video like youtube videos are played. Can someone tell me how to do this?   • Using single spring application context for web app

    Hi, I'm using org.springframework.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet and org.springframework.ws.transport.http.MessageDispatcherServlet In the same app but each is loading own application contexts, I need to load all beans in a single application context. The application consists of typical layers webappdao etc What I have tried is to use one single spring-root-context.xml by setting it in the contextConfigLocation. But didn't help, this has been an issue for me for a long time an I would appreciate any help with this. Any online references would be a great help. Regards Ramo

  • Photoshop and Saving Quality

    I'm making a simple image for the web which is a gradient with some text on in Photoshop CS4. The text doesn't seem to be of a great quality. If you look at the logo of stackoverflow you can see that its pretty accurate. Mine don't seem to render properly round the edges. Anyone know how to get the best quality? Photoshop CS4. Thanks.

Everything is working fine but here my whole site is https now as i used :- <transport-guarantee>CONFIDENTIAL</transport-guarantee> However, i only want my login page to use SSL and not complete site.     Cannot call action method 'System.Web.Mvc.PartialViewResult FooT' on controller 'Controller' because the action method is a generic method <% Html.RenderAction("Foo", model = Model}); %> Is there a workaround for this limitation on ASP MVC 2? I would really prefer to use a generic. The workaround that I have come up with is to change the model type to be an object. It works, but is not preferred: public PartialViewResult Foo<T>(T model) where T : class { // do stuff }

  • Anyone know of a Java reporting tools which has a web based visual report designer?

    We're currently evaluating different Java reporting engines, and having a web-based ad-hoc report designer is a requirement. We don't need anything too fancy, but we need users to be able to define a report with columns X, grouped by Y, sorted by Z, etc... We've found that many of the open source tools do have graphical report designers, but the designers are typically not web based. (For example, iReport from JasperReports seems to be an application, not a web tool) Can anyone recommend a reporting tool which meets this web-based requirement?

I know I could do network sniffing (Wireshark/Ethereal) but isn't there a simple "proxy" app that can do this? I found trivialproxy but the links are broken :(

    In the source code of the Perl module CGI.pm, in the submodule CGI::Cookies.pm, there is the following line: $raw_cookie = $ENV{HTTP_COOKIE} || $ENV{COOKIE}; I'm interested in $ENV{COOKIE} here. Are there any web servers (obsolete or otherwise) which transmit cookie information using the COOKIE environment variable instead of the HTTP_COOKIE used by Apache? I've never seen COOKIE and other CGI libraries don't seem to support it.

    Say I have a web component that uses jQuery and I want to distribute it as a packaged component. I need a way to ensure that the jQuery library is available on or after the page loads, but I also want to check that the containing html page, or another unknown component that may reference jQuery hasn't already added the library to the page. At the moment the best example I've seen is this http://www.squidoo.com/load-jQuery-dynamically It would need a little tweaking, but I was wondering if there were any other best practices.
