  • Problem with iframe and IE6 and IE7 causing extra bottom padding

    Hi all, I'm trying to insert a Google Maps iframe into my website. The iframe has a padding of 4px and a border of 1px already applied to it but for some reason in IE6 and IE7 there is an extra 3px padding added to the bottom of the iframe. You can see my test site here: http://www.prashantraju.com/test/ Is there a reason why this is occurring and if so is there a fix to this?

    I use simplecartjs to make a shopping cart on my website where you can select element and send it to your cart... next step, will be the checkout process, but for business reason, no checkout process will append, and a simple form with name and email and date for order pickup will be ask.   • Change alexa tracking from artcrew.ro to www.artcrew.ro

    my website has a redirect from artcrew.ro to www.artcrew.ro but for some reason, alexa gets only the inbound links from the one without www in front, on the one with www in front i have over 2000 inbound links but on the one without www i have only 10. is there any way i could make alexa see the other inbound links? that would be grate. thanks

I can find alot about the old SOAP API however for the new AJAX api I cannot find any information on the following: Is this sort of use allowed as the Terms of use are vague Is there a limit to the number of requests per day As you can only get a max of 8 results at a time, is the only way to get the top 100 results to keep requesting the next set and is this an issue?     We have a website on IIS7 using ASP.NET Routing that seems as though it might be running out of resources. It just hangs after a few days, there is no error message or apparent crash. We are making sure every .Open command is matched by a .Close command on the database connection. We are doing the same with file Open/Close but there are very few of those. Is there anything else we should check?

In the development phase, are the javascript files usually split up (say there are 300 lines of js) to make things abit more manageable, and then merged when the website is 'put live'? Or do the developers just put up with working in one long large file?

  • Using Twitter OAuth to post updates automatically

    Here's my scenario. I have a web site, which automatically posts updates to Twitter using cURL at the moment. But I hear Twitter is going to turn this feature off and move to OAuth. I tried implementing OAuth in my site, but the user actually has to manually authenticate before being able to post anything to twitter. How can I use OAuth and still let my website post updates automatically, without me having to manually click on "authenticate"?
