  • Flex - Flash Builder Design View not showing embedded fonts correctly

    - by Crusader
    Tools: Air 2, Flex SDK 4.1, Flash Builder, Halo component set (NO Spark being used at all) Fonts work perfectly when running the appliction, but not in design view. This effectively makes design view WORTHLESS because it's impossible to properly position components or labels without knowing what the true size is (it changes depending on font...) ... CSS included in root component like so: <fx:Style source="style.css"/> CSS file: /* CSS file */ @namespace mx "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx"; global { font-family:Segoe; font-size:14; color:#FFFFFF; } mx|Application, mx|VBox, mx|HBox, mx|Canvas { font-family:Segoe; background-color:#660000; border-color:#222277; color:#FFFFFF; } mx|Button { font-family:Segoe; fill-colors:#660000, #660000, #660000, #660000; color:#FFFFFF; } .... Interestingly (or buggily?), when I try pasting the style tag into a subcomponent (lower than the top level container), I get a bunch of warnings in the subcomponent editor view stating that CSS type selectors are not supported in.. (all the components in the style sheet). Yet, they do work when the application is executed. Huh? This is how I'm embedding the fonts in the root level container: [Embed(source="/assets/segoepr.ttf", fontName="Segoe", mimeType="application/x-font-truetype", embedAsCFF='false')] public static const font:Class; [Embed(source="/assets/segoeprb.ttf", fontName="Segoe", mimeType="application/x-font-truetype", fontWeight="bold", embedAsCFF='false')] public static const font2:Class; So, is there a way to get embedded fonts to work in design view or what?

  • hover effect jQuery

    - by Ori Cohen
    I have a bunch of li elements that I want to alternate in color using odds and evens, and then highlight based on mouse hover. In order to un-highlight I need to keep track of what the color used to be, odd or even. To do this when I apply the highlight color, I first set an arbitrary attribute to it. Are there any downsides to doing it this way? Is there a better way? Here's the code: <script type="text/javascript"> var init = function(event){ $("li:odd").css({'background-color' : '#eeeeee', 'font-weight' : 'bold'}); $("li:even").css('background-color', '#cccccc'); //initial colors setup $("li").hover( function () //hover over { var current = $(this); current.attr('old-background', current.css('background-color')); current.css('background-color', '#ffee99'); } , function() //hover out { var current = $(this); current.css('background-color', current.attr('old-background')); }) } $(document).ready(init); </script> So is there a better way to do this?

  • Struts2 + jQuery Autocompletion (Solved, with DOJO :) )

    - by Luigi 1982
    I used the jQuery autocompletion for my Struts2 application. Pratically, my action made a list of strings that jQuery use. This is the script: $().ready(function() { $("#tag").autocomplete("/myAction/Action", { multiple : true, autoFill : true, minChars:1 }); }); During typing appear the box with the suggestions. The problem is that the box render another value, exactly render the code of my JSP ( links to CSS for the autocomplete plug-in). How can I solve this? This is my JSP: <html> <head> <script src="<%=request.getContextPath()%>/scripts/jquery-latest.js"></script> <link rel="stylesheet" href="<%=request.getContextPath()%>/scripts/main.css" type="text/css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" href="<%=request.getContextPath()%>/scripts/jquery.autocomplete.css" type="text/css" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="<%=request.getContextPath()%>scripts/jquery.bgiframe.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/<%=request.getContextPath()%>/query.dimensions.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="<%=request.getContextPath()%>/scripts/jquery.autocomplete.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> $().ready(function() { $("#tag").autocomplete("/myAction/Action", { multiple : true, autoFill : true, minChars:1 }); }); </script> </head> <body> <s:form action="Action" theme="simple"> <s:iterator value="elencoMateriali" var="asd"> <s:property value="#asd" escape="false"/> </s:iterator> <s:textfield id="tag" name="tagField" label="tag" /> </s:form> </body>

  • How to specify custom Sass directory with sinatra

    - by yaya3
    Instead of serving my Sass files from the default 'views' directory I'd like to change this to /assets/sass The following attempts are in my main ruby root file in the app: Attempt 1 set :sass, Proc.new { File.join(root, "assets/sass") } get '/stylesheet.css' do sass :core end With this I get the following error: myapp.rb:17 NoMethodError: undefined method `merge' for "/Users/x/x/x/mysinatraapp/assets/sass":String Attempt 2 get '/stylesheet.css' do sass :'/assets/sass/core' end Attempt 3 get '/stylesheet.css' do sass :'/assets/sass/core' end Both return the following error: Errno::ENOENT: No such file or directory - ./views/assets/sass/core.sass Attempt 4 get '/stylesheet.css' do sass :'../assets/sass/core' end This works! however, there must be something along the lines of set :sass, Proc.new { File.join(root, "assets/sass") } that sets this up for me?

