  • ea: import requirements from csv file

    - by bolekprez
During import requirements from csv file I have a message: Bad object type when creating new record of type '' File I was trying to import: GUID$Name$Notes$Scope {BF467CF6-FF97-4dd4-894C-3F09E713678C}$NameOfReq$description$Public {71B26F9A-5418-499e-B635-F2DB158D3FF1}$Requirement1$$Public {0}$Requir1$blah$Public First 2 (+header) lines becomes from existing requirements and there is no problem with import. Last line should create a new object of requirement in enterprise architect, but there is a message mentioned above. Any solution? How should proper file to create (import from csv file) a new requirements look like?

  • Need Google Map InfoWindow Hyperlink to Open Content in Overlay (Fusion Table Usage)

    - by McKev
I have the following code established to render the map in my site. When the map is clicked, the info window pops up with a bunch of content including a hyperlink to open up a website with a form in it. I would like to utilize a function like fancybox to open up this link "form" in an overlay. I have read that fancybox doesn't support calling the function from within an iframe, and was wondering if there was a way to pass the link data to the DOM and trigger the fancybox (or another overlay option) in another way? Maybe a callback trick - any tips would be much appreciated! <style> #map-canvas { width:850px; height:600px; } </style> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?sensor=true"></script> <script src="http://gmaps-utility-gis.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/fusiontips/src/fusiontips.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> var map; var tableid = "1nDFsxuYxr54viD_fuH7fGm1QRZRdcxFKbSwwRjk"; var layer; var initialLocation; var browserSupportFlag = new Boolean(); var uscenter = new google.maps.LatLng(37.6970, -91.8096); function initialize() { map = new google.maps.Map(document.getElementById('map-canvas'), { zoom: 4, mapTypeId: google.maps.MapTypeId.ROADMAP }); layer = new google.maps.FusionTablesLayer({ query: { select: "'Geometry'", from: tableid }, map: map }); //http://gmaps-utility-gis.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/fusiontips/docs/reference.html layer.enableMapTips({ select: "'Contact Name','Contact Title','Contact Location','Contact Phone'", from: tableid, geometryColumn: 'Geometry', suppressMapTips: false, delay: 500, tolerance: 8 }); ; // Try W3C Geolocation (Preferred) if(navigator.geolocation) { browserSupportFlag = true; navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition(function(position) { initialLocation = new google.maps.LatLng(position.coords.latitude,position.coords.longitude); map.setCenter(initialLocation); //Custom Marker var pinColor = "A83C0A"; var pinImage = new google.maps.MarkerImage("http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?chst=d_map_pin_letter&chld=%E2%80%A2|" + pinColor, new google.maps.Size(21, 34), new google.maps.Point(0,0), new google.maps.Point(10, 34)); var pinShadow = new google.maps.MarkerImage("http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?chst=d_map_pin_shadow", new google.maps.Size(40, 37), new google.maps.Point(0, 0), new google.maps.Point(12, 35)); new google.maps.Marker({ position: initialLocation, map: map, icon: pinImage, shadow: pinShadow }); }, function() { handleNoGeolocation(browserSupportFlag); }); } // Browser doesn't support Geolocation else { browserSupportFlag = false; handleNoGeolocation(browserSupportFlag); } function handleNoGeolocation(errorFlag) { if (errorFlag == true) { //Geolocation service failed initialLocation = uscenter; } else { //Browser doesn't support geolocation initialLocation = uscenter; } map.setCenter(initialLocation); } } google.maps.event.addDomListener(window, 'load', initialize); </script>

  • Inserting into an Associative array?

    - by RedShft
I'm playing around with associative arrays right now and I can't seem to figure out how to add additional objects to the array. I tried insert but it doesn't recognize both arguments. Also, if I do this it produces an error: Node[bool] test; Node node; Node[bool] temp = [ false:node ]; test ~= temp; //Error 1 Error: cannot append type Node[bool] to type //Node[bool] C:\Users\CP\Documents\Visual Studio //2010\Projects\D\STDS\NPC.d 256 Does this mean you can't use the append operator on associative arrays ?

  • How do I implement .net plugins without using AppDomains?

