Hello! Tell me please is it possible to break the process of parsing? I.e. exit this loop not reaching the end of document and corresponding event "endDocument" ?
Java's jar file format builds off of the zip file format, and supports compression of the class files inside it. When and how does the JVM decide which class files to uncompress and pull out of the jars on its classpath? Is the process dynamic and done at runtime as classes are needed, or are they all uncompressed up front before the program actually runs?
I have embedded Lua in an Objective-C application using LuaObjCBridge. I need to know how to stop the Lua process if it taking too much time (infinite loop?).
Would running it in a separate thread help?
How is the scope of a variable/identifier maintained in the symbol table of a c/c++ compiler.
Please suggest some good links and books to know the how compiling process of c/c++
program is implemented for better understanding.
The idea is that I want to build a small app that detects if the webcam is being used and by what.
I have thought about seeing who has use of the Twain.dll somehow (like the way process explorer knows)
It's for a security style app that picks out weird webcam behaviour.
Ideally I would use C# as it's my strong point, but I'm guessing it won't be that nice.
I am in the process of creating a knowledgebase website for my office and I find bootstrap pretty awesome. Now, people at work, which may not be HTML savvy, will be creating new articles and then posting them to this knowledge base.
Is there something you can recommend that would allow such type of user to create a document on somthing similar to Microsoft Word but web based and then publish?
Or do I have to write it from scratch?
Thanks for any help.
Hello,
I run a c# process and in the middle of the night this happens:
ERROR [HY000][DataDirect][ODBC Sybase Wire Protocol driver] Timeout exceeded
I know for sure that the database is allways active! But this keeps happening! Do you how can I fix this error?
Thanks in advance!
Is it possible to skip a statement in Eclipse while debugging? Suppose the process stopped at breakpoint and I want to skip the breakpoint line ( or maybe a few lines below), can I do it? On the debug tab, it only has "Step into", "Step over" and "Step return" buttons.
I did google around but couldn't find anything, hopefully I can find an answer here.
Hi,
Is there a shell command to know about how much memory is being used at a particular moment and details of how much each process is using, how much virtual memory is left etc?
Imagine a repository with many kind of files.
Then, I want to get from this repository just some kind of files in a "filter process".
I mean ALL FILES are versioned. But to my local work, I just wanna i.e get *.php files, ignoring download *.jpg instead.
I think about client-site hook script (pre-update).
Anyone know if is it possible?
Thanks!
I have to process JSON files that looks like this:
владом путим нач
Unfortunately, I'm not sure how this encoding is called.
I would like to convert it to .NET Unicode strings. What's the easies way to do it?
Thanks in advance!
I have a scheduled task that is very IO intensive (deleting hundreds of thousands of files). For disk space reasons, this job has to be performed reasonably quickly. On win2k8, scheduled tasks always have a low IO priority. Raising the priority of the process did not change the IO priority. Is there any way to get a scheduled task to have a normal IO priority?
im having a combo box in which i have to display dates from database...user have to select a date from the combo box to proceed further...but im not able to make the user aware of selecting the item from the combo box first to proceed further...what is the process so that a user can get a message if he has not selected the date from the combo..
Hi there!
I've been messing around with VS2010 beta 2 (ultimate) on windows7 and already I have a nasty problem - when I try to run devenv it's only shows me very-nice-beta2 splash screen and cpu usage of devenv process run to sky.
If thats can help - on machine i have already vs2008 installed.
In the process of changing some code, I have spilt some functions into multiple files. I have the files controls.cpp and display.cpp and I would like to be able to have access to the same set of variables in both files. I don't mind where they are initialized or declared, as long as the functions in both files can use them.
This was not an issue when the functions were in the same file, but now it seems almost impossible after an hour of googling and trying various things.
Ok this situation is a bit difficult. But I am trying to embed a Java Jar into a C# form. Not as a new window or new process.
The Jar will be a game that uses the LWJGL library.
The C# Form will be a "wrapper" for it with tools and more.
Anyone have any ideas? Is this even possible?
Hello!
I am currently on a project which has been buggy for a long while, now I suspect, among other things, that there is pointer errors in the code.
The program is written in native C++ using COM and uses out-of-process COM servers.
Can anybody give me some tips as how one would go about finding these errors?
Is there specific things to keep in mind, ways to do it, etc...
If I see the output of cat /proc//smaps, I find that there are some memory regions with which no read/write/execute permissions have been associated. Also these region are mapped to inode number 0.
I wanted to know how does a region end up in such a state? Is it some sort of memory leak?
Can these regions be ever used again by the process?
I've been searching examples for the Win32 API C++ function TerminateProcess() but couldn't find any.
I'm not that familiar with the Win32 API in general and so I wanted to ask if someone here who is better in it than me could show me an example for,
Retrieving a process handle by its PID required to terminate it and then call TerminateProcess with it.
If you aren't familiar with C++ a C# equivalent would help too.
could anybody knows any alternatives to progressbar?
Inmy project im using progressbar..I would like to change it to something like a rotating gif image which indicates the processing or someother labels which prevents the user from interacting to the program.I tried to implement the gif image by using background worker but its hanging may be coz of huge file transfer process..
So im searching for someother alternative like a label which will disable the content and prevent the user to interact with the program.
Could anybody help me on this?

Does anyone know of a stand-alone tool for C# code cleaning/auditing that can run outside of Visual Studio IDE so as to be part of a build. Or if that isn't possible can someone provide some guidance as to how to make Visual Studio part of a build process -- by that I mean it would be nice to run the IDE's Sort and Remove unused using statements on all files as part of the build, but even better would be an exe that can read the .sln, or .csproj and do the job as part of build system.
Thanks,
L-
