  • Alter Table Filestream runs even if IF statement is false

    - by Allison
    I am writing a script to update a database to add Filestream capability. The script needs to be able to be run multiple times without erroring. This is what I currently have IF ((select count(*) from sys.columns a inner join sys.objects b on a.object_id = b.object_id inner join sys.default_constraints c on c.parent_object_id = a.object_id where a.name = 'evidence_data' and b.name='evidence' and c.name='DF__evidence_evidence_data') = 0) begin ALTER TABLE evidence SET ( FILESTREAM_ON = AnalysisFSGroup ) ALTER TABLE evidence ALTER COLUMN id ADD ROWGUIDCOL; end GO The first time I run this against the database it works fine. The second time when the if statement should be false it throws an error saying "Cannot add FILESTREAM filegroup or partition scheme since table 'evidence' has a FILESTREAM filegroup or partition scheme already." If I put a simple select into the if statement and take out the alter table filestream on line it functions correctly and does not perform the if statement. So esentially it is always running the alter table filestream on statement even if the if statement is false. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great. Thanks.

  • Jquery autocomplete webservices - what am i doing wrong??

    - by dzajdol
    I created a class for JSON responses: public class PostCodeJson { public String Text { get; private set; } public String Value { get; private set; } #region Constructors /// <summary> /// Empty constructor /// </summary> public PostCodeJson() { this.Text = String.Empty; this.Value = String.Empty; } /// <summary> /// Constructor /// </summary> /// <param name="_text"></param> /// <param name="_value"></param> public PostCodeJson(String _text, String _value) { this.Text = _text; this.Value = _value; } #endregion Constructors } and function returns list of this class using in webservices method: [WebMethod] public List<PostCodeJson> GetPostCodesCompletionListJson(String prefixText, Int32 count) { return LibDataAccess.DBServices.PostCodes.GetPostCodeJson(prefixText, count); } And in aspx i do this that: <script> $(document).ready(function() { $("#<%=pc.ClientID %>").autocomplete( baseUrl + "WebServices/Autocomplete.asmx/GetPostCodesCompletionListJson", { parse: function(data) { var array = new Array(); for (var i = 0; i < data.length; i++) { var datum = data[i]; var name = datum.Text; var display = name; array[array.length] = { data: datum, value: display, result: datum.Value }; } return array; }, dataType: "xml" }); }); </script> and when you enter something in the box i got an error: Request format is unrecognized for URL unexpectedly ending in '/GetPostCodesCompletionListJson What am I doing wrong??

  • Why are custom events not working for me? (Mootools)

    - by John McCollum
    I've been learning Mootools, but I'm having problems firing custom events. I'm sure it must be something simple, but I can't see it for the life of me. I wrote a simple class to nudge some list items using Fx.Tween. It works perfectly, except that the custom events aren't being triggered, no matter what I try. <script type="text/javascript"> var Pusher = new Class({ Implements: [Events,Options], options: { elements: [] }, initialize: function(options){ this.setOptions(options); this.attachListeners(this.options.elements); }, attachListeners: function(elements){ $$(elements).each(function(el){ $(el).addEvent('mouseover', this.pushIn.bind(el)) .addEvent('mouseout', this.pushOut.bind(el)); }, this); }, pushIn: function(){ this.fireEvent('in'); this.set('tween', {duration: 'short'}); this.tween('paddingLeft', '50px'); }, pushOut: function(){ this.fireEvent('out'); this.set('tween', {duration: 'short'}); this.tween('paddingLeft', '0px'); } }); window.addEvent('domready', function(){ var p = new Pusher({ elements: $$('li') }); p.addEvent('in', function(){ alert('in'); }); p.addEvent('out', function(){ alert('out'); }); }); </script> And in the HTML: <ul id="mylist"> <li>1</li> <li>2</li> <li>3</li> <li>4</li> </ul> I've also tried the following: window.addEvent('domready', function(){ var p = new Pusher({ elements: $$('li'), onIn: function(){ alert('in'); }, onOut: function(){ alert('out'); } }); }); What am I doing wrong?

