  I need some help with my code here...What we are trying to do is make a compiler that will read a file containing Machine Code and converting it to 100 lines of 4 bits example: this code is the machine code being converting to opcode and operands. • Oracle VM repository creation seems contradictory to its server pool?

  I found something contradictory in Oracle VM. Clustered server pool creation in Oracle VM would format my FC LUN as ocfs2 , and start o2cb & ocfs2 services to build cluster environment. After that, when I wanted to create repository on the serverpool, unexpectedly, it told me that the physical disk I chose which is also my FC LUN, already contains a file system. What a contradictory! So what, delete the file system in serverpool? If so, why created it before?! • Word 2010 Crashing

  We have an office with all users using the same spec'ed PCs with the same Image deployed to them, so that the software and configuration is identical. I have one user whos keeps having the install of MS Word 2010 crash intermittently. First i reinstalled Office 2010 Suite, but will have the crashes. The PC has been replaced with a clean install of Windows and Office but we are still having the issues with Word crashing. We have had the user to log onto another PC which we know to be working fine, but again, Word keeps crashing. • Dell VRTX - slow cluster shared storage

  I have a brand new Dell VRTX box set up as a Failover Cluster running HA Hyper-V virtual machines. This is my first time setting up clustering, and my first time with one of these boxes, so I'm sure I've missed something. The virtual machines are experiencing high disk latency and bad performance when accessing their VHD(x) files located on a Cluster Shared Volume. The VRTX has 10 x 900 GB 10K SAS drives in RAID 6 configuration, and the VRTX has the redundant Shared PERC 8 controllers. Both blades have full access to the virtual disks. There are two M520 blades installed, each with 128 GB RAM. MPIO is configured for the PERC 8 controllers. Operating system on the blades is Server 2012 (NOT R2). The RAID 6 array is split into a small (8 GB) volume for cluster quorum witness and a large (6.5 TB) volume for a Cluster Shared Volume (mounted on the nodes as C:\ClusterStorage\Volume1) An example of slow disk access: logging into a Server 2012 VM and having Server Manager come up automatically. Disk access goes to 100%, with write speeds at 20 MB or so, read speeds of 500 KB or so, and Average Response Time of over 1000 ms, sometimes spiking at 4000-5000 ms or so. It's the latency that really worries me. Is there something specific I should look at in my configuration? It doesn't seem to matter whether I use VHD or VHDX, dynamic or static.

• rpmbuild on Cent OS 6: "cpio: bad magic"

  When I try to run this command : rpmbuild -bb SPECS/software.spec I get an error when the WAR file (as in tomcat java web archive file) is being added to the rpm: error: create archive failed on file /<filepath>/<filename>.war: cpio: Bad magic This didn't use to happen. The only things that have changed since this worked was an upgrade. Further, no problems are happening like it on my CentOS 5 box. I compile and build the exact same code set on both machines, but CentOS 6 won't create an rpm. How do I troubleshoot this? I have already googled it and received few (if any) useful links. This appears nowhere in the user guide for RPM as far as I can see, and Maximum RPM has no section on this.

  Hi, I am trying to get Oauth working with the Google API using Python. I have tried different oauth libraries such as oauth, oauth2 and djanog-oauth but I cannot get it to work (including the provided examples). For debugging Oauth I use Google's Oauth Playground and I have studied the API and the Oauth documentation With some libraries I am struggling with getting a right signature, with other libraries I am struggling with converting the request token to an authorized token. What would really help me if someone can show me a working example for the Google API using one of the above-mentioned libraries. EDIT: My initial question did not lead to any answers so I have added my code. There are two possible causes of this code not working: 1) Google does not authorize my request token, but not quite sure how to detect this 2) THe signature for the access token is invalid but then I would like to know which oauth parameters Google is expecting as I am able to generate a proper signature in the first phase. • Yum update not working on CentOS 6.2 minimal install

