    I have a desktop forms application . I want to fetch any flash file embedded from a given html page. I used this approach: parse the html page(using htmlagilitypack) to get hold of direct url of any embedded flash, then fetch the file. But this approach wouldn't work if relative paths are used. How else can a flash file embedded in an html page be downloaded ? ty

  • VS2010 Database Compare. How do you create a *.DBSchema extensioned file?

    I'd like to take a snapshot of my database, make some changes and then use the db compare functionality to identify the changes, and who knows, maybe even generate scripts to make the change. I'd like to avoid having to backup the current db and restore it as a separate db just to have a "before" snapshot. I'm guessing I shouldn't have to. Obsviously, I'm clueless about db projects and am looking to be pointed in the right direction. ty!

    In MVC app, I am having this big object that is used in classic view/edit/create pattern. When user edits the object I save it as: public bool SetMyObject(MyObject newObject) { MyObject current = GetObjectById(newObject.Id); current.Prop1 = newObject.Prop1 ... current.PropN = newObject.PropN db.SaveChanges(); } MyObject is pretty big so I am wondering is there any better way to do this, not involving per-property assignments.     I work with Magento applications, and i'm on kind of situation: When user load some stores that have mutch information/jquery need lot of server process, if the user refresh the store mutch times pressing F5 the server get too mutch slow and difficult to use the store. I need prevent this F5 'hack' slow my server, what i can do?? I think some kind of javascript/php solution. But i want you opnion. Ty all in advance.

    From my understanding, gluLookAt( eye_x, eye_y, eye_z, center_x, center_y, center_z, up_x, up_y, up_z ); is equivalent to: glRotatef(B, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0); glRotatef(A, wx, wy, wz); glTranslatef(-eye_x, -eye_y, -eye_z); But when I print out the ModelView matrix, the call to glTranslatef() doesn't seem to work properly.     I have an install of Bugzilla I'm trying to implement SSL on. When I go into the parameters screen and edit SSLBASE adding in the full url: https://foo.com/bugzilla/ the editparams.cgi times out on loading and I have the following error in the apache log [Tue Mar 30 19:29:39 2010] [error] [client xxx.xx.xx.xx ] (70007)The timeout specified has expired: ap_content_length_filter: apr_bucket_read() failed, referer: http://foo.com/bugzilla/editparams.cgi On install I also received this error: WARNING: You need to set the max_allowed_packet parameter in your MySQL configuration to at least 3276750. Currently it is set to 3275776. You can set this parameter in the [mysqld] section of your MySQL configuration file. How can I force this to work? Editing other parameters (eg urlbase) work fine. The SSL site is setup and direct requests to it eg https://foo.com/bugzilla work correctly. Any ideas? Ty

    Hi there I'm using Pinnacle Studio 12 to edit some videos and as you can guess it use a lot of resources. The problem is that it eats all my free space from the C drive and after i close the application i don;t get back my free space. I assume it does some swap files but where and why it doesn't delete them? I don't store the project and saved files on C drive. I'm running Pinnacle Studio 12 on a XP sp3 Windows machine. I've tried to clean my system with CClean, but it doesn't find/see where my space is lost! TY

  • Firewall software that can block access to certain applications on certain internet connections

    I have two internet connections, a LAN and a 3G modem on a Windows 7 machine. The LAN is connected to a Edimax router which is conneted to the ISP (with their own modem). Now, the Edimax router is set to auto assign IP adresses in the range: 168.192.2.100 and 192.168.2.200 I wanted to block internet explorer to access the LAN. I entered my AVG firewall, selected iexplorer and added a "block" rule which blocked all ports, TCP and UDP protocols for the above IP range. The problem is it did not work, not matter what rules I have tried. Can you recommend a firewall that can easily accomplish this? Ty

    I need to find the shortest distance direction from one point in my 2D world to another point where the edges are wrapped (like asteroids etc). I know how to find the shortest distance but am struggling to find which direction it's in. I've shown a wrapped repeat of the world at the top right too. I want to find the direction in degrees from S to T. So the shortest distance is to the top right repeat of T. but how do I calculate the direction in degreed from S to the repeated T in the top right? I know the positions of both S and T but I suppose I need to find the position of the repeated T however there more than 1. The worlds coordinates system starts at 0,0 at the top left and 0 degrees for the direction could start at West. It seems like this shouldn’t be too hard but I haven’t been able to work out a solution. I hope somone can help? Any websites would be appreciated.

  • Building own kernel on ubuntu

    Hi, I'm trying to build my own kernel, as I want to write a kernel program which I need to compile into the kernel. So what did I do? Download from kernel.org, extract, do the make menuconfig and configure everything as needed, do a make, do a make modules_install, do a make install and finally do a update-grub. Result: It doesn't boot at all.... Now I had a look here and it describes a different way of compiling a kernel. Could this be the reason whz my way did not work? Or does anyone else have an idea why my kernel doesn't work? ######## Edit Great answer, ty. Oli.