  • Getting libjpeg/libTIFF.dylib error after recompiling php in OS X 10.6.3 Server

    - by leggo-my-eggo
    I've recompiled php 5.3.0 under OS X Server (10.6.3) in order to gain Freetype support in GD. As part of the process, I recompiled libjpeg-8a (and before that I tried libjpeg-7). But when I run apachectcl configtest, I get the following error: httpd: Syntax error on line 155 of /private/etc/apache2/httpd.conf: Cannot load /usr/libexec/apache2/mod_auth_user_host_apple.so into server: dlopen(/usr/libexec/apache2/mod_auth_user_host_apple.so, 10): Symbol not found: __cg_jpeg_resync_to_restart\n Referenced from: /System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/ImageIO.framework/Versions/A/Resources/libTIFF.dylib\n Expected in: /usr/lib/libJPEG.dylib\n in /System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/ImageIO.framework/Versions/A/Resources/libTIFF.dylib I don't really understand the error. Is there anyone who could help me figure out how to fix it? In php the gd library now seems unaware of libjpeg support.

  • Whats happening to my HTML?

    - by user156814
    I am making changes to my website, and I just noticed that things look different. In IE, the content doesnt center, theres a margin on my content, and the font looks bigger in chrome.. I ran it through Yahoo's HTML validator and the error I get is line 1 - Error: character "" not allowed in prolog. I believe that there may be some sort of whitespace being sent before the DOC TYPE, but I cant seem to fix it. The HTML looks fine in my text editor (Notepad++) so I dont know what the problem is. Im using a strict DOC Type. Everything was fine before I made any changes, but I cant pinpoint what caused the change. If it helps, I'm using a Framework (Kohana). My initial thought was that something was being sent to the browser by an echo or something, but I couldnt find any echo statements. I dont know what could be causing this... If you want to see any code or HTML just ask. Thanks. Heres the HTML (only head and doctype) via the page source in Google Chrome There seems to be some foreign characters in the source that I've never seen before, yet dont show up anywhere else (yahoo, or otherwise) <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en"> <head> <title>Recent Debates - Clashing Thoughts</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en-us" /> <meta name="description" content="Clashing Thoughts is a great place to argue! • Javascript break breaks Firefox

    - by Maxime
    Hi, I'm working on this Javascript script that works nice in Safari and Chome but for some reason it doesn't work at all in Firefox. I identified the line that caused this: it's "break;". How do I fix this? playListConfig( index ); $("#jquery_jplayer").jPlayer("play"); song_num = myPlayList[index].song_id; if(!o[song_num]) { o[song_num] = 1;} $.get("http://www.ratemysong.net/includes/getnote.php?song_id="+song_num+"&s"+Math.random(), function(data){ if(data == "") { $('#rating ul li a').each(function() { $(this).attr('href', '#'); $(this).css("color","#FFF"); }); $('#rating ul li a').click(function(e) { ++o[song_num]; if(o[song_num]==2) { $(this).css({color:'#59B'}); var url = "http://www.ratemysong.net/boxes/voted.php?note="; url = url + $(this).attr('id'); $.get(url, function(data){ $('#basic-modal-content').html(data); $("#basic-modal-content").modal(); }); rating[song_num] = $(this).attr('id'); } else { $("#already_voted").modal(); } break; }); } else { $('#rating ul li a').each(function() { $(this).removeAttr('href'); $(this).css("color","#000"); var id_value = $(this).attr("id"); $(this).css("color","#FFF"); if(id_value == data) { $(this).css("color","#59B"); } }); } }); }