    - by Abtin Forouzandeh
Problem statement: Implement a plug-in system that allows the associated assemblies to be overwritten (avoid file locking). In .Net, specific assemblies may not be unloaded, only entire AppDomains may be unloaded. I'm posting this because when I was trying to solve the problem, every solution made reference to using multiple AppDomains. Multiple AppDomains are very hard to implement correctly, even when architected at the start of a project. Also, AppDomains didn't work for me because I needed to transfer Type across domains as a setting for Speech Server worfklow's InvokeWorkflow activity. Unfortunately, sending a type across domains causes the assembly to be injected into the local AppDomain. Also, this is relevant to IIS. IIS has a Shadow Copy setting that allows an executing assembly to be overwritten while its loaded into memory. The problem is that (at least under XP, didnt test on production 2003 servers) when you programmatically load an assembly, the shadow copy doesnt work (because you are loading the DLL, not IIS).

  • Enumeration classes in Java

    - by Crystal
I have one class that declares an enumeration type as: public enum HOME_LOAN_TERMS {FIFTEEN_YEAR, THIRTY_YEAR}; Is this type usable in another class? I'm basically trying to complete a homework assignment where we have two types of loans, and one loanManager class. When I try to use the HOME_LOAN_TERMS.THIRTY_YEAR in my loanManager class that does not extend or implement the loan class, I get an error saying it 'cannot find symbol HOME_LOAN_TERMS.' So I did not know if my loanManager class needed to implement the two different loan classes. Thanks.

  • Silverlight Cascading Combobox

    - by lidermin
Hi, I have an issue trying to implement cascading comboboxes on Silverlight 3. I have two comboboxes: Product Type Sub Cathegory The user need to select the Product type, and based on his selection, the second combobox must load the sub cathegories. Binding the first combobox is a piece of cake: <ComboBox x:Name="cmbProductType" Margin="11,2,8,5" MaxDropDownHeight="100" Grid.Column="1 /> cmbProductType.ItemsSource = objFactory.ProductTypes; objFactory.Load(objFactory.GetProductTypesQuery()); My issue is trying to load the second combobox based on the first seleccion. I tryied to implement the SelectionChanged event on the first combobox, but it didn't worked for me: private void cmbProductType_SelectionChanged(object sender, System.Windows.Controls.SelectionChangedEventArgs e) { FactoryDS objFactory = new FactoryDS(); cmbSubCat.ItemsSource = objFactMetas.Campos; objFactory.Load(objFactory.GetSubCathegoryQuery(((SybCathegroy)cmbProductType.SelectedItem).Id)); } How should I do this? (I'm new on Silverlight). thanks in advance.

  • expand div with focus-jquery

    - by Joel
    Hi guys, I'm revisiting this after a few weeks, because I could never get it to work before, and hoping to now. Please look at this website-notice the newsletter signup form at the top right. http://www.rattletree.com I am wanting it to look exactly this way for now, but when the user clicks in the box to enter their email address, the containing div will expand (or simply appear) above the email field to also include a "name" and "city" field. I'm using jquery liberally in the sight, so that is at my disposal. This form is in the header so any id info, etc can't be withing the body tag... This is what I have so far: <div class="outeremailcontainer"> <div id="emailcontainer"> <?php include('verify.php'); ?> <form action="index_success.php" method="post" id="sendEmail" class="email"> <h3 class="register2">Newsletter Signup:</h3> <ul class="forms email"> <li class="email"><label for="emailFrom">Email: </label> <input type="text" name="emailFrom" class="info" id="emailFrom" value="<?= $_POST['emailFrom']; ?>" /> <?php if(isset($emailFromError)) echo '<span class="error">'.$emailFromError.'</span>'; ?> </li> <li class="buttons email"> <button type="submit" id="submit">Send</button> <input type="hidden" name="submitted" id="submitted" value="true" /> </li> </ul> </form> <div class="clearing"> </div> </div> css: p.emailbox{ text-align:center; margin:0; } p.emailbox:first-letter { font-size: 120%; font-weight: bold; } .outeremailcontainer { height:60px; width: 275px; background-image:url(/images/feather_email2.jpg); /*background-color:#fff;*/ text-align:center; /* margin:-50px 281px 0 auto ; */ float:right; position:relative; z-index:1; } form.email{ position:relative; } #emailcontainer { margin:0; padding: 0 auto; z-index:1000; display:block; position:relative; } Thanks for any help! • How might one implement FileTimeToSystemTime?

    - by Billy ONeal
Hello :) I'm writing a simple wrapper around the Win32 FILETIME structure. boost::datetime has most of what I want, except I need whatever date type I end up using to interpolate with Windows APIs without issues. To that end, I've decided to write my own things for doing this -- most of the operations aren't all that complicated. I'm implementing the TimeSpan - like type at this point, but I'm unsure how I'd implement FileTimeToSystemTime. I could just use the system's built-in FileTimeToSystemTime function, except FileTimeToSystemTime cannot handle negative dates -- I need to be able to represent something like "-12 seconds". How should something like this be implemented? Billy3

  • Postgesql select from 2 tables. Joins?

