Could someone help me? PS: if i run the bundle inside ECLIPSE it works perfectly. I generate the bundles with maven.

  Hi I am using asp.net mvc 2.0(default binding model) and I have this problem.   I'm trying to unit test a controller, but can't figure out how to pass some extra parameters to the routeMatch object. • (static initialization order?!) problems with factory pattern

  Why does following code raise an exception (in createObjects call to map::at) alternativly the code (and its output) can be viewed here intererestingly the code works as expected if the commented lines are uncommented with both microsoft and gcc compiler (see here), this even works with initMap as ordinary static variable instead of static getter. The only reason for this i can think of is that the order of initialization of the static registerHelper_ object (factory_helper_)and the std::map object (initMap) are wrong, however i cant see how that could happen, because the map object is constructed on first usage and thats in factory_helper_ constructor, so everything should be alright shouldnt it ? I am even more suprised that those doNothing() lines fix the issue, because that call to doNothing() would happen after the critical section (which currently fails) is passed anyway. • C++ template function specialization using TCHAR on Visual Studio 2005

  I'm writing a logging class that uses a templatized operator<< function. I'm specializing the template function on wide-character string so that I can do some wide-to-narrow translation before writing the log message. I can't get TCHAR to work properly - it doesn't use the specialization. Ideas? • A very strange problem related to Flash and Java

  Hello, I have created one simple program for showing webcam of the user. It works absolutely fine when i am running without integrating it in my java web application. But as soon as i copy paste the same files in Netbeans 6.8 and try to run it. My swf file is visible but the buttons in it are totally unclickable. I get the message of allow or deny showing webcam but the buttons are not clickable. It makes my application totally useless. I thought it's a minor issue but now it's getting on my nerves. I am trying it since 3 hours but didn't find any solution. I don't think anybody faced this issue till now that's why can't seem to find any thread in any forum on it in google. I am using Netbeans 6.8, Ubuntu, Glassfish V3 and JSF. Thanks in advance :). UPDATE:- It works fine on Windows XP. Then what can be the problem with Ubuntu? Any kind of permission rights that i need to give? 2nd UPDATE:- I think this is bug with Flash. I want it to be 600px width and 500px height. Even the style attribute doesn't work. Can i set height and width from within Flash? because without explicitly setting height and width, it looks very small. I think this should be very easy for all now. Thanks in advance :)

• Make wix installation set upgrade to same folder

  How can I make a major upgrade to an installation set (MSI) built with Wix install into the same folder as the original installation? The installation is correctly detected as an upgrade, but the directory selection screen is still shown and with the default value (not necessarily the current installation folder). Do I have to do manual work like saving the installation folder in a registry key upon first installing and then read this key upon upgrade? If so, is there any example? Or is there some easier way to achieve this in MSI / Wix? • Is HttpContextWrapper all that....useful?

  I've been going through the process of cleaning up our controller code to make each action as testable. Generally speaking, this hasn't been too difficult--where we have opportunity to use a fixed object, like say FormsAuthentication, we generally introduce some form of wrapper as appropriate and be on our merry way. For reasons not particularly germaine to this conversation, when it came to dealing with usage of HttpContext, we decided to use the newly created HttpContextWrapper class rather than inventing something homegrown. One thing we did introduce was the ability to swap in a HttpContextWrapper (like say, for unit testing). This was wholly inspired by the way Oren Eini handles unit testing with DateTimes (see article, a pattern we also use) public static class FooHttpContext { public static Func<HttpContextWrapper> Current = () => new HttpContextWrapper(HttpContext.Current); public static void Reset() { Current = () => new HttpContextWrapper(HttpContext.Current); } } Nothing particularly fancy. And it works just fine in our controller code. The kicker came when we go to write unit tests. We're using Moq as our mocking framework, but alas var context = new Mock<HttpContextWrapper>() breaks since HttpContextWrapper doesn't have a parameterless ctor. And what does it take as a ctor parameter? A HttpContext object. So I find myself in a catch 22. I'm using the prescribed way to decouple HttpContext--but I can't mock a value in because the original HttpContext object was sealed and therefore difficult to test. I can map HttpContextBase, which both derive from--but that doesn't really get me what I'm after. Am I just missing the point somewhere with regard to HttpContextWrapper? I can find ways to work around the issue, but we are kind of fond of remaining consistent in decoupling using the Function delegate pattern--but it seems like we're not fully grokking intent of the wrapper.

• MSTest project can't get localized string?

  I ran into a strange problem. In my unit test, I want to check the localized strings. However, I can't seem to get it work. For example, I created two resources: Resource1.resx for English and Resource1.zh-CN.resx for Chinese. The unit test project can only get the (default?) English resource string. This is the code I'm using: ResourceManager actual = new ResourceManager(typeof(LocaleTest.Properties.Resource1)); string name0 = actual.GetString("Name", new CultureInfo("en-US")); string name1 = actual.GetString("Name", new CultureInfo("zh-CN")); I created another regular project (means not a MSTest project) to make sure the localized strings are working. So, it works in a regular project, but not in a MSTest project. It didn't help even if I put the following code to make 'zh-CN' as the current culture of the unit test: [TestInitialize()] public void MyTestInitialize() { Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentCulture = new CultureInfo("zh-CN"); Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture = new CultureInfo("zh-CN"); } Anybody has seen similar problems? • Is there any better IDOMImplementation other than MSXML?