  • Ninject InThreadScope Binding

    - by e36M3
    I have a Windows service that contains a file watcher that raises events when a file arrives. When an event is raised I will be using Ninject to create business layer objects that inside of them have a reference to an Entity Framework context which is also injected via Ninject. In my web applications I always used InRequestScope for the context, that way within one request all business layer objects work with the same Entity Framework context. In my current Windows service scenario, would it be sufficient to switch the Entity Framework context binding to a InThreadScope binding? In theory when an event handler in the service triggers it's executed under some thread, then if another file arrives simultaneously it will be executing under a different thread. Therefore both events will not be sharing an Entity Framework context, in essence just like two different http requests on the web. One thing that bothers me is the destruction of these thread scoped objects, when you look at the Ninject wiki: .InThreadScope() - One instance of the type will be created per thread. .InRequestScope() - One instance of the type will be created per web request, and will be destroyed when the request ends. Based on this I understand that InRequestScope objects will be destroyed (garbage collected?) when (or at some point after) the request ends. This says nothing however on how InThreadScope objects are destroyed. To get back to my example, when the file watcher event handler method is completed, the thread goes away (back to the thread pool?) what happens to the InThreadScope-d objects that were injected? EDIT: One thing is clear now, that when using InThreadScope() it will not destroy your object when the handler for the filewatcher exits. I was able to reproduce this by dropping many files in the folder and eventually I got the same thread id which resulted in the same exact Entity Framework context as before, so it's definitely not sufficient for my applications. In this case a file that came in 5 minutes later could be using a stale context that was assigned to the same thread before.

  • System halts for a fraction of second after every 2-3 seconds

    - by iSam
    I'm using Windows 7 on my HP ProBook 4250s. The problem I face is that my system halts for a fraction of second after every 2-3 seconds. These jerks are not letting me concentrate or work properly. This happens even when I'm just typing in notepad while no other application is running. I tried to install every driver from HP's website and there's no item in device manager marked with yellow icon. Following are my system specs: Machine: HP ProBook 4250s OS: Windows 7 professional RAM: 2GB Processor: Intel Core i3 2.27GHz Following is my HijackThis Log: **Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1** Scan saved at 9:34:03 PM, on 11/13/2012 Platform: Unknown Windows (WinNT 6.01.3504) MSIE: Internet Explorer v9.00 (9.00.8112.16450) **Running processes:** C:\Windows\system32\taskhost.exe C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe C:\Windows\system32\Dwm.exe C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE C:\Windows\System32\igfxtray.exe C:\Windows\System32\hkcmd.exe C:\Windows\System32\igfxpers.exe C:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP\SynTPEnh.exe C:\Program Files\PowerISO\PWRISOVM.EXE C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\AvastUI.exe C:\Program Files\Free Download Manager\fdm.exe C:\Windows\system32\wuauclt.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\WINWORD.EXE C:\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54896 R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://bing.com/ R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=69157 R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54896 R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54896 R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=69157 R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName = R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {7473b6bd-4691-4744-a82b-7854eb3d70b6} - (no file) O2 - BHO: Adobe PDF Reader Link Helper - {06849E9F-C8D7-4D59-B87D-784B7D6BE0B3} - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX\AcroIEHelper.dll O2 - BHO: Babylon toolbar helper - {2EECD738-5844-4a99-B4B6-146BF802613B} - (no file) O2 - BHO: MrFroggy - {856E12B5-22D7-4E22-9ACA-EA9A008DD65B} - C:\Program Files\Minibar\Froggy.dll O2 - BHO: avast!   • How to build an offline web app using Flask?

    - by Rafael Alencar
    I'm prototyping an idea for a website that will use the HTML5 offline application cache for certain purposes. The website will be built with Python and Flask and that's where my main problem comes from: I'm working with those two for the first time, so I'm having a hard time getting the manifest file to work as expected. The issue is that I'm getting 404's from the static files included in the manifest file. The manifest itself seems to be downloaded correctly, but the files that it points to are not. This is what is spit out in the console when loading the page: Creating Application Cache with manifest http://127.0.0.1:5000/static/manifest.appcache offline-app:1 Application Cache Checking event offline-app:1 Application Cache Downloading event offline-app:1 Application Cache Progress event (0 of 2) http://127.0.0.1:5000/style.css offline-app:1 Application Cache Error event: Resource fetch failed (404) http://127.0.0.1:5000/style.css The error is in the last line. When the appcache fails even once, it stops the process completely and the offline cache doesn't work. This is how my files are structured: sandbox offline-app offline-app.py static manifest.appcache script.js style.css templates offline-app.html This is the content of offline-app.py: from flask import Flask, render_template app = Flask(__name__) @app.route('/offline-app') def offline_app(): return render_template('offline-app.html') if __name__ == '__main__': app.run(host='0.0.0.0', debug=True) This is what I have in offline-app.html: <!DOCTYPE html> <html manifest="{{ url_for('static', filename='manifest.appcache') }}"> <head> <title>Offline App Sandbox - main page</title> </head> <body> <h1>Welcome to the main page for the Offline App Sandbox!</h1> <p>Some placeholder text</p> </body> </html> This is my manifest.appcache file: CACHE MANIFEST /style.css /script.js I've tried having the manifest file in all different ways I could think of: CACHE MANIFEST /static/style.css /static/script.js or CACHE MANIFEST /offline-app/static/style.css /offline-app/static/script.js None of these worked. The same error was returned every time. I'm certain the issue here is how the server is serving up the files listed in the manifest. Those files are probably being looked up in the wrong place, I guess. I either should place them somewhere else or I need something different in the cache manifest, but I have no idea what. I couldn't find anything online about having HTML5 offline applications with Flask. Is anyone able to help me out?

