  • IIS 7.5 refuses to load 64-bit assembly - possible CAS problem?

    Hi, I just downloaded the Orchard CMS, opened it up in VS2008 and hit F5: Everything runs fine. I then created a website in IIS 7.5 and pointed it to the web project's directory and set up permissions correctly (I hope). I downloaded the 64-bit version System.Data.SQLite as suggested here: Orchard Work Item 14798 and here: SO: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Data.SQLite'. The site runs in Full Trust. When I point my browser to the site running through IIS I get Could not load file or assembly 'System.Data.SQLite, Version=1.0.65.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=db937bc2d44ff139' or one of its dependencies. Failed to grant minimum permission requests. I don't know much about Code Access Security (if that is even what's at play here), so I am at a loss here. What am I doing wrong / not understanding / not seeing? How do I provide appropriate permissions and to whom / what? Is there any hope of ever deploying this application to a hoster where I am only allowed to run in Medium Trust? Any help, pointers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. NOTE: the question is not why this initially worked when run through Cassini. The answer to that question is contained in the answer to the SO question referenced above.

  • PHP: Cookie only sent to http://www.xxx.com and NOT http://xxx.com

    Hi, I have a php login which sets 2 cookies once some one login. the problem is that if you login from : http://www.mydomain.com and you go to http://mydomain.com you will find your self not logged in, I think that's because the browser only send the cookies to the first syntax. It's only one domain, the difference is the www. before the domain name, so how to set cookies to the whole domain whatever there is www. or not ? Thanks

  • ValidateCredentials() returns FALSE on First Call but TRUE on Subsequent Calls

    I'm using the following code to authenticate users on my web service: using (PrincipalContext context = new PrincipalContext(ContextType.Domain, domain)) { return context.ValidateCredentials(userName, password); } The obstacle I'm running into is that the first call to ValidateCredentials() is returning false but subsequent calls return true. I placed a breakpoint at this line and in the Intermediate window I see the same results: first call returns false, second returns true, even though nothing was changed (by me) between calls. The 'domain' is String.Empty but I've also tried it with the actual domain name and get the same results. I'm not that versed in network administration so any help would be appreciated,

  • How to create an SaaS Application?

    I don't know how else to say it so I'm just going to explain my ideal scenario and hopefully you can explain to me how to implement it... I'm creating an application with the Zend Framework that will be hosted with DreamHost. The application will be hosted on its own domain (i.e. example-app.com). Basically, a user should be able to sign up, get their own domain sampleuser.example-app.com or example-app.com/sampleuser which points to, what looks like their own instance of the app, which is really a single instance serving up different content based on the url. Eventually, I want my users to be able to create their own domain (like foobar.com) that points to sampleuser.example-app.com, such that visitors to foobar.com don't notice that the site is really being served up from example-app.com. I don't know how to do most of that stuff. How does this process work? Do I need to do some funky stuff with Apache or can this be done with a third party host, like DreamHost? Update: Thanks for the advice! I've decided to bite the bullet and upgrade my hosting plan to utilize wildcard subdomains. It's cheaper than I was expecting! I also found out about domain reseller programs, like opensrs.com, that have their own API. I think using one of these APIs will be the solution to my domain registration issue.

  • iPhone app memory leak with UIImage animation? Problem testing on device

    I have an animation which works fine in the simulator but crashes on the device. I am getting the following error... Program received signal: “0”. The Debugger has exited due to signal 10 (SIGBUS) A bit of investigating suggests that the UIImages are not getting released and I have a memory leak. I am new to this so can someone tell me if this is the likely cause? If you could also tell me how to solve it then that would be amazing. The images are 480px x 480px and about 25kb each. My code is below...   • Cocos2D SpriteSheet animation problem, my number of frames is much larger.

    Hello, I am trying to use SpriteSheet to run an animation. My frames are of 320x480 in size each, So I am able to put max 6 frames on the texture image. But my animation consists of frame number ranging from 50 to 200 sometimes, and all are of size 320x480. But this much number of frames cannot be added on the Texture image as the size is restricted to 1024x1024. Is there any other approach I can try out. Can I play one animation after the other.And won't it be hampering the performance. Please, I need suggestions. Best, Vaibhav Tekam.

My persistence layer references my domain layer and contains my concrete repository implementations and nhibernate mappings. Currently my UI references my domain layer. My question : How do I use an IOC container to inject my concrete classes, in my persistence layer, into my domain layer? Does this meen that my UI should also reference my persistence layer?