I have installed a CentOS 6.2 KVM guest and I am having problem getting yum to work. This is my first time working with CentOS so I feel that it's a setting somewhere that I am missing but cannot find using google.   The boring, necessary details: I'm on Snow Leopard running MySQL locally. I'm trying to install the Sphinx engine for MySQL like so: mysql> install plugin sphinx soname 'sphinx.so'; ERROR 1127 (HY000): Can't find symbol '_mysql_plugin_interface_version_' in library I've Googled everywhere and can't seem to find an actual solution to this problem. For example this issue on the Sphinx forums seems unresolved. Someone else also raised this issue with similar results. The first post linked to an O'Reilly article which says: There is a common problem that might occur at this point: ERROR 1127 (HY000): Can't find symbol '_mysql_plugin_interface_version_' in library If you see a message like this, it is likely that you forgot to include the -DMYSQL_DYNAMIC_PLUGIN option when compiling the plugin. Adding this option to the g++ compile line is required to create a dynamically loadable plug-in. But the article ends on that point; I have no idea what this means or how to resolve the issue.

• MVC2 and MVC Futures causing RedirectToAction issues

  I've been trying to get the strongly typed version of RedirectToAction from the MVC Futures project to work, but I've been getting no where. Below are the steps I've followed, and the errors I've encountered. Any help is much appreciated. I created a new MVC2 app and changed the About action on the HomeController to redirect to the Index page. Return RedirectToAction("Index") However, I wanted to use the strongly typed extensions, so I downloaded the MVC Futures from CodePlex and added a reference to Microsoft.Web.Mvc to my project. I addded the following "import" statement to the top of HomeContoller.vb Imports Microsoft.Web.Mvc I commented out the above RedirectToAction and added the following line: Return RedirectToAction(Of HomeController)(Function(c) c.Index()) So far, so good. However, I noticed if I uncomment out the first (non Generic) RedirectToAction, it was now causing the following compile error: Error 1 Overload resolution failed because no accessible 'RedirectToAction' can be called with these arguments: Extension method 'Public Function RedirectToAction(Of TController)(action As System.Linq.Expressions.Expression(Of System.Action(Of TController))) As System.Web.Mvc.RedirectToRouteResult' defined in 'Microsoft.Web.Mvc.ControllerExtensions': Data type(s) of the type parameter(s) cannot be inferred from these arguments. Specifying the data type(s) explicitly might correct this error. Becuase I thought this might be some VB issue, I created a new MVC2 project using C# and tried the same as above. I added the following "using" statement to the top of HomeController.cs using Microsoft.Web.Mvc; This time, in the About action method, I could only manage to call the non-generic RedirectToAction by typing the full commmand as follows: return Microsoft.Web.Mvc.ControllerExtensions.RedirectToAction<HomeController>(this, c => c.Index()); Even though I had a "using" statement at the top of the class, if I tried to call the non-generic RedirectToAction as follows: return RedirectToAction<HomeController>(c => c.Index()); I would get the following compile error: Error 1 The non-generic method 'System.Web.Mvc.Controller.RedirectToAction(string)' cannot be used with type arguments What gives? It's not like I'm trying to do anything out of the ordinary. It's a simple vanilla MVC2 project with only a reference to the Futures assembly. I'm hoping that I've missed out something obvious, but I've been scratching my head for too long, so I figured I'd seek some assisstance. If anyone's managed to get this simple scenario working (in VB and/or C#) could they please let me know what, if anything, they did differently? Thanks!

• Uninstall mysql completely windows 7

  Greetings, I understand that this questions has been asked twice. However the answer is not there. I've removed all mysql in registry via regedit that I could find. I made programdata folder visible, deleted mysql folder that's there. Windows 7 doesn't have a very good 'grep' equivalent that I could use. I tried using powershell to find any hidden files but it requires digital signatures which I do not know how to create. Besides windows restore, is there any other way I can force my old 'invisible' mysql 5.1.40 to disappear? I want to try and install mysql via other ways, I'm not sure how to use cmake though to compile the code.

  I'm trying to get Eclipse to compile and run a HelloWorld class but it can't even do that. I have installed Eclipse x86 SDK 4.2.0 together bit with the latest JRE and JDK both in 64 bit as well. I also have the PATH variables set to respond to command prompts. When I try to run the following code: class HelloWorld { public static void main(String[] args) { System.out.println("Hello World!" ) ; } } And it returns the following error: Exception occurred executing command line. • How to truncate milliseconds off of a .NET DateTime

  I'm trying to compare a time stamp from an incoming request to a database stored value. SQL Server of course keeps some precision of milliseconds on the time, and when read into a .NET DateTime, it includes those milliseconds. The incoming request to the system, however, does not offer that precision, so I need to simply drop the milliseconds. I feel like I'm missing something obvious, but I haven't found an elegant way to do it (C#).