  • Grunt usemin with templates

    - by gang
    Given the following directory structure: – Gruntfile.js – app |– index.php |– js |– css |– templates |– template.php – dist How can I configure grunt usemin to update the references to styles and scripts in my template file relative to the index.php which uses the template? currently the tasks look like this: useminPrepare: { html: '<%= yeoman.app %>/templates/template.php', options: { dest: '<%= yeoman.dist %>' } }, usemin: { html: ['<%= yeoman.dist %>/{,*/}*.php'], css: ['<%= yeoman.dist %>/css/*.css'], options: { dirs: ['<%= yeoman.dist %>'] } } And the blocks inside of the template look like this: <!-- build:js js/main.js --> <script src="js/script1.js"></script> <script src="js/script2.js"></script> <!-- endbuild -->

  • Unit tests and Test Runner problems under .Net 4.0

    - by Brett Rigby
    Hi there, We're trying to migrate a .Net 3.5 solution into .Net 4.0, but are experiencing complications with the testing frameworks that can operate using an assembly that is built using version 4.0 of the .Net Framework. Previously, we used NUnit 2.4.3.0 and NCover 1.5.8.0 within our NAnt scripts, but NUnit 2.4.3.0 doesn't like .Net 4.0 projects. So, we upgraded to a newer version of the NUnit framework within the test project itself, but then found that NCover 1.5.8.0 doesn't support this version of NUnit. We get errors in the code saying words to the effect of the assembly was built using a newer version of the .Net Framework than is currently in use, as it's using .Net Framework 2.0 to run the tools. We then tried using Gallio's Icarus test runner GUI, but found that this and MbUnit only support up to version 3.5 of the .Net Frameword and the result is "the tests will be ignored". In terms of the coverage side of things (for reporting into CruiseControl.net), we have found that PartCover is a good candidate for substituting-out NCover, (as the newer version of NCover is quite dear, and PartCover is free), but this is a few steps down the line yet, as we can't get the test runners to work first!! Can any shed any light on a testnig framework that will run under .Net 4.0 in the same way as I've described above? If not, I fear we may have to revert back to using .Net 3.5 until the manufacturers of the tooling that we're currently using have a chance to upgrade to .Net 4.0. Thanks.

  • Trouble setting up php Zend include path

    - by behrk2
    Hello, I am trying to set up a PHP path to my Zend Framework. I am very confused on how to do this. My Zend Framework is located at the following location on my server: amazon/ZendFramework-1.10.3-minimal I am going to be creating a couple of php files in the amazon/ directory that will require the Zend Framework. My include path is: include("ZendFramework-1.10.3-minimal/library/Zend/Service/Amazon.php"); This works, however inside of Amazon.php is the line require_once 'Zend/Rest/Client.php'; ...and then Client.php has more dependencies set up like that, and so on. How can I set up my include path so that Amazon.php and Client.php (and so on) can correctly reference the location of the Zend Framework? Thanks

  • Django template not loading properly

    - by fmsf
    Hey, When this one runs everything goes fine: (r"^newobject$", "views.myobjects.newobject"), All the CSS + JS files are properly fetched from: static/css/... static/js/... When this one runs: (r"^mybjects/(([a-z]|[A-Z]|[0-9])+)$","views.myobjects.loadobject"), All the css and JS files that are being fetched, are run trough the urlpatterns and are returning my defailt page: (r"", 'views.main.index'), This makes all my CSS and JS code to actualy be HTML. My guess is that i'm giving some noob mistake. Is there any common reason why this should happen? And how to fix it?

