This is a WPF project, but exception occurs before the App_ctor is executed, so this is external code, and my application code did not start to execute. This happens sporadically, sometimes it happens only once, and sometimes I run the project and get this message for several times in a roll. Then it does not pop up for 5-6 runs, and then starts again. Anyone knows why is this happening? I have just installed clean W8.1 64 bit, VS2013 and TFS 2013 (although I had the same problem with W8 and VS2012, but not as often).

• How to parse amadeus air ticket file

  Amadeous produces AIR file like below for every flyight reservation. I need to read reservation number and source and destionation airports from this file. I searched goog for "amadeous air format" but havent found format description. Wikipedia entry about EDIFACt is a bit different, it does not describe this content. Where to fnd information about the file structure ? How to parse this file ? I have not idea about the file stucture, does it contain records like sql table or is it some reservation protocol instructions like postscript file ? Application should work in Microsoft Windows and preferably in Visual FoxPro or C# language. FoxPro or Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Express can used as programming environment Google returns only Amadeus users guides and tutorials like in comment and in http://www.amadeusschweiz.com/en/documentation/usermanuals.html Those are user manuals. Most promising looks Amadeus Air user guide from this: File which I received name was air.txt and first token in file is AIR-BLK206 Maybe BLK206 is some booking format descriptor. Google returns some documens like my using this so it looks like it is commonly used. This file probably describes how to reserve ticket, which produces air.txt file. I seacrched this and ticket user guide for BLK but those do not contains this abbreviation. Commands in user manual look different than those from this file. How to use this information to extract reservation number and destination airport from this file ? I havent found format description using google. There are amadeus user guides, tutorials ja quick reference files similar which you posted but I do'nt understand how to use them to parse this file. One message describes that this is form of EDIFACT. However EDIFACT message sample in Wikipedia is also diffrerent. I need to create quick prototype to customer which shows that we vcan read those files. Maybe there are some programs which can used to display it in human readable form ?

• WPF: Update Listbox automatically C#

  Hi, I have two WPF windows developed using the surface SDK, one that is a data entry form, and the second dispays the data in a listbox. The listbox displays the data perfectly but when I add a new record using the data entry form, the listbox is not updated until I reopen the window. Is there a way to automatically update the listbox through binding or something? • primefaces p:commandButton action not redirecting when in a p:dialog

  I have a command button with an action that returns a new URL to redirect to. • How to remove FacesMessages from the FacesContext?

  In my screen, I have a drop down(select box), on selection of any of the options in that drop down , i display one or more text boxes beside the select box using javascript/css - display:none and display:block. All these input controls are in the same jsf form. Each of the input controls have their own validator. The problem is suppose the user selects from selection box and doesn't input value or inputs a wrong value for , i add a custom FacesMessage in the Validator and is shown appropriately and suppose the user selects the the second time and inputs the wrong value for the then another FacesMessage is added in the validator. But Now both the Messages are shown - means - the message for and - which is wrong My assumption is that , this happens because they exist in the same form and their instances are not destroyed yet in the FacesContext and in the UIView. I decided to delete the messages this way Iterator<FacesMessage> msgIterator = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getMessages(); while(msgIterator.hasNext()) { msgIterator.next(); msgIterator.remove(); } But this sometimes gives java.util.NoSuchElementException org.apache.myfaces.shared_impl.renderkit.html.HtmlMessagesRendererBase$MessagesIterator.next So 2 questions : 1) What is the problem in deleting the FacesMessages this way? I am using myfaces-api-1.2.3.jar and myfaces-impl-1.2.3.jar 2) Is there a better approach to handle my scenario? I only want to show relevent messages every time a jsf request is processed Thanks

• DRY Validation with MVC2

  Hi All, I'm trying to figure out how I can define validation rules for my domain objects in one single location within my application but have run in to a snag... Some background: My location has several parts: - Database - DAL - Business Logic Layer - SOAP API Layer - MVC website The MVC website accesses the database via the SOAP API, just as third parties would. We are using server and and client side validation on the MVC website as well as in the SOAP API Layer. To avoid having to manually write client side validation we are implementing strongly typed views in conjunction with the Html.TextBoxFor and Html.ValidationMessageFor HTML helpers, as shown in Step 3 here. We also create custom models for each form where one form takes input for multiple domain objects. This is where the problem begins, the HTML helpers read from the model for the data annotation validation attributes. In most cases our forms deal with multiple domain objects and you can't specify more than one type in the <%@Page ... Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage" % page directive. So we are forced to create a custom model class, which would mean duplicating validation attributes from the domain objects on to the model class. I've spent quite some time looking for workarounds to this, such has referencing the same MetadataType from both the domain class and the custom MVC models, but that won't work for several reasons: You can only specify one MetadataType attribute per class, so its a problem if a model references multiple domain objects, each with their own metadata type. The data annotation validation code throws an exception if the model class doesn't contain a property that is specified in the referenced MetadataType which is a problem with the model only deals with a subset of the properties for a given domain object. I've looked at other solutions as well but to no avail. If anyone has any ideas on how to achieve a single source for validation logic that would work across MVC client and server side validation functionality and other locations (such as my SOAP API) I would love to hear it!   Hello, Currently I have a server (dev tun) running openVPN and my WinXP client is able to connect to the server just fine. I have an ethernet device and I need to send data to a computer under the server's network, so since the device can't connect on its own I need to configurate my Windows XP to share its VPN connection. So, on my WinXP machine i have: Network Adapter #1 (ip 192.168.0.2 gw 192.168.0.1 with internet access). OpenVPN Connection (dhcp). Network Adapter #2 (crossover cable with device). • Applying Test Driven Development to a tightly coupled architecture