  • Problem serving video to iPad from Mongrel 1.1.5 , RoR 2.0.2 on Mac OS 10.6.3 Server

    I am working off the Final Cut Server Integration sample provided by Apple that is a Rails app using 2.0.2 and runs on Mongrel 1.1.5. I can have a basic non-Ruby directory on my boot volume (Mac OS 10.6.3 Server) and can serve up video files just fine to iPad. However, when I drag the same video file into the 'public' area of the app running on -p 3000 it will not play on iPad, but will in Safari 4.0.5 desktop version. Images work fine so I know it's not a permissions issue. I'm getting the crossed-out play icon on iPad so it is not an issue of waiting on a large file to download before playing. I suspect it is a Mongrel/Snow Leopard issue but why would Safari on desktop work fine and not Safari iPad?     Hi, I have setup a Hadoop cluster containing 5 nodes on Amazon EC2. Now, when i login into the Master node and submit the following command bin/hadoop jar <program>.jar <arg1> <arg2> <path/to/input/file/on/S3> It throws the following errors (not at the same time.) The first error is thrown when i don't replace the slashes with '%2F' and the second is thrown when i replace them with '%2F': 1) Java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid hostname in URI S3://<ID>:<SECRETKEY>@<BUCKET>/<path-to-inputfile> 2) org.apache.hadoop.fs.S3.S3Exception: org.jets3t.service.S3ServiceException: S3 PUT failed for '/' XML Error Message: The request signature we calculated does not match the signature you provided. check your key and signing method. Note: 1)when i submitted jps to see what tasks were running on the Master, it just showed 1116 NameNode 1699 Jps 1180 JobTracker leaving DataNode and TaskTracker. 2)My Secret key contains two '/' (forward slashes). And i replace them with '%2F' in the S3 URI. PS: The program runs fine on EC2 when run on a single node. Its only when i launch a cluster, i run into issues related to copying data to/from S3 from/to HDFS. And, what does distcp do? Do i need to distribute the data even after i copy the data from S3 to HDFS?(I thought, HDFS took care of that internally) IF you could direct me to a link that explains running Map/reduce programs on a hadoop cluster using Amazon EC2/S3.     Hello. Background: I have an application that has to read from files on a network drive (Z:) This works great in my office domain, however it does not work on site (in a different domain). As far as I can tell the domain users and network drives are set in the same way, however I do not have access to users etc in the customers domain. When I couldn't access the network drive I figured I needed a token for a user.   • Too many parameters in MVC2 Controllers or IIS problem?

    I'm using a controller to call a stored procedure that requires 12 parameters. This works perfectly in debug mode locally (working against a remote database), but not when I publish it to my IIS 7 server. It complains about parameter #7, claiming it's not supplied with the URL. The URL call looks like this; http://localhost:50160/GetPlaces?minLat=-90&maxLat=90&minLng=-180&maxLng=180&minDate=0&maxDate=60000000&a=1&b=1&c=1&e=1&f=1&h=1 Does anyone have any idea what may be the cause of this? Any help would be very appreciated here.

  • Binary socket and policy file in Flex

    Hi, I'm trying to evaluate whether Flex can access binary sockets. Seems that there's a class calles Socket (flex.net package). The requirement is that Flex will connect to a server serving binary data. It will then subscribe to data and receive the feed which it will interpret and display as a chart. I've never worked with Flex, my experience lies with Java, so everything is new to me. So I'm trying to quickly set something simple up. The Java server expects the following: DataInputStream in = ..... byte cmd = in.readByte(); int size = in.readByte(); byte[] buf = new byte[size]; in.readFully(buf); ... do some stuff and send binary data in something like out.writeByte(1); out.writeInt(10000); ... etc... Flex, needs to connect to a localhost:6666 do the handshake and read data. I've modified the server to respond with: <?xml version="1.0"?> <!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM "/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd"> <cross-domain-policy> <site-control permitted-cross-domain-policies="master-only"/> <allow-access-from domain="192.168.110.1" to-ports="*" /> </cross-domain-policy> After that - EOFException happens on the server and that's it. So the question is, am I approaching whole streaming data issue wrong when it comes to Flex? Am I sending the policy file wrong? Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a good solid example of how to do it. It seems to me that Flex can do binary Client-Server application, but I personally lack some basic knowledge when doing it. I'm using Flex 3.5 in IntelliJ IDEA IDE. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

    I'm getting such an headache trying to elaborate an appropriate algorithm to go from a START position to a EXIT position in a maze. Also, if the agent arrives with a remaining energy of zero or less, he dies, so we print something like "Impossible". So, in the input 10 is the initial agent's energy, 3 4 is the START position (i.e. column 3, line 4) and we have a maze 7x6. Think this as a kind of labyrinth, in which I want to find the exit that gives the agent a better remaining energy (shortest path). In case there are paths which lead to the same remaining energy, we choose the one which has the small number of steps, of course. I need to know if a DFS to a maze 500x500 in the worst case is feasible with these limitations and how to do it, storing the remaining energy in each step and the number of steps taken so far. The output means the agent arrived with remaining energy= 5 to the exit pos 1 4 in 2 steps. If we look carefully, in this maze it's also possible to exit at pos 3 1 (column 3, row 1) with the same energy but with 3 steps, so we choose the better one. With these in mind, can someone help me some code or pseudo-code? I have troubles working this around with a 2D array and how to store the remaining energy, the path (or number of steps taken)....
