  • Using C# to read/write from excel spreadsheet.

    Hi there, I need to make a program that writes some data to an excel spreadsheet. Something basic along the lines of First name, last name, phone number, e-mail per row with each category in its own column. I don't even know where to start. If someone could tell me which assemblies to reference and maybe point me to a website or a book that covers writing/reading data from an excel spreadsheet via a c# program that would be great.     I have a model "news item" which contains text, image etc to display as latest news on several pages in a website. This "news item" can also be posted to Twitter or Facebook. Is it clean to implement a method post inside the news item model and inject the different post implementations as a strategy? Or is it better to have a separate application service for this? Thanks

  • File uploading with ColdFusion, too big of file timing out?

    A client has the admin ability to upload a PDF to their respective directory and have it listed on their website. All of this works dandy until a PDF reaches a certain file size that makes the server time out. This causes an error and the file uploaded will not succeed. As mentioned in the title, we are using ColdFusion with a command. Is there any java/jquery/flash modules or applications that could resolve this issue?

    Hi, If a website operating on a domain other than my own supports get requests, like: http://api.someothersite.com/v1/farms There's no way for me to access it using JSON-P right, they would have to have support for it as a query parameter? Something like: http://api.someothersite.com/v1/farms?callback=fantastic I mean, there's no way for me to use it without them explicitly supporting it, right? Thanks

    I am in the process of creating a knowledgebase website for my office and I find bootstrap pretty awesome. Now, people at work, which may not be HTML savvy, will be creating new articles and then posting them to this knowledge base. Is there something you can recommend that would allow such type of user to create a document on somthing similar to Microsoft Word but web based and then publish?     I have a form on my web page, it allows to submit many queries to my website, every query is on a separate line in TextArea. Because waiting for all queries to complete is too long I would like to update the web page after every query completes - send result of one query to a web browser, new result should be appended to old results that are already on the web page.     I have moved my Opencart website to a new host, and I receive the error: Notice: Error: Could not load language total/sub_total! in .../vqmod/vqcache/vq2-system_library_language.php on line 41 How do I resolve this? I have tried renaming vqmod/xml to vqmod/xml.bad, with no result. I have tried renaming /vqmod/vqcache to /vqmod/vqcache.bad, with no result. Update: In \system\library\language.php, I commented out an else branch which resulted in an application exit.
