  • Addthis: Sharing for unique items on page

    I am using addthis (addthis.com) to offer sharing on items listed on a page (stage.hverdagskupp.no). Since each item on the page is unique, I want the shared information to be unique as well. However, facebook and twitter only seems to allow global page information to be shared. Anyone knows how to define item specific sharing information with addthis, for facebook and twitter?

  • How to catch mousewheel up/down event using RaphaelJs

    I need to implement a horizontal scrollable timeline. I've drawn the timeline/grids/rulers etc. I just need to catch mousewheel up/down to scroll the timeline (backward - past/forward - future). First I need to catch the event: but nothing I've found seems to work. Need browser support only for chrome/firefox (latest versions).   • CSS: achieving TWO-WAY infinite scroll with mouse drag

    Hi, I'm trying to create an infinite scroll component. I'm using this site as a tutorial, but it seems that I can only get the infinite scroll on one way, because when I add elements to the leftmost side, the scrollLeft property auto-adjusts thus the page gets a quirky scroll, jumping instead of making a smooth movement. Is there any way of achieving infinite scroll both-ways? I don't plan to use scrolling buttons, just mouse drag for moving the scroll view.

  • Is the Angular templateCache shared between apps? Is it persistent?

    If I have two Angular apps that run on the same domain, will/can they share data in the templateCache? Or is the cache unique to each main application module? In general I'm trying to understand what dictates when a new templateCache is created. Furthermore I'm not clear on whether or in what way the templateCache is persistent? Looking in local storage and cookies, I don't see where anything is getting stored.

  • Parsing prototype AJAX.response XML in IE

    Hi I have an xml webservice which I'm fetching using PrototypeJS. The xml has the correct content type and is well-formed, and looks like this: <GetTokenResponse xmlns="http://tempuri.org/"> <GetTokenResult>F655100D64F098F0AC33AFF414A4A0D5</GetTokenResult> </GetTokenResponse> The AJAX request is completing successfully, and I can access the GetTokenResult node in both IE and FF but can only get the text content of the node in FF. My code is below: node = transport.responseXML.documentElement.getElementsByTagName('GetTokenResult')[0]; rawToken = (document.all) ? node.innerText : node.textContent; I've tried innerText and innerHTML, as well as children[0] and a few other chance guesses but IE returns 'undefined' when I access rawToken.   • Web Workers - Transferable Objects for JSON

    HTML 5 Web workers are very slow when using worker.postMessage on a large JSON object. I'm trying to figure out how to transfer a JSON Object to a web worker - using the 'Transferable Objects' types in Chrome, in order to increase the speed of this. Here is what I'm referring to and appears it should speed this up quite a bit: http://updates.html5rocks.com/2011/12/Transferable-Objects-Lightning-Fast I'm having trouble finding a good example of this (and I don't believe I want to use an ArrayBuffer). Any help would be appreciated.   • Flash not interacting with Javascripts in browser inside my app

    Hi , I have an application which embeds a xulrunner based browser. I have to load some flash content in it which talks to some javascripts to update the browser title. The flash content works fine when launched from Firefox but not inside my app. I tried a sample html file which has some javascripts and they work fine. It even works when I have the flash content on a server. It is only when I try to run js through flash present on my local machine that I see this problem. I guess it must have something to do with some security settings in xulrunner. Could somebody help me figure out what the problem might be? Thanks jbsp72

    I have this code: $li = $("li", this) Which is selecting all of the li's in my code. This works fine however I want $li to exclude the li's that are within a submenu. <ul id="navigation"> <li><a href="#">blah 1</a></li> <ul id="subnav"> <li><a href="#">sub 1</a></li> <li><a href="#">sub 2</a></li> <li><a href="#">sub 3</a></li> </ul> </li> <li><a href="#">blah 2</a></li> <li><a href="#">blah 3</a></li> <li><a href="#">blah 4</a></li> <li><a href="#">blah 5</a></li> </ul> So $li would only reference the blah's not the sub's. I thought it was something like: $li = $("li", this).parents() But this doesn't do what I want.

  • Script files returning 404 Error.

    Hi, I'm using ASP.Net and whenever I create a script file or try to include a script file like jQuery they aren't working. I am doing just a regular localhost server and none of the scripts are working. Upon further examination using firebug I look at whats being referenced in those scripts and it shows html code for a 404 error. I know the scripts and files are there and I can navigate directly to them in the browser but for some reason I can't reference them in my page. Here is a screenshot:

    I'm trying to convince a page that it is the window.top even though it is in an iframe. In FF you can do window.defineGetter('top', function() { return window}); in Webkit (Safari/Chrome) you can simply do window.top = window but in IE none of those methods work. Anyone done this before?

  • Capture reload/endrequest event after server redirect to download file

    Inside a webpage I have an Excel download button, which redirects to a webpage that serves the requested Excel file via the application/ms-excel MIME type, which usually results in a file download in the browser. In the webpage, I have the following jQuery code: $(document).ready(function () { $(".div-export .button").click(function () { setBusy(true); }); Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_endRequest(function () { setBusy(false); }); }); Which displays a busy animation while the user waits for the Excel file to be served. Problem is: The animation doesn't end (setBusy(false);) after the file download, because the endRequest event doesn't get fired, probably because of the server redirect. Does anyone have a workaround for this? Edit: The download button is handled in an UpdatePanel.

Means that using the ability of javascript to check whether one of them is downloaded on the target User (Web Browser), if not then use jQuery from my own website otherwise if true then use that version of JQuery that is downloaded on the target User.
