  • Knowledge mining using Hadoop.

    Hello there, I want to do a project Hadoop and map reduce and present it as my graduation project. To this, I've given some thought,searched over the internet and came up with the idea of implementing some basic knowledge mining algorithms say on a social websites like Facebook or may stckoverflow, Quora etc and draw some statistical graphs, comparisons frequency distributions and other sort of important values.For searching purpose would it be wise to use Apache Solr ? I want know If such thing is feasible using the above mentioned tools, if so how should I build up on this little idea? Where can I learn about knowledge mining algorithms which are easy to implement using java and map reduce techniques? In case this is a wrong idea please suggest what else can otherwise be done on using Hadoop and other related sub-projects? Thank you

  • Buttons size not equal in IE and Firefox

    I have few buttons on my jsp page and I am using the style as : .buttonblue { background-color: #003366; border-color: #99CCFF; color: #FFFFFF; font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica; font-size: 8pt; font-weight: bold; height: 20px; display:inline; line-height: 1.2; text-align: center; margin-top: 2px; } In Firefox the buttons are bit smaller than IE6. I can not define the size of buttons as the caption changes the button size changes accordingly. I tried with width:auto but no success. Also, with overflow:visible the buttons in IE becomes bit smaller. Please help.

  • How do I get this validationTextBox to focus?

    After performing an ajax request if the input in the form was wrong I am trying to get this validatationTextBox to be focussed on and display an indicator message showing the problem. The code is: dijit.byId("passwordField").focusNode.focus() The form element is as mentioned a validationTextBox. The matter that is confusing me even further is that before in dojo 1.5, this piece of code was simply dijit.byId("passwordField").focus() and this worked fine. How can I fix this?

I mean to say that we have a single mac machine but 3 users can they access the same machine remotely at the same time for developing application on iPhone or Mac.     Hi, In my web app there is a page(ChildPage) which is actually contained in an iframe element of another page(ParentPage). This ChildPage has its contents placed in ContentPlaceHolder of a MasterPage. <div id="DivScroll" runat="server" style="overflow-y: auto; overflow-x: auto; width: 100%; height: 100%;"> <asp:ContentPlaceHolder ID="ContentPlaceHolder1" runat="server"> </asp:ContentPlaceHolder> </div> As apparent in the code, contents of ChildPage are scrollable in the div containing it. There is never the need for the scroll bars of browser to appear and it is working this way till IE7. In IE8 browser scrollbras are appearing due to the presence of the following div in ChildPage. <div class="ReadOnlyFlat" id="Div1" style="z-index: 100; visibility: hidden; overflow: auto; width: 100%; position: absolute; height: 300px" runat="server" ms_positioning="FlowLayout"> <radA:RadAjaxPanel ID="RadAjaxPanelA" EnableOutsideScripts="True" runat="server"> <radT:RadTreeView ID="RadTreeView2" TabIndex="1" runat="server" Skin="web20"> <NodeTemplate> <asp:Label ID="Label2" runat="server">Label</asp:Label> <asp:Label ID="Label4" runat="server" Width="10px"></asp:Label> <asp:Label ID="Label3" runat="server" ForeColor="#FF8000" Font-Bold="True">Label</asp:Label> </NodeTemplate> </radT:RadTreeView> </radA:RadAjaxPanel> What actually happens in IE8 is as follows: The above div Div1 is diaplyed on the click of an ImageButton. On the page load this ImageButton is present on the bottom of the page. In this case IE8 shows browser's vertical scrollbar due to height of Div1. When I scroll DivScroll shown in first code snippet, the ImageButton moves up. When the ImageButton is moved sufficiently up so that it is above the bottommost part of page by more than 300px(i.e, the height of Div1) and if I click the ImageButton, the browser's vertical scrollbars disappear. Browser's vertical scrollbar appears in case the distance between ImageButton and the bottom most part of page is less than height of Div1 and disappears when the distance is more than height of Div1. I need that the browser's vertical scrollbar never appears. Please Help.

  • Not able to access UNC share after doing the Imperosnation

    We have to access a network UNC share which is say allowing access to USER1. Our exe is running with LOCAL SYSTEM account. In the exe, we do Impersonation with "USER1" credentials so that exe can access UNC share. But after doing the impersonation, we are still getting error "Access denied" while accessing that UNC share. After the impersonation, we are enabling following privileges on the Impersonated thread: SE_BACKUP_NAME SE_CHANGE_NOTIFY_NAME SE_CREATE_GLOBAL_NAME SE_DEBUG_NAME SE_IMPERSONATE_NAME SE_RESTORE_NAME SE_SECURITY_NAME SE_TAKE_OWNERSHIP_NAME SE_TCB_NAME Do we need to enable any other privileges or we are missing something else?     I need to unpack air file, update it and repack it. Can anybody please help me in this regard? In java, for jar file we can use winrar utlity for this kind. Please suggest how can we do for air.Is there any utility for adobe air. I tried with winzip/winrar. I changed its extension to .zip file and opened it in winzip and winrar.
