  Hi all, I wish to create a personalized google map (as is shown here), I see it is possible to import a geo file (KML, KMZ or GeoRSS) with many points. I would love to use that but don't know how to create such a geo file in the first place. Which one should I use? What is the best way to create them? Thanks.

  Is there a script or batch file to automate the log-on process from the XP Welcome screen? As all details are the same Username, Password, and Domain in a room of 30 machines. The reason I don't use Windows AutoAdminLogon is I only want to logon temporary at different times as a user to run such things as online test for a class of high school students without the students logging on individually first, also it would be useful for admin tasks if I can change/specify the user details.

  Hi I have a very simple question. I wanna have a diagram with the following table Apple 30 40 50 Pears 200 300 400 Bananas 10 20 30 The weird thing, when I try to draw a bar diagram the order of the bars change. So Excel draws me first the Bananas, the the pears and finally the apple bar... Is there anyway to tell Excel 2003 that it keeps the order? Thank you very much

• Windows 7 CMD.exe jumplist possible?

  It seems CMD does not have it's own jumplist.Has someone created one already?   Hi, I have a collection of .tif files but when I open them on my Mac 10.5 they show up as solid black and I don't know why. thanks Upon further inspection at really high brightness there are some out of focus objects viewable. It looks as if I am getting the first couple bits of each pixel but not the entire range of values.

• Qemu not installed on ubuntu with xen 4.0.1 ?

  I'm kinda confused. I've installed Xen on a fresh/clean ubuntu 10.10 server (x64) using : hg clone xen-4.0-testing.hg make world make install-kernels Trying to launch qemu; first "not found" Then I installed from source (from tarballs at qemu.org) But then qemu complains about not finding /dev/kvm Am I missing something here ? I thought that qemu was part of xen install (at least it was from 3.x series). All i have is qemu-img-xen and qemu-nbd-xen.

• How can I restart yum?

  on my server, yum is using a LOT of system resources. My friend suggested to kill -9 it, but I want to know I'll be able to restart it first. Preferably without rebooting the whole server.   Hello, does anyone know how to backup Windows 2008 R2 with hidden partition to a network share? For Windows 2008 I used: Wbadmin start backup -backupTarget:\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\Backup -include:C:,D: -vssFull -quiet but now when Windows 2008 R2 has his hidden 100mb partition on first disk I don't know how to add it to "-include:C:,D:".   I have an external hard disk where I have created many partitions to use also in Linux. First two partitions are FAT32. The third is a Truecrypt partition. I cannot assign a letter to the second partition. When I go to Manage disk and right-click on the unassigned partition, most of the options are not enabled.   Hello There, this is my first Serverfault Question: I found myself this afternoon Setting up a Win Server 2008 R2 system for use with Team foundation source code control, and in order to give team-mates right to connect, i had to create user account for each of them (10 persons) (I can't and I don't want to create a domain). The point is that, after that, all that user accounts are showing in the login screen. Can i set those accounts to not show there? How? Thanks in advance

  I'm running XP and I've tried to install Windows 95 and 98 with the official CDs in Virtualbox. Both of them give the error: FATAL: no bootable medium found! System Halted I've mounted the CD drives within Virtualbox and also tried to change the boot order so that the CD drive is first but to no avail. I don't understand exactly what's going on here.

• Ubuntu 10.04 doesn't accept keyboard input when running under VMware on Windows 7

  I have just installed Ubuntu for the first time using VMWare on Windows 7. Everything has been installed smoothly but after the installation in the login screen username is coming and when I try to enter password it is not taking any input, keyboard is not working at all. After moving away from Ubuntu keyboard and everthing else is working fine. Does anyone know what's the cause behind this ?

• Why doesn't this Firefox bookmark keyword work?

  I have the keyword bookmark it's the same location as another one with a different keyword which works. I type google test and it takes me to http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=test, but I type g test and it takes me to the first result from I'm feeling luck as if there were no bookmark keyword there at all.   I have an image where I want all the pixels with a specific color converted to transparent pixels. The operation should not change the color/alpha value of any pixel which don't match the color exactly. How do I do that? At first I thought I could use Colors-"Color to Alpha" but that don't work because it changes the color of all pixels(It adds an alpha value to all pixels). Using Gimp 2.6.11 on Linux