  • Controlling the scope of a document.write call coming from a third party

    - by pingrey
    Dear all, I'm writing a webpage that relies on an external javascript file (that I have no control of), which returns data by using document.write's. Is there any way to dynamically call the function without it overwriting the whole document? The most concise code I can think of is below: <html> <head> <script type="text/javascript"> function horriblefunction () { document.write("new text"); } </script> </head> <body> Starting Text... <div id="pleasewriteinme"></div> Other text... <button onclick="horriblefunction();">Click</button> </body> </html> The idea beginning that without altering "horriblefunction()" (as it's external) the new text could be placed in the div instead of overwriting the page. Is this possible or does the function have to be called inside the div as the page is created? Thanks for you help

  • Triple Quotes? How do I delimit a databound Javascript string parameter in ASP.NET?

    - by David HAust
    How do I delimit a Javascript databound string parameter in an anchor OnClick event? I have an anchor tag in an ASP.NET Repeater control. The OnClick event of the anchor contains a call to a Javascript function. The Javascript funciton takes a string for it's input parameter. The string parameter is populated with a databound value from the Repeater. I need the 'double quotes' for the Container.DataItem. I need the 'single quotes' for the OnClick. And I still need one more delimiter (triple quotes?) for the input string parameter of the Javascript function call. Since I can't use 'single quotes' again, how do I ensure the Javascript function knows the input parameter is a string and not an integer? Without the extra quotes around the input string parameter, the Javascript function thinks I'm passing in an integer. Cheers in advance for any knowledge you can drop. The anchor: <a id="aShowHide" onclick='ToggleDisplay(<%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "JobCode") %>);' >Show/Hide</a> and here is the Javascript: <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">/* Shows/Hides the Jobs Div */ function ToggleDisplay(jobCode) { /* Each div has it's ID set dynamically ('d' plus the JobCode) */ var elem = document.getElementById('d' + jobCode); if (elem) { if (elem.style.display != 'block') { elem.style.display = 'block'; elem.style.visibility = 'visible'; } else { elem.style.display = 'none'; elem.style.visibility = 'hidden'; } } }</script>

  • Dynamically Resizing an Iframe

    - by regex
    Hello All, I can see that this question has been asked several times, but none of the proposed solutions seem to work for the site I am building, so I am reopening the thread. I am attempting to size an iframe based on the height of it's content. Both the page that contains the iframe and it's source page exist on the same domain. I have tried the proposed solutions in each of the following threads: Resize iframe height according to content height in it Resizing an iframe based on content I believe that the solutions above are not working because of when the reference to body.clientHeight is made, the browser has not actually determined the height of the document. Here is the code I am using: var ifmBlue = document.getElementById("ifmBlue"); ifmBlue.onload = resizeIframe; function resizeIframe() { var ifmBlue = document.getElementById("ifmBluePill"); var ifmDiv = ifmBlue.contentDocument.getElementById("main"); var height = ifmDiv.clientHeight; ifmBlue.style.height = (ifmBlue.contentDocument.body.scrollHeight || ifmBlue.contentDocument.body.offsetHeight || ifmBlue.contentDocument.body.parentNode.clientHeight || height || 500) + 5 + 'px'; } If I debug the script using fire debug, the client height of the iframe.contentDocument's main div is 0. Additionally, body.offsetHieght, & body.scrollHeight are 0. However, after the script is finished running, if I inspect the DOM of the HTML iframe element (using fire debug) I can see that the body's clientHeight is 456 and the inner div's clientHeight is 742. This leads me to believe that these values are not yet set when iframe.onload is fired. So, per one of the threads above, I moved the code into the body.onload event handler of the iframe's source page. This solution also did not work. Any help you can provide is much appreciated. Thanks, CJ

