  When i replicate some db, my schemas, roles and user information (connected with that db) are not replicated. Moreover, if table in db is empty, replication don't create it on subscriber side. How to change this behavior (how to replicate db with shcemas, roles and users)?

  In my document root, I have to directories: home and foobar, both with their own index.html files. How can I set it up so that when someone visits my site at example.com, they see the contents on home/index.html? I tried using an index.php with a redirect in document root, as well as a .htaccess redirect, but both of them change the URL in the browser to example.com/home/, which I would like to ideally avoid.

  I want to use the internet connection of the servers at my university. I have a remote desktop account, and I have tried setting up VPN, but all VPN or proxy server software I could think of was blocked. Windows' built in VPN is blocked too. When I go to "Change Adapter Settings" and click on "File-New Incoming Connection", it says "Access denied." What would your suggestion be to use the internet connection of the remote desktop?

• Gmail + Firefox hang?

• Exchange2010 has Private Machine Name and IP in outbound SMTP - How to remove?

  We have a domain (domain.local) that has IP Addresses in the 10.10.10.* range. In the outbound SMTP server traffic, I see the internal machine name (exchange.domain.local), and the internal ip address (10.10.10.55). The question is, how do you remove this header from exchange, or change it to have the external machine name/ip addresses. I am not talking about the HELO / EHLO handshake as part of the protocol. Please help.

  Hello. I've noticed that directories' permissions for my automounted USB hard drive formatted in NTFS in Ubuntu 9.10 are 700. This is inconvenient for me. On Ubuntu 8.04 LTS it was 777 everywhere and it was good. Where can I change those default automount permissions for such a drive? Thank you.

  Our password policy makes users change pw every 30 days, when this happens they sometimes find they are logged on with a local profile and none of their settings. This generally only happens when the PC was slow at logging onto the network, but in this case I know it had plenty of time to do so. • Rename X11 input devices with hotplugging?

  Is it possible to change the X11 input device identifiers, as they are for example listed by xinput? Preferably without switching to a static xorg.conf configuration, I'm using xorg-server 1.12.4 (archlinux). I need to do that since, as it seems Blender identifies the Pen and Eraser of a graphics tablet using the hardcoded names "stylus" and "eraser" but by default the names of my tablet are prefixed with the type e.g. "Wacom Bamboo 16FG 4x5 Pen stylus".