  There are 3 IDOMImplementation available in Delphi: MSXML Xerces XML ADOM XML v4 MSXML is the default IDOMImplementation. My test is count the time need to load a 10MB xml file. I use a Delphi unit generated from a XSD using XML data binding to load the xml file. This unit has 3 common function: function Getmenubar(Doc: IXMLDocument): IXMLMenubarType; function Loadmenubar(const FileName: WideString): IXMLMenubarType; function Newmenubar: IXMLMenubarType; I learn from the web that some comment that MSXML's overhead is high that it doesn't perform if compare to other XML parser. However, my study shows that MSXML is the best among others. Xerces XML 2nd and ADOM XML v4 the worst: MSXML - 0.6410 seconds Xerces XML - 2.4220 seconds ADOM XML v4 - 67.50 seconds I also come across with OmniXML that claim to have much better performance compare to MSXML but I never success using it with the unit generated by XML data binding. Is there any other vendor that implement IDOMImplementation of Delphi that work much better than MSXML? I am using Delphi 2010 and Windows 7.

  When i write a jQuery plugin i like to specify options for spacings the CSS way. I wrote a function that returns a CSS String as values in a object. 5px 10px returns top: 5px, right: 10px, bottom: 5px, left: 10px Now i often use the returned values to do some calculations and its not very nice to have to extract the measuring unit every time... • Adding a decal using multitexturing on an iPhone

  I'm trying to overlay one image on top of another onto a simple quad. I set my bottom image as texture unit 0, and then my top image (which has a variable alpha) as texture unit 1. Unit 2 has mode GL_DECAL, which means the bottom texture should show up when the alpha is 0, and the top texture should show when the alpha is 1. But, only the top texture shows up and the bottom one doesn't appear at all. It's just white where the bottom texture should show through. glGetError() doesn't report any problems. Any help is appreciated.   I'm trying to debug someone else's code and having trouble figuring out what's wrong. When I run rake, one of the errors I get is: 2) Error: test_math(TestRubyUnits): NoMethodError: undefined method `unit_sin' for CMath:Module /home/user/ruby-units/lib/ruby_units/math.rb:21:in `sin' This is the function that calls the method: assert_equal Math.sin(pi), Math.sin("180 deg".unit) And this is what the class looks like: module Math alias unit_sin sin def sin(n) Unit === n ? unit_sin(n.to('radian').scalar) : unit_sin(n) end alias unit_cos cos def cos(n) Unit === n ? unit_cos(n.to('radian').scalar) : unit_cos(n) end ... module_function :unit_sin module_function :sin module_function :unit_cos module_function :cos ... end (The ellipsis means "more of the same"). As far as I can see, this is valid Ruby code. Is there something I'm missing here that's causing the error, or could the error be coming from something else? Update: I'm wondering if the problem has to do with namespaces. This code is attempting to extend CMath, so perhaps the alias and/or module_function isn't actually getting into CMath, or something like that....

  Hi I have been trying to understand DDD for few weeks now. Its very confusing. I dont understand how I organise my projects. I have lot of questions on UnitOfWork, Repository, Associations and the list goes on... Lets take a simple example. Album and Tracks. Album: AlbumId, Name, ListOf Tracks Tracks: TrackId, Name Question1: Should i expose Tracks as a IList/IEnumerabe property on Album ? If that how do i add an album ? OR should i expose a ReadOnlyCollection of Tracks and expose a AddTrack method? Question2: How do i load Tracks for Album [assuming lazy loading]? should the getter check for null and then use a repository to load the tracks if need be? Question3: How do we organise the assemblies. Like what does each assembly have? Model.dll - does it only have the domain entities? Where do the repositories go? Interfaces and implementations both. Can i define IAlbumRepository in Model.dll? Infrastructure.dll : what shold this have? Question4: Where is unit of work defined? How do repository and unit of work communicate? [ or should they ] for example. if i need to add multiple tracks to album, again should this be defined as AddTrack on Album OR should there a method in the repository? Regardless of where the method is, how do I implement unit of work here? Question5: Should the UI use Infrastructure..dll or should there be ServiceLayer? Do my quesitons make sense? Regards

• Find all compilation errors in a Delphi project

  I am doing some refactoring of my Delphi project. I want to be able to make a change, then see all the places in the project that break due to that change. Similar to how Eclipse lists all the compile errors for a project (in Java). In Delphi, I can make a change, then recompile my project, but the compiler stops when it finds the first Unit that does not compile. I have to fix that Unit, compile again, which will then show me the next error, etc etc. I want to be able to see all the compile errors in the project at once. Then I can decide if the change is worth doing or not. For example, if the change will require hand fixing of 50 separate source files, it's not worth doing. But if it only breaks 2 files then that's an easy change to make. Is there any way to do this in Delphi? Can I tell the compiler to keep going even after finding a Unit that does not compile? I am using Delphi 2010

  Hello, I wished I paid more attention to the math classes back in Uni. :) How do I implement this math formula for naked triples? Naked Triples Take three cells C = {c1, c2, c3} that share a unit U. Take three numbers N = {n1, n2, n3}. If each cell in C has as its candidates ci ? N then we can remove all ni ? N from the other cells in U.** I have a method that takes a Unit (e.g. a Box, a row or a column) as parameter. The unit contains 9 cells, therefore I need to compare all combinations of 3 cells at a time that from the box, perhaps put them into a stack or collection for further calculation. Next step would be taking these 3-cell-combinations one by one and compare their candidates against 3 numbers. Again these 3 numbers can be any possible combination from 1 to 9. Thats all I need. But how would I do that? How many combinations would I get? Do I get 3 x 9 = 27 combinations for cells and then the same for numbers (N)? How would you solve this in classic C# loops? No Lambda expression please I am already confused enough :) Many Thanks for any help,