  • Access a view inside a tab navigator when a tab is clicked

    - by magnus.lassi
    Hi, I I have a view in Flex 3 where I use a tab navigator and a number of views inside the tab navigator. I need to be know which view was clicked because of it's one specific view then I need to take action, i.e. if view with id "secondTab" is clicked then do something. I have set it up to be notified, my problem is that I need to be able to know what view it is. Calling tab.GetChildByName or a similar method seems to only get me back a TabSkin object. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <mx:VBox xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" width="100%" height="100%" xmlns:local="*" creationComplete="onCreationComplete(event)"> <mx:Script> <![CDATA[ import mx.events.FlexEvent; import mx.controls.Button; protected function onCreationComplete(event:Event):void { for(var i:int = 0; i < myTN.getChildren().length; i++) { var tab:Button = myTN.getTabAt(i); tab.addEventListener(FlexEvent.BUTTON_DOWN, tabClickHandler); } } private function tabClickHandler(event:FlexEvent):void { var tab:Button; if(event.currentTarget is Button) { tab = event.currentTarget as Button; // how do I access the actual view hosted in a tab that was clicked? } } ]]> </mx:Script> <mx:TabNavigator id="myTN"> <local:ProductListView id="firstTab" label="First Tab" width="100%" height="100%" /> <local:ProductListView id="secondTab" label="Second Tab" width="100%" height="100%" /> </mx:TabNavigator> </mx:VBox>

  • Python template engine

    - by jturo
    Hello there, Could it be possible if somebody could help me get started in writing a python template engine? I'm new to python and as I learn the language I've managed to write a little MVC framework running in its own light-weight-WSGI-like server. I've managed to write a script that finds and replaces keys for values: (Obviously this is not how my script is structured or implemented. this is just an example) from string import Template html = '<html>\n' html += ' <head>\n' html += ' <title>This is so Cool : In Controller HTML</title>\n' html += ' </head>\n' html += ' <body>\n' html += ' Home | <a href="/hi">Hi ${name}</a>\n' html += ' </body>\n' html += '<html>' Template(html).safe_substitute(dict(name = 'Arturo')) My next goal is to implement custom statements, modifiers, functions, etc (like 'for' loop) but i don't really know if i should use another module that i don't know about. I thought of regular expressions but i kind feel like that wouldn't be an efficient way of doing it Any help is appreciated, and i'm sure this will be of use to other people too. Thank you

  • jquery slideDown menu

    - by Elliott
    Hi, I have a link which once hovered over a box below slides down, once hover is removed it slides back up. I have it working almost to how I want, although in IE8 (Havent tested in other IE yet) the text in the box which slides down is not centerd. In firefox, when it slides down the corners are not smooth, but they are in IE. Live test here Code: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $('#nav_top').corners('5px'); $('#nav_bottom').hide(); $('#nav_bottom').corners(); $('#link').hover(function() { $('#nav_top').corners('10px top'); $('#nav_bottom').stop(true, true).slideDown(); $('#nav_bottom').slideDown("slow"); }, function () { $('#nav_bottom').slideUp("fast"); } ); }); </script> <div id="nav_top"> <a href="javascript:void(0);" id="link">Hover</a> <div id="nav_bottom"> <br />Stuff </div> </div> </div> Any advice, also is it better to use .hover or .mouseEnter / mouseLeave? Thanks