  • How do I set the bake command to use a different template in cakephp

    - by Gaurav Sharma
    Hi all, I wanted bake command to bake a view of my liking. So I searched bakery and found this Modify-default-HTML-produced-by-baked-templates. But after reading this I was not able to modify the template because I wanted to define some CSS in it and those files are not containing any CSS code (they contain only php code inside them). Also if I have designed my own CSS file for the new template then how do I tell bake command to pick that specified css file for new template ? I am totally confused over here. Has anybody done this similar kinda work using cakePHP. Any help would be greatly appreciable. NOTE: I am using cakePHP v 1.3 latest stable release. Thanks

  • Internet Explorer ajax request not returning anything

    At the end of my registration process you get to a payment screen where you can enter a coupon code, and there is an AJAX call which fetches the coupon from the database and returns it to the page so it can be applied to your total before it is submitted to paypal. The (data) being returned to the jQuery function appears to be null. jQuery Post function applyPromo() { var enteredCode = $("#promoCode").val(); $(".promoDiscountContainer").css("display", "block"); $(".promoDiscount").html("<img src='/images/loading.gif' alt='Loading...' title='Loading...' height='18' width='18' />"); $.post("/ajax/lookup-promo.php", { promoCode : enteredCode }, function(data){ if ( data != "error" ) { var promoType = data.getElementsByTagName('promoType').item(0).childNodes.item(0).data; var promoAmount = data.getElementsByTagName('promoAmount').item(0).childNodes.item(0).data; $(".promoDiscountContainer").css("display", "block"); $(".totalWithPromoContainer").css("display", "block"); if (promoType == "percent") { $("#promoDiscount").html("-" + promoAmount + "%"); var newPrice = (originalPrice - (originalPrice * (promoAmount / 100))); $("#totalWithPromo").html(" $" + newPrice); if ( promoAmount == 100 ) { skipPayment(); } } else { $("#promoDiscount").html("-$" + promoAmount); var newPrice = originalPrice - promoAmount; $("#totalWithPromo").html(" $" + newPrice); } $("#paypalPrice").val(newPrice + ".00"); $("#promoConfirm").css("display", "none"); $("#promoConfirm").html("Promotion Found"); finalPrice = newPrice; } else { $(".promoDiscountContainer").css("display", "none"); $(".totalWithPromoContainer").css("display", "none"); $("#promoDiscount").html(""); $("#totalWithPromo").html(""); $("#paypalPrice").val(originalPrice + ".00"); $("#promoConfirm").css("display", "block"); $("#promoConfirm").html("Promotion Not Found"); finalPrice = originalPrice; } }, "xml"); } Corresponding PHP Page include '../includes/dbConn.php'; $enteredCode = $_POST['promoCode']; $result = mysql_query( "SELECT * FROM promotion WHERE promo_code = '" . $enteredCode . I'm trying to use GDataXML library in my ipad application. I followed by instructions: Download the gdata-objective-c client library. Unzip the file, navigate to Source\XMLSupport, and drag the two files GDataXMLNode.h and GDataXMLNode.m into your project In XCode, click Project\Edit Project Settings and make sure “All Configurations” are checked. • Conflict between two Javascripts (MailChimp validation etc. scripts & jQuery hSlides.js)

    - by Brian
    I have two scripts running on the same page, one is the jQuery.hSlides.js script http://www.jesuscarrera.info/demos/hslides/ and the other is a custom script that is used for MailChimp list signup integration. The hSlides panel can be seen in effect here: http://theatricalbellydance.com. I've turned off the MailChimp script because it was conflicting with the hSlides script, causing it not to to fail completely (as seen here http://theatricalbellydance.com/home2/). Can someone tell me what could be done to the hSlides script to stop the conflict with the MailChimp script? The MailChimp Script var fnames = new Array(); var ftypes = new Array(); fnames[0] = 'EMAIL'; ftypes[0] = 'email'; fnames[3] = 'MMERGE3'; ftypes[3] = 'text'; fnames[1] = 'FNAME'; ftypes[1] = 'text'; fnames[2] = 'LNAME';