  Hi all, I've recently been studying TDD, attended a conference and have dabbled in few tests and already I'm 100% sold, I absolutely love it TDD. As a result I've raised this with my seniors and they are prepared to give it a chance, so they have tasked me with coming up with a way to implement TDD in the development of our enterprise product. The problem is our system has evolved since the days of VB6 to .NET and implements alot of legacy technology and some far from best practice development techniques i.e. alot of business logic in the ASP.NET code behind and client script. The largest problem however is how our classes are tightly coupled with database access; properties, methods, constructors - usually has some database access in some form or another. We use an in-house data access code generator tool that creates sqlDataAdapters that gives us all the database access we could ever want, which helps us develop extremely quickly, however, classes in our business layer are very tightly coupled to this data layer - we aren't even close to implementing some form of repository design. This and the issues above have created me all sorts of problems. I have tried to develop some unit tests for some existing classes I've already written but the tests take ALOT longer to run since db access is required, not to mention since we use the MS Enterprise Caching framework I am forced to fake a httpcontext for my tests to run successfully which isn't practical. Also, I can't see how to use TDD to drive the design of any new classes I write since they have to be soo tightly coupled to the database ... help! Because of the architecture of the system it appears I can't implement TDD without some real hack which in my eyes just defeats the aim of TDD and the huge benefits that come with. Does anyone have any suggestions how I could implement TDD with the constraints I'm bound too? or do I need to push the repository design pattern down my seniors throats and tell them we either change our architecture/development methodology or forget about TDD altogether? :) Thanks

• Spring Security: session expiration without redirect to expired-url?

But I can't figure out how I can configure it so that when a session expires that the request is not redirect to an other page (expired-url) or displays a 'session expires' message. I don't want any redirect or messages, I want that a anonymous session is started just like when a user without a session enters the website. • SQL Cluster on Hyper V Failover Cluster

  We have a VM running SQL Server on a 6 node cluster of blades. The VM's data files are stored a SAN attached using a direct iSCSI connection. As this SQL server will be running a number of important databases we're debating whether we should be clustering the SQL Server or will the fact that the VM is running in the cluster itself sufficient to give us high availability. I'm used to running SQL clusters when dealing with physical servers but I'm a bit sketchy on what is best practice when all the servers are just VMs sat on Hyper V. If a blade running the VM fails I presume the VM will be started up on another load. I'm guessing the only benefit that adding a SQL cluster to the setup will give us it that the recovery time after a failure will be a little quicker? Are there any other benefits?

• TortoiseSVN overlay icons do not appear when installed by a different user account?

  I've installed TortoiseSVN on my work Windows XP machine as the administrator. When I login in as a standard user my working copies do not display the overlay icons in Windows Explorer. I found this on TortoiseSVN's support pages: Did you install TortoiseSVN as a different user under WinNT/Win2K/WinXP than you are using now? Go to the settings of TSVN and activate the icon overlays for at least the fixed drives. The installer does this automatically for the current user (can't do it for other users...) but since you are using TSVN as a different user than you installed it you need to set this manually. http://tortoisesvn.net/node/97 I've checked the settings for overlay icons for the current user and the options Local and Network drives are checked. I've tried even toggling them off, applying, then on again and applying, then restarting but they still don't appear. I'm unable to install TortoiseSVN on the current user hence why I logged into the admin account. Any ideas?