  • Python halts while iteratively processing my 1GB csv file

    - by Dan
    I have two files: metadata.csv: contains an ID, followed by vendor name, a filename, etc hashes.csv: contains an ID, followed by a hash The ID is essentially a foreign key of sorts, relating file metadata to its hash. I wrote this script to quickly extract out all hashes associated with a particular vendor. It craps out before it finishes processing hashes.csv stored_ids = [] # this file is about 1 MB entries = csv.reader(open(options.entries, "rb")) for row in entries: # row[2] is the vendor if row[2] == options.vendor: # row[0] is the ID stored_ids.append(row[0]) # this file is 1 GB hashes = open(options.hashes, "rb") # I iteratively read the file here, # just in case the csv module doesn't do this. for line in hashes: # not sure if stored_ids contains strings or ints here... # this probably isn't the problem though if line.split(",")[0] in stored_ids: # if its one of the IDs we're looking for, print the file and hash to STDOUT print "%s,%s" % (line.split(",")[2], line.split(",")[4]) hashes.close() This script gets about 2000 entries through hashes.csv before it halts. What am I doing wrong? I thought I was processing it line by line. ps. the csv files are the popular HashKeeper format and the files I am parsing are the NSRL hash sets. http://www.nsrl.nist.gov/Downloads.htm#converter UPDATE: working solution below. Thanks everyone who commented! entries = csv.reader(open(options.entries, "rb")) stored_ids = dict((row[0],1) for row in entries if row[2] == options.vendor) hashes = csv.reader(open(options.hashes, "rb")) matches = dict((row[2], row[4]) for row in hashes if row[0] in stored_ids) for k, v in matches.iteritems(): print "%s,%s" % (k, v)

  • jquery 'this' confusion

    - by Elliott
    Hi I have the code below, once the first (only) item in the menu is hovered over, the subtext should appear. I have used 'this' as I thought it should find the class with the "li" and then slideDown. This doesnt seem to work, although 'this' works for when you remove the hover, as it slides up (top part not the subtext). <body> <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $('li').hover(function() { $(this).stop(true, true).slideDown(); $(this).slideDown("slow"); }, function () { $(this).slideUp("fast"); } ); }); </script> <ul> <li class="hover"> <p><a href="#">Hover</a></p> <p class="subtext">Show More</p> </li> </ul> Any advice? • How can I optimize this or is there a better way to do it?(HTML Syntax Highlighter)

    - by Tanner
    Hello every one, I have made a HTML syntax highlighter in C# and it works great, but there's one problem. First off It runs pretty fast because it syntax highlights line by line, but when I paste more than one line of code or open a file I have to highlight the whole file which can take up to a minute for a file with only 150 lines of code. I tried just highlighting visible lines in the richtextbox but then when I try to scroll I can't it to highlight the new visible text. Here is my code:(note: I need to use regex so I can get the stuff in between < & characters) Highlight Whole File: public void AllMarkup() { int selectionstart = richTextBox1.SelectionStart; Regex rex = new Regex("<html>|</html>|<head.*?>|</head>|<body.*?>|</body>|<div.*?>|</div>|<span.*?>|</span>|<title.*?>|</title>|<style.*?>|</style>|<script.*?>|</script>|<link.*?/>|<meta.*?/>|<base.*?/>|<center.*?>|</center>|<a.*?>|</a>"); foreach (Match m in rex.Matches(richTextBox1.Text)) { richTextBox1.Select(m.Index, m.Value.Length); richTextBox1.SelectionColor = Color.Blue; richTextBox1.Select(selectionstart, -1); richTextBox1.SelectionColor = Color.Black; } richTextBox1.SelectionStart = selectionstart; } private void pasteToolStripMenuItem_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { try { LockWindowUpdate(richTextBox1.Handle);//Stops text from flashing flashing richTextBox1.Paste(); AllMarkup(); }finally { LockWindowUpdate(IntPtr.Zero); } } I want to know if there's a better way to highlight this and make it faster or if someone can help me make it highlight only the visible text. Please help. :) Thanks, Tanner.

