    Hi folks, I am building a simple application in JSF with the CrUD functionality. I am trying to implement edit functionality using the tomahawk component .I am unable to retrieve the selected row in my backing bean.   • jquery form dialog dissapears if i use effect

    i am using JqueryUI and everything was fine until i tried to jazz it up and added an effect for showing and closing the dialog. Now the dialog appears and disappears in an instant. I am using CAKEPHP, if that matter and still have cake.generic.css on and the debug option on, but i dont see how this could matter.

    Hi people. I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out how to do this one. Here's the scenario. My e-commerce site has a blog with a lot of content, promoting the products I sell, reviewing them etc. 99% of the posts on the blog link back to the products they are talking about. I'm going to be changing the URL where my ecommerce system is located. Therefore my blog is going to end up sending people to a lot of 404 pages. The idea I've had is to be able inclue a JS file which will on load, scan the document for existing links then, if found, swap them out with ones which are now correct. I hope this make sense.   • Symfony dynamic forms

    Hi there, I started with a form, which is made by hand because of it's complexity (it's a javascript modified form, with sortable parts, etc). The problem is that now I need to do the validation, and it's a total mess to do it from scratch in the action using the sfValidator* classes. So, I am thinking to do it using sfForm so that my form validation and error handling can be done more easier and so I can reuse this form for the Edit and Create pages. The form is something like this: <form> <input name="form[year]"/> <textarea name="form[description]"></textarea> <div class="sortable"> <div class="item"> <input name="form[items][0][name]"/> <input name="form[items][0][age]"/> </div> <div class="item"> <input name="form[items][1][name]"/> <input name="form[items][1][age]"/> </div> </div> </form> The thing is that the sortable part of the form can be expanded from 2 to N elements on the client side. So that it has variable items quantity which can be reordered. How can I approach this problem? Any ideas are welcome, thank you. :)

The simplest solution to this I can think of would be to use a tool to minify all static content so that (after encryption) only a small number of result sizes exist so as to minimize the information available to an eavesdropper. Are there any tools for doing this?

    Hi all: I've been trying to do as the client requested : redirect to campaign page then to destination page once a customer clicks on the top banner in swf format. You can check what's been done at :http://ausdcf.org If you are using Firefox, Chrome or Safari, I suspect you can reach the destination page. However, if you are using IE or Opera, I doubt it.