  In our views/layout/default.ctp file we have an element that's used to implement a cascading combo select box which uses JQuery ajax to update the fields. This selector is part of our navbar and is loaded on every page of the site. However, on the cars/index.ctp it doesn't work. It only works when we comment out the 'tools.scrollable' include. Any ideas why there is this conflict? • jQuery: AJAX umlauts & special characters are a mess

  I've just created my first ajax function with jQuery which actually works, but unfortunately the character encoding (for characters like ä, ö, ü, ß, c, c, å, ø) is a nightmare. My files and my database are all UTF-8. I've tried a multitude of options in the ajax function and the PHP function, none of which were satisfactory. This is my ajax var dataString = { 'name': name, 'mail': mail // other stuff } $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "/post.php", data: dataString, contentType: "application/x-www-form-urlencoded;charset=UTF-8", cache: false, success: function(html){ // do stuff } I've tried it without contentType: "application/x-www-form-urlencoded;charset=UTF-8" and I've tried to wrap the affected data in encodeURIComponent(), none of which worked. When I use that AJAX with htmlentities() in my php, my umlauts look like this in plain text: UE Ã?, AE Ã?, OE Ã?, ue ü, ae ä, oe o And like this in the database: UE Ãœ , AE Ä, OE Ö, ue ü, ae ä, oe o If I don't use htmlentities() but mysql_real_escape_string() instead (or neither), they look good in plain text, but they look like this in the database: AE Ä, OE Ö, UE Ãœ, ae ä oe ö ue ü I've been trying tons of options for hours now, but I can't find a solution that works. So far the only option I seem to have is having them look like a total mess in the database, but that would be very contraproductive if those data sets need to be edited.

• MVC controller is being called twice

  Hello, I have a controller that is being called twice from an ActionLink call. My home page has a link, that when clicked calls the Index method on the Play controller. An id of 100 is passed into the method. I think this is what is causing the issue. More on this below. Here are some code snippets: Home page: <%= Html.ActionLink(“Click Me”, "Index", "Play", new { id = 100 }, null) %> Play Controller: public ActionResult Index(int? id) { var settings = new Dictionary<string, string>(); settings.Add("Id", id.ToString()); ViewData["InitParams"] = settings.ToInitParams(); return View(); } Play view: <%@ Page Title="" Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage" %> (html <head> omitted for brevity) <body> <form id="form1" runat="server" style="height:100%"> Hello </form> </body> If I get rid of the parameter to the Index method, everything is fine. If I leave the parameter in place, then the Index method is called with 100 as the id. After returning the View, the method is called a second time with a parameter of null. I can’t seem to figure out what is triggering the second call. My first thought was to add a specific route like this: routes.MapRoute( "Play", // Route name "Play/{id}", // URL with parameters new {controller = "Play", action = "Index"} // Parameter defaults ); This had no effect other than making a prettier looking link. • SSRS for Sharepoint, Images in a report from a Sharepoint List URL?

  Greetings Sabios, I have several reports I run successfully where the data comes from a Sharepoint list in the form of an XML dataset. I am however having trouble with one. I have a report that pulls an image file onto the main body of the report. This data too comes from a Sharepoint list in the form of an XML dataset which sends me the URL to the jpeg or bmp or gif... whatever the case may be. I can successfully pull this off in my own Visual Studio IDE. My Local Report Server will render it as well It won't run on my Sharepoint Report Server (My MOSS runs through https while my Shartpoint Report Server is http might this matter?) When I upload it to Sharepoint and run it through the Sharepoint Report Server, I get back EVERYTHING in the report Header and Footer (dataset text and embedded Images) but just a big RED X where the Main Image should be. I have done everything the boards say: A. I made sure the Unattended Execution Account is running on the Reports Server B. I have insured the URL comes back in clean format (else the images wouldn't render locally either and they do) The report logs throw this exception: e ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.ContainerTypeNotSupportedException: The target location you specified is not supported by the report server.   so I'm trying to scrape an Amazon page for data, and I'm getting an error when I try to parse for where the seller is located.   I have a HP 8300 elite (Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz). I'm trying to run a virtual machine via VirtualBox. But every time I start the VM, it says: VT-x is disabled in the BIOS. (VERR_VMX_MSR_VMXON_DISABLED). My lscpu output is like this: Architecture: x86_64 CPU op-mode(s): 32-bit, 64-bit Byte Order: Little Endian CPU(s): 8 On-line CPU(s) list: 0-7 Thread(s) per core: 2 Core(s) per socket: 4 Socket(s): 1 NUMA node(s): 1 Vendor ID: GenuineIntel CPU family: 6 Model: 58 Stepping: 9 CPU MHz: 1600.000 BogoMIPS: 6784.74 Virtualization: VT-x L1d cache: 32K L1i cache: 32K L2 cache: 256K L3 cache: 8192K NUMA node0 CPU(s): 0-7 I went into the BIOS but the things the can be tweaked is very limited and I couldn't find the VT-x setting. Anybody know how to do this in this setup?

  Hi All, I'm writing an app where I have a BorderLayout for the entire page. In the south part I have a Panel to which I add FormPanels. I would like to be able to scroll that Panel so I can scroll through the FormPanels. So far, nothing I've found from searches has helped. I don't quite understand what ExtJS requires in terms of the combination of LayoutManagers, setting the size and setting AutoScroll. Any partial tips will be gratefully followed up.
