• SMTP service to send email on my web application

  I've been using gmail's SMTP server to send email (notifications, password reminder, etc) in my web application. However, i'm getting to the point where i'm reaching the limit of 500 sent emails per day using gmail's SMTP. Is there any SMTP service's that I can use instead? A friend told me about sendgrid.com, but that's the only one i've heard of.

  Hi all, I did developed a custom SharePoint Web Service . It is working fine when using http. But when we configure SSL(https) , it is not working and throwing the below error. Can i have 2 org.apache.cxf.transport.servlet.CXFServlet servlet in the same web.xml and each servlet serve one endpoint so that i have endpoint1 at http:/locahost/app/endpoint1 and endpoint2 at http:/locahost/app/endpoint2 .   Hi, I just deployed a web application on JBOSS 4.2. It can be accessed locally only (http://localhost:8080/myApp). I cant access it from remote computer by typing its domain: (www.hostname.com:8080/myApp). I added Port 8080 as Exception in Windows Firewall. Note that the host (www.hostname.com) is reachable from remote computers via IIS on port 80. Thanks, Rod

• VS2010 setting open files to read only on save

  I'm editing a Visual Studio 2010 web application. When saving changes to a code-behind file, the file becomes read only in the editor for 1-2 minutes. Closing and re-opening the file makes it editable again. As I save quite frequently, this can be a pain. Has anyone else run into this issue, and know any work-arounds?