  • matching an element's class to another element's ID, or *part* of another element's ID

    - by shecky
    hello again Such a simple concept but I'm struggling to express it ... apologies in advance for my verbosity. I have a container div with a class, e.g., ; I want to use that class to do two things: add a class (e.g., 'active') to the nav element whose ID matches the class of div#container (e.g., #nav-primary li# apples) add the same class to another element if part of this element's ID matches the class of #container (e.g., div#secondary-apples) I assume there's an .each() loop to check the primary nav's list items' IDs, and to check the div IDs of the secondary nav ... though the latter needs to have its prefix trimmed ... or should I say more simply if the secondary nav div IDs contain the class of div#container? I've tried a few variations of something like this: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $('#nav-primary li').each(function(){ var containerClass = $('#container').attr('class'); var secondaryID = $('#nav-primary li').attr('id'); // something like if ('#nav-primary li id' == (containerClass) { } // or should I first store a variable of the LI's ID and do something like this: if ( secondaryID == containerClass ) { } // and for the trickier part, how do I filter/trim the secondary nav div IDs, something like this: var secondaryNavID = $('#aux-left div[id ... something here to strip the 'secondary-' bit ... ]'); }); // end each }); // end doc.ready.func </script> The markup is, e.g.: ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Many thanks in advance for any suggestions, svs

Here is my HTML purifier code require_once '../../htmlpurifier/library/HTMLPurifier.auto.php'; $config = HTMLPurifier_Config::createDefault(); $config->set('Core.Encoding', 'UTF-8'); // replace with your encoding $config->set('HTML.Doctype', 'XHTML 1.0 Strict'); // replace with your doctype $purifier = new HTMLPurifier($config); $clean_html = $purifier->purify($dirty_html); Here is my PHP form submission code. if (isset($_POST['submitted'])) { // Handle the form. $mysqli = mysqli_connect("localhost", "root", "", "sitename"); $dbc = mysqli_query($mysqli,"SELECT users.*, profile.* FROM users INNER JOIN contact_info ON contact_info.user_id = users.user_id WHERE users.user_id=3"); $about_me = mysqli_real_escape_string($mysqli, $_POST['about_me']); $interests = mysqli_real_escape_string($mysqli, $_POST['interests']); if (mysqli_num_rows($dbc) == 0) { $mysqli = mysqli_connect("localhost", "root", "", "sitename"); $dbc = mysqli_query($mysqli,"INSERT INTO profile (user_id, about_me, interests) VALUES ('$user_id', '$about_me', '$interests')"); } if ($dbc == TRUE) { $dbc = mysqli_query($mysqli,"UPDATE profile SET about_me = '$about_me', interests = '$interests' WHERE user_id = '$user_id'"); echo '<p class="changes-saved">Your changes have been saved!</p>'; } if (!$dbc) { // There was an error...do something about it here... print mysqli_error($mysqli); return; } }

  • I write barely functional scripts that tend to not be resuable and make the baby jesus cry. Please h

    - by maxxpower
    I received a request to add around 100 users to a linux box the users are already in ldap so I can't just use newusers and point it at a text file. Another admin is taking care of the ldap piece so all I have to do is create all the home directories and chown them to the correct user once he adds the users to the box. creating the directories isn't a problem, but I'd like a more elegant script for chowning them to the correct user. what I have currently basically looks like chown -R testuser1 testgroup1 /home/tetsuser1; chown -R testuser2 testgroup2 /home/testgroup2; chown -R testsuser3 testgroup1 /home/testuser3 bascially I took the request that the user name and group name popped it into excel added a column of "chown -R" to the front, then added a column of "/", copied and pasted the username column after it and then added a column of ";" and dragged it down to the second to last row. Popped it into notepad ran some quick find and replaces and in less than a minute I have a completed request and a sad empty feeling. I know this was a really ghetto method and I'm trying to get away from using excel to avoid learning new scripting techniques so here's my real question. tl;dr I made 100 home directories and chowned them to the correct users, but it was ugly. Actual question below. You have a file named idlist that looks like this (only with say 1000 users and real usernames and groups) testuser1 testgroup1 testuser2 testgroup2 testuser3 testgroup1 write a script that creates home directories for all the users and chowns the created directories to the correct user and group. To make the directories I used the following(feel free to flame/correct me on this as well. ) var= 'cut -f1 -d" " idlist' (I used backticks not apostrophes around the cut command) mkdir $var

