• Error after installing Django (supposed PATH or PYTHONPATH "error")

  Hi all, I guess this is a PATH/PYTHONPATH error, but my attempts failed so far to make django working. • SHBrowseForFolder, But With Textbox to Navigate

  I found all the code I need to make SHBrowseForFolder work in my application. But I hate that it forces you to do everything in the little folder window, without a text box to navigate by typing. In Windows, I know I commonly see a different folder browse dialog that does let me type folder names and use the other regular navigation keys to get around to select the desired folder (backspace, "..", Enter, and so on). Is there a different API call for that?

  I have this code: Category selectedCategory = (from c in DB.Category.Include("SubCategory") join a in DB.Accessory on c.AccCatUID equals a.Category.AccCatUID where a.AccUID == currentAccessory.AccUID select c).FirstOrDefault(); It works fine, selectedCategory gets populated as expected. BUT selectedCategory has a child table 'SubCategory' which does not get loaded even though there is the include there. It is not loaded until I do this: selectedCategory.SubCategory.Load(); Why do I have to call load explicitly in order to load the child table?

  In the project I am working I have deployed a SOAP server using Deployment Descriptors (WSDD) files. To do that a webserver (e.g tomcat, jetty) is started and then the following command is executed: java -cp %AXISCLASSPATH% org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient deploy.wsdd What I need is to skip the above command to avoid a call to the Axis AdminClient. Is it possible to deploy my webservice as war file? Note: A solution with JWS can't be used due to its limitations.

• May I open my own device driver twice simultanoiusly from a user program under Linux?

In my situation I would like to open my own device multiple times associating multiple file descriptors to it. The file operations of my device are all safe. Is there some part of Linux between the sys call open() and the point it calls the registered file operation .open() that is unsafe?

I am using javasound and have an AudioInputStream of format PCM_SIGNED 8000.0 Hz, 16 bit, stereo, 4 bytes/frame, little-endian Using AudioSystem.getAudioInputStream(target_format, original_stream) produces an 'IllegalArgumentException: Unsupported Conversion' when the target_format is PCM_SIGNED 8000.0 Hz, 16 bit, mono, 2 bytes/frame, little-endian Is it possible to convert this stream manually after every read() call? And if yes, how? In general, how can you compare two formats and tell if a conversion is possible?

• Error at lapack cgesv when matrix is not singular

  This is my first post. I usually ask classmates for help, but they have a lot of work now and I'm too desperate to figure this out on my own :). I am working on a project for school and I have come to a point where I need to solve a system of linear equations with complex numbers. I have decided to call lapack routine "cgesv" from c++. I use the c++ complex library to work with complex numbers. Problem is, when I call the routine, I get error code "2". From lapack documentation: INFO is INTEGER = 0: successful exit < 0: if INFO = -i, the i-th argument had an illegal value > 0: if INFO = i, U(i,i) is exactly zero. The factorization has been completed, but the factor U is exactly singular, so the solution could not be computed. Therefore, the element U(2, 2) should be zero, but it is not. This is how I declare the function: void cgesv_( int* N, int* NRHS, std::complex* A, int* lda, int* ipiv, std::complex* B, int* ldb, int* INFO ); This is how I use it: int *IPIV = new int[NA]; int INFO, NRHS = 1; std::complex<double> *aMatrix = new std::complex<double>[NA*NA]; for(int i=0; i<NA; i++){ for(int j=0; j<NA; j++){ aMatrix[j*NA+i] = A[i][j]; } } cgesv_( &NA, &NRHS, aMatrix, &NA, IPIV, B, &NB, &INFO ); And this is how the matrix looks like: (1,-160.85) (0,0.000306796) (0,-0) (0,-0) (0,-0) (0,0.000306796) (1,-40.213) (0,0.000306796) (0,-0) (0,-0) (0,-0) (0,0.000306796) (1,-0.000613592) (0,0.000306796) (0,-0) (0,-0) (0,-0) (0,0.000306796) (1,-40.213) (0,0.000306796) (0,-0) (0,-0) (0,-0) (0,0.000306796) (1,-160.85) I had to split the matrix colums, otherwise it did not format correctly. My first suspicion was that complex is not parsed correctly, but I have used lapack functions with complex numbers before this way. Any ideas?
