• Trouble using gitweb with nginx

  I have a git repository in a directory inside of /home/raynes/pubgit/. I'm trying to use gitweb to provide a web interface to it. I use nginx as my web server for everything else, so I don't really want to have to use another just for this. I'm mostly following this guide: http://michalbugno.pl/en/blog/gitweb-nginx, which is the only guide I can find via google and is really recent. fcgiwrap apparently isn't in Lucid Lynx's repositories, so I installed it manually. I spawn instances via spawn-fcgi: spawn-fcgi -f /usr/local/sbin/fcgiwrap -a 127.0.0.1 -p 9001 That's all good. Can we register namespaces for the validator??? I AM EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED TO VALID XHTML. I like addthis, I think its the best button of its kind (yes, I need to use the namespace properties, I know you dont have to but I do for what im doing PHP project) :(

Bu when I add my user/pass as it's describe here: http://dk.php.net/manual/en/http.request.options.php like this: $res = http_post_data('https://example.com', $data, array( 'Content-Type: "text/xml"', 'httpauth' => base64_encode('user:pass'), 'httpauthtype' => HTTP_AUTH_BASIC ) ); the protocol is https - I get a runtime error in return (it's a .Net service). I have tried it without the base64_encode but with the same result.

• 404 Error on a file that exists?

  Hello all, A script makes a GET request to my URL like so: http://mydomain.com/cgi-bin/uu_ini_status_audios.pl?tmp_sid=b742be1d131c4d32237a9f1fcdca659e&rnd_id=0.2363453360320319 However, I get a 404 returned straight away: The requested URL /cgi-bin/uu_ini_status_audios.pl was not found on this server. But that script exists on my server, I can see the file! It has the correct permissions (I gave it a 777 to be sure). It is also owned by my apache user and its in the group apache. What am I missing?? Thanks for any help on this! Update I thought it would have been a htaccess (rewrite) but I don't think it is anymore. I tried putting a index.php file in there and try to access it via my URL but I can't even do that! I tried this: http://mydoamin.com/cgi-bin/index.php - same 404 error! • YSlow always tells me my content is not served from a CDN

  YSlow always tells me my content is not served from a CDN no matter what value(s) I put in about:config extensions.yslow.cdnHostnames. I've tried entering my.cdn.com, http://my.cdn.com/folder1/a/b/, http://my.cdn.com basically every variation I could think of and no matter what values I configure it never acknowledges it's hosted on a CDN. Is this just a giant bug in YSlow or is there some kind of specified format that's not explained anywhere that it wants?

  I'm trying to add an svn repository to eclipse. I've installed subclipse, and it seems to be working fine. But, when I try to "add a new SVN repository", I input this, for example: http://svn.python.org/projects/peps/trunk I get this: Error validating location: "org.tigris.subversion.javahl.ClientException: RA layer request failed svn: OPTIONS of 'http://svn.python.org/projects/peps/trunk': could not connect to server (http://svn.python.org) " Keep location anyway? I know that my eclipse can connect to the 'net because I downloaded subclipse earlier (I had to change my proxy settings). I get a similar message for other SVN locations I've tried to add. Anyone have any solutions?

• Can't Mount Databases in the Recovery Storage Group in Exchange 2003

  After restoring some mail stores, mounting them in the recovery storage group errors out. So far a repair with eseutil (which the log says was successful) and a server reboot has been tried. A defrag is currently running on the mail store I need to go through this again to post the exact error codes, so I will be updating this question. But I thought someone who does this a lot might have a "More times than not..." answer in the meantime.

  I have enabled SSI using the following directives in .htaccess AddHandler server-parsed .html AddOutputFilter INCLUDES html However when I add these, the trailing slash redirects stop working. For eg. http://testwp.humbug.in/test/index.html works fine but http://testwp.humbug.in/test/ doesn't work. In chrome it gives a "Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE)" error while in firefox it shows a blank page. What additional configuration do I need for both mod_dir and mod_include to work properly?

  I have http://example.com/index.html, which from within the HTML uses JavaScript to call a web services at http://example.com/json/?a=...&b=... The web service returns to index.html a JSON array of information to then be displayed on index.html. Since anyone can view the source code for index.html and see how I'm calling the JSON web services (http://example.com/json/), how do I prevent people from calling my JSON web service directly? Since the web service is essentially an open read into my database, I don't want people to abuse the web service and start DoS my server, fetching more information than they should, etc..

I used selector gadget to find out the CSS and XPath I have the following code.. require 'rubygems' require 'nokogiri' require 'open-uri' url = "http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rss" doc = Nokogiri::HTML(open(url)) doc.xpath('//a').each do |paragraph| puts paragraph.text end When I extracted text from a normal HTML page with css, I could get the extracted text on the console. But when I try to do the same either with CSS or XPath for the RSS Feed for the following URL mentioned in the code above, I dont get any output. How do you extract text from RSS feeds?? I also have another silly question. Is there a way to extract text from 2 different feeds and display it on the console something like url1 = "http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rss" url2 = "http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/cricket/rss" Looking forward for your help and suggestions Thank You Gautam