  • How do I add a comment to an image using jQuery

    - by marcamillion
    So I am trying to replicate Facebook's picture tagging functionality, and I have the functionality that onClick, a box is created and there is a comment box. Now the issue is that I want to be able to (without doing any back-end processing) take the input from the input field and add it in some form to the underlying image area that they have selected. I would also like to add a small image to that area, that shows that a comment is there. How do I do that? See the code below for what I have for the comment box: <script type="text/javascript"> $(function() { var tag_box = $("<div>").appendTo("body").css({ "width": "40px", "height":"40px", "border":"4px solid #000000", "position":"absolute", "display":"none", "padding":"15px" }); var comment_box = $("<form action='#'><input id='comment' type='text' name='comment' placeholder='Add comment'></form>").appendTo(tag_box).css({"position":"absolute"}); $("#image-wrapper").live('click', function(e){ tag_box.css({ "left": e.pageX - 40, "top": e.pageY - 40, "display": "block" }) .after(comment_box.css({ "left": e.pageX - 65, "top": e.pageY + 40 })); }); }); </script> Now...whenever the user presses enter, the info in the comment box is appended to the URL like so: .html?comment=comment value# Thanks

  • ASP.NET SQLMembership Provider not logging in

    - by cfdev9
    My web app uses the sql memebership provider. Running it locally all is well, deploying to a dev server it works fine too in firefox, but in IE8 something unexpected is happening. Once a user logs in they're supposed to be redirected to home.aspx. What's happening when I attempt to login is it appears to accept the login credentials but then doesn't redirect to home.aspx. Instead it just redirects me to the login page as though I had attempted to access home.aspx directly without being logged in. The url parameter ReturnUrl is appended, Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fhome.aspx Why is this only happening with IE8? My local PC is IIS7 but the server is IIS6. Using the same web.config Full code behind public partial class Login : System.Web.UI.Page { protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { if (!IsPostBack) { Session.Abandon(); FormsAuthentication.SignOut(); } } protected void btnSubmit_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { if (Membership.ValidateUser(tbUsername.Text, tbPassword.Text)) { if (Request.QueryString["ReturnUrl"] != null) { FormsAuthentication.RedirectFromLoginPage(tbUsername.Text, false); } else { FormsAuthentication.SetAuthCookie(tbUsername.Text, false); Response.Redirect("~/Home.aspx"); } } } } Full web.config • parseInt and viewflipper layout problems

