    HI, i have a table, new_id----old_id----created_on 1234------5678------20100912 5678------3456------20100808 etc. i wrote this query, $q = "select event1.new_id, event1.old_id, event1.created_on,event2.new_id, event2.old_id, event2.created_on FROM replaced_isbns event1 JOIN replaced_isbns event2 ON event2.new_id = event1.old_id WHERE event1.new_id='$id'"; but i get result as 5678 - 1234, ie only one row, i want all rows... plz help me.   • Using YQL and Jquery to check URL validity

    The answer in this post http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2119680/use-jquery-to-check-if-a-url-on-another-domain-is-404-or-not shows how to use YQL in Jquery to check if URL is valid or not. However, I can't get this to work for me. The only difference I can think of is that my URL is a text file (http://mycrossdomain.com/sometext.txt) and not HTML.I think the YQL query needs to be adjusted accordingly. Any help is appreciated.

    I'm passing query string parameter to .aspx page with 'Ñ' character in value. But Request.QueryString returns some other box '[]' character in return. I think this request encoding issue. and I do not want to use that HttpUtility.UrlDecode and HttpUtility.UrlEncode methods. Does anyone know how to solve this?

    I have a mysq query which gets including some vars like that: messages TABLE receiver cols user1 rows : 1,3,5 user2 rows : 2,3 user3 rows : 1,4 I want to get rows which includes '3' value. So I will get 'user1' and 'user2'. I tried that but naturally it doesn't work. mysql_query("SELECT * FROM messages WHERE receiver='3'"); How can I do this?

    Hello, I have a table containing last_updated_1 and last_updated_2 columns, used respectively for text and images update time on a post. I wish I could get a result set of 10 rows based on all time last updated records contained in the 2 columns, ex. row 1 = last_updated_1 record, row 2 = last_updated_2 record, row 3 = last_updated_1 record, etc. How could I compare inside a MySQL query the both columns values, to get unique & mixed result set ? What I'm having a small issue with is the final "," on my query This is what I have ColumnX, from I need to read the entire file, write out exactly what is in the file and just replace the last , before the from with nothing.     I'm trying to create a popup menu, where I can detect the mouse button that was pressed for a given item. I've created a custom QAction already to build my QMenu, but the triggered signal when the menu item is pressed doesn't provide a QMouseEvent for me to query the button pressed. Also, I'm setting the a status tip for each QAction, which appears in the status bar when I mouse over it, but it stays even after I close the QMenu. Is this normal behavior?
