  Hello everyone, When we met with such error message from store procedure, Message 1205, Level 13, State 52, the process Pr_FooV2, Line 9 Services (Process ID 111) and another process is deadlock in the lock | communication buffer resources, and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction. I am wondering whether such messages are stored in log files? I searched log folder of my SQL Server 2008 installation root (in my environment, it is C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Log), but can not find such files. thanks in avdance, George

• R segfault when running via Rpy on linux

  I'm running R via Rpy on a redhat linux distribution. Periodically I'll encounter this error message: *** caught segfault *** address (nil), cause 'unknown' And the entire program dies right there. It usually occurs when I run a lot of regression r.lm(). But by simply running the identical code again, the problem may or may not go away (so not always reproduceable). Does anyone know what might be causing this, and/or how I can prevent it from happening?

  I've already figured out how to add a menu item to the right click context menu of the windows explorer using the registry. I currently have it set to launch my application when my menu item is clicked. However, I want to know if there is a way to know what file is was right clicked on.   Hi! I'm learning C right now and so I'm fiddling about with pointers. Is there a way to determine the word width of the CPU in C because I'm writing a small program which prints it's own stack (Because I'm curious how it is structured), so that information would come in handy.
