• PHP best practices for naming conventions

  I recently started these naming conventions.. all functions & variables = camelCase constants with define() = ALL_CAPS_AND_UNDERSCORES Now I see a lot of other people mix up camelCase and underscores and they seem to have some sort of convention to it... What do you use and what is best? I've heard that public and private functions should have underscores before some.. I assume private have 2 underscores as in __construct() ? Thank you!

  Hi I upgraded an iPhone project from the 2.2.1 SDK to 3.0 SDK recently... And when I build the project I am getting the following warning: GCC 4.2 default deployment target 10.6.2 for architecture 'i386' and variant 'normal' is greater than the maximum value 10.6 for the Simulator - iPhone OS 3.1.2 SDK I have the iPhone OS Deployment target set to iPhone OS 3.0 Any idea what could be causing this 'warning' to show up.   I'm getting this error when starting anything that uses the Pango library. I'm using Kubuntu 9.10. I've done 'sudo apt-get --reinstall install' on libgtk* libcairo* libpango* and fontconfig, with no luck. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

  I'm having a bit of trouble getting the Audio player to work. Basically I want to initiate an mp3 player doing something like this <a href="path-to-my-audio.mp3" id="player" ></a> and then use the $f() call to initate the player. I've followed the instructions here (http://flowplayer.org/plugins/streaming/audio.html) This doesnt seem to be work and I'm not sure what's wrong because I'm able to play videos in this way.   Hi, I have this code written in .NET 4.0 using VS2010 Ultimate Beta 2: smtpClient.Send(mailMsg); smtpClient is a reference to SmtpClient (I have the relevant references added), and likewise for mailMsg (is MailMessage) - there are no errors stating anything like check for missing assemblies. However, I keep getting an error saying that I have the incorrect no of overloads, when SmtpClient takes either a MailMessage object or the To address, From address, Subject, etc. Why doesn't this code work? Totally confused. Thanks