    - by user1234167
    I have a problem with parseInt it throws the error: unable to parse 'null' as integer. My view flipper is also not working. Hopefully this is an easy enough question. Here is my activity: import javax.xml.parsers.SAXParser; import javax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory; import org.xml.sax.InputSource; import org.xml.sax.XMLReader; import android.app.Activity; import android.graphics.Color; import android.os.Bundle; import android.util.Log; import android.view.View; import android.view.View.OnClickListener; import android.widget.Button; import android.widget.LinearLayout; import android.widget.TextView; import android.widget.ViewFlipper; import xml.parser.dataset; public class XmlParserActivity extends Activity implements OnClickListener { private final String MY_DEBUG_TAG = "WeatherForcaster"; // private dataset myDataSet; private LinearLayout layout; private int temp= 0; /** Called when the activity is first created. */ //the ViewSwitcher private Button btn; private ViewFlipper flip; // private TextView tv; @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); layout=(LinearLayout)findViewById(R.id.linearlayout1); btn=(Button)findViewById(R.id.btn); btn.setOnClickListener(this); flip=(ViewFlipper)findViewById(R.id.flip); //when a view is displayed flip.setInAnimation(this,android.R.anim.fade_in); //when a view disappears flip.setOutAnimation(this, android.R.anim.fade_out); // String postcode = null; // public String getPostcode { // return postcode; // } //URL newUrl = c; // myweather.setText(c.toString()); /* Create a new TextView to display the parsingresult later. */ TextView tv = new TextView(this); // run(0); //WeatherApplicationActivity postcode = new WeatherApplicationActivity(); try { /* Create a URL we want to load some xml-data from. */ URL url = new URL("http://new.myweather2.com/developer/forecast.ashx?uac=gcV3ynNdoV&output=xml&query=G41"); //String url = new String("http://new.myweather2.com/developer/forecast.ashx?uac=gcV3ynNdoV&output=xml&query="+WeatherApplicationActivity.postcode ); //URL url = new URL(url); //url.toString( ); //myString(url.toString() + WeatherApplicationActivity.getString(postcode)); // url + WeatherApplicationActivity.getString(postcode); /* Get a SAXParser from the SAXPArserFactory. */ SAXParserFactory spf = SAXParserFactory.newInstance(); SAXParser sp = spf.newSAXParser(); /* Get the XMLReader of the SAXParser we created. */ XMLReader xr = sp.getXMLReader(); /* Create a new ContentHandler and apply it to the XML-Reader*/ handler myHandler = new handler(); xr.setContentHandler(myHandler); /* Parse the xml-data from our URL. */ xr.parse(new InputSource(url.openStream())); /* Parsing has finished. */ /* Our ExampleHandler now provides the parsed data to us. */ dataset parsedDataSet = myHandler.getParsedData(); /* Set the result to be displayed in our GUI. */ tv.setText(parsedDataSet.toString()); } catch (Exception e) { /* Display any Error to the GUI. */ tv.setText("Error: " + e.getMessage()); Log.e(MY_DEBUG_TAG, "WeatherQueryError", e); } temp = Integer.parseInt(xml.parser.dataset.getTemp()); if(temp <0){ //layout.setBackgroundColor(Color.BLUE); //layout.setBackgroundColor(getResources().getColor(R.color.silver)); findViewById(R.id.flip).setBackgroundColor(Color.BLUE); } else if(temp > 0 && temp < 9) { //layout.setBackgroundColor(Color.GREEN); //layout.setBackgroundColor(getResources().getColor(R.color.silver)); findViewById(R.id.flip).setBackgroundColor(Color.GREEN); } else { //layout.setBackgroundColor(Color.YELLOW); //layout.setBackgroundColor(getResources().getColor(R.color.silver)); findViewById(R.id.flip).setBackgroundColor(Color.YELLOW); } /* Display the TextView. */ this.setContentView(tv); } @Override public void onClick(View arg0) { // TODO Auto-generated method stub onClick(View arg0) { // TODO Auto-generated method stub flip.showNext(); //specify flipping interval //flip.setFlipInterval(1000); //flip.startFlipping(); } } this is my dataset: package xml.parser; public class dataset { static String temp = null; // private int extractedInt = 0; public static String getTemp() { return temp; } public void setTemp(String temp) { this.temp = temp; } this is my handler: public void characters(char ch[], int start, int length) { if(this.in_temp){ String setTemp = new String(ch, start, length); // myParsedDataSet.setTempUnit(new String(ch, start, length)); // myParsedDataSet.setTemp; } the dataset and handler i only pasted the code that involves the temp as i no they r working when i take out the if statement.   • jquery png fix on hidden div and jquerybrowser question

    - by Jared
    Hello, I have some code that if Javascript is available, it will remove a GIF image and replace it with a PNG image. The PNG is display:none and the GIF is visible. Since IE6- browsers can't load PNG, I have loaded the jquery PNG fix. But it only seems to work if the image is already visible. The other issue is I am trying to get the jquery.browser function to apply to less than version 6, and I am not having much luck. <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function(){ $("#gif").hide(); jQuery.each(jQuery.browser, function(i, val) { if($.browser.msie && jQuery.browser.version <="6"){ $("#png").show(); $('.png').pngFix() }else{ $("#png").fadeIn("slow"); } }); }); </script> HTML <img class="png" id="png" src="images/main_elements/one-2-flush-it-campus-challenge.png" style="display:none;" /> <img id="gif" src="images/main_elements/one-2-flush-it-campus-challenge.gif"/>