• How to tune down the Hyperic built-in postgresql database for a small setup

  We are testing out Hyperic 4.5.1 in a quite small environment for now. Currently there are just 1-5 agents and there probably won't be any more than 10-15. When I run ps ax there are 20(!) postgres processes running. For a small setup like this, that can't be necessary, can it? I'm a software developer and don't have much experience with setting up servers and such though, so don't really know. Either way, what settings are appropriate for a small Hyperic setup like this?   I set up BACS (Broadcom Teaming) to team two NIC on a Windows 2003 Active Directory Domain Controller. Networking still works okay, I can ping the gateway etc, but both DNS and Active Directory fail to start with various 40xx errors. The team that I created is Smart load Balancing with Failover, with one backup and only one in smart load balancing (So really it is just failover). I have the team the same IP address that the single active NIC had before. Anyone seen this before, or have any ideas what the problem might be?   Hello all, I have a ASPxGridView with DetailRow in this row there are three additional ASPxGridViews. Each detail ASPxGridView contains EmptyDataRow templates with link to create a new row: <a href="javascript:gridViewDetails1.AddNewRow();">AddNewRecord</a> When master ASPxGridView rows is 1 or 2 then new rows in detail grids adding fine, but if in master ASPxGridView rows about 10 or more then when I clicking on detail grids link to add new row the loading panel appers for unlimited time and FireBug-Net shows that status of POST is timeout and time is about 1 sec. How can I repair it? • Pre-compiled Iperf 2.x binary for win32?

  I'd like to do some network testing on Windows using Iperf. The latest on sourceforge appears to be 2.0.4. However, it's only available as source to be compiled. I attempted to do some google searching for a pre-compiled version, but all I could find were some links to 1.x stuff. Admittedly, the 1.x version I found does seem to work and I could likely continue using it without issue. But I've got the itch that says I need the latest version and setting up a build VM and dealing with inevitable compile issues doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun. So I figured I'd ask here if anyone knows where to find pre-compiled Iperf 2.x binaries for Windows.

  Hi everybody, I use a SQLite database and Entity Framework (with .net framework 3.5). I'm trying to execute a simple SQL non query command to create a new table in this datase. My Entity Framework already contains the object model for this table : I just want to generate the corresponding table using a command. (By the way, there is maybe a better way to do this. • Mac OS X Server (10.5) mail trapped in queue

  We've got mail accumulating in our Leopard Server's queue and not sure exactly why. This machine has required little maintenance over the years so I'm hoping someone here spot the obvious and save us some time. Let me know what other information would be helfull. Server appears to be functioning normally except for "clogged" queue and the following error associated with each "trapped" message: Looking at messages in the queue each one states something like this: Message ID: 4213C3B8B3F Date: October 27, 2009 11:33:27 AM Size: 1824 Sender: [email protected] Recipient(s) & Status: ---------------------- [email protected]: connect to 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]: Connection refused Under SettingsRelay we have checked Accept SMTP relays only from these hosts and networks: 127.0.0.0/8 10.0.1.0/24 The mail in queue is addressed to users whose accounts are on this server. Mail.app on the client appears to be functioning normally and checking checking mail on the server. We did add a virtual domain some time ago but all that was working fine for some time... This just started happening recently...any ideas? Edit: toggling the filter services on and off seems to have fixed this except for 2 remaining queued messages that show "mail transport unavailable" as an error!?!

• What is the difference between "ORA-12571: TNS packet writer failure" and "ORA-03135: connection los

  I am working in an environment where we get production issues from time to time related to Oracle connections. We use ODP.NET from ASP.NET applications, and we suspect the firewall closes connections that have been in the connection pool too long. Sometimes we get an "ORA-12571: TNS packet writer failure" error, and sometimes we get "ORA-03135: connection lost contact." I was wondering if someone has run into this and/or has an understanding of the difference between the 2 errors.