    - by Daniel
    I have 2 tables that look like this: Table "public.phone_lists" Column | Type | Modifiers ----------+-------------------+-------------------------------------------------------------------- id | integer | not null default nextval(('"phone_lists_id_seq"'::text)::regclass) list_id | integer | not null sequence | integer | not null phone | character varying | name | character varying | and Table "public.email_lists" Column | Type | Modifiers ---------+-------------------+-------------------------------------------------------------------- id | integer | not null default nextval(('"email_lists_id_seq"'::text)::regclass) list_id | integer | not null email | character varying | I'm trying to get the list_id, phone, and emails out of the tables in one table. I'm looking for an output like: list_id | phone | email ---------+-------------+-------------------------------- 0 | | [email protected] 0 | | [email protected] 0 | | [email protected] 0 | | [email protected] 0 | | [email protected] 1 | 15555555555 | 1 | 15555551806 | 1 | 15555555508 | 1 | 15055555506 | 1 | 15055555558 | 1 | | [email protected] 1 | | [email protected] I've come up with select pl.list_id, pl.phone, el.email from phone_lists as pl left join email_lists as el using (list_id); but thats not quite right. Any suggestions?

  • A c# Generics question involving Controllers and Repositories

    - by UpTheCreek
I have a base repository class which contains all the common repository methods (as generic): public abstract class BaseRepository<T, IdType> : IBaseRepository<T, IdType> My repositories from this base e.g.: public class UserRepository : BaseRepository<User, int>, IUserRepository I also have a base controller class containing common actions, and inherit from this in controllers. The repository is injected into this by DI. E.g. public class UserController : BaseController<User> { private readonly IUserRepository userRepository; public UserController (IUserRepository userRepository) { this.userRepository= userRepository; } My question is this: The base controller needs to be able to access the repository methods that are defined in the base repository. However I'm passing in via DI a different repository type for each controller (even though they all inherrit from the base repository). How can the base controller somehow access the repository that is passed in (regardless of what type it is), so that it can access the common base methods?

  • Visual Studio - how to create two projects using the same sources

    - by mack369
My solution consists of 2 executable projects and a couple dlls. Project1 is a Smart Device Project, Project2 is a Windows Forms Project. Both projects use the same libraries, the reason of that is I want to test my libraries on PC before I deploy it on the device. The problem is that the DLL project type can be Smart Device Class Library or Class Library, not both. I cannot add a reference from SD project to WF and vice versa. I was able to add reference from SD project to a dll file (generated from Class Library project) instead of the project itself, but for some reason I got the message "cannot load XXX type from YYY assembly". It doesn't depend on my code, because when I created separate project for the same sources, everything was fine. The only solution I've found is to create 2 types of projects for each library, but I don't know how to make 2 projects based on the same sources.

  • C# dependency injection - how to you inject a dependency without source?

    - by Phil Harris
Hi, I am trying to get started with some simple dependency injection using C# and i've run up against an issue that I can't seem to come up with an answer for. I have a class that was written by another department for which I don't have the source in my project. I wanted to inject an object of this type though a constructor using an interface, but of course, i can't change the injected objects implementation to implement the interface to achieve polymorphism when casting the object to the interface type. Every academic example I have ever seen of this technique has the classes uses classes which are declared in the project itself. How would I go about injecting my dependency without the source being available in the project? I hope that makes sense, thanks.

  • Exporting DataTable using FileHelpers

    - by Dat
I want to export the contents of a DataTable to a text delimited file using FileHelpers, is this possible? Here is what I have so far: // dt is a DataTable with Rows in it DelimitedClassBuilder cb = new DelimitedClassBuilder("MyClassName", "|", dt); Type t = cb.CreateRecordClass(); FileHelperEngine engine = new FileHelperEngine(t); I have to convert the contents of dt to an array of type "MyClassName" but I'm not sure how to do that? I know there is a FileDataLink class but none of them work with DataTable (or even a DataSet).

  • getResourceAsStream returns HttpInputStream not of the entire file

    - by khue
Hi, I am having a web application with an applet which will copy a file packed witht the applet to the client machine. When I deploy it to webserver and use: InputStream in = getClass().getResourceAsStream("filename") ; The in.available() always return a size of 8192 bytes for every file I tried, which means the file is corrupted when it is copied to the client computer. The InputStream is of type HttpInputStream (sun.net.protocol.http.HttpUrlConnection$httpInputStream). But while I test applet in applet viewer, the files are copied fine, with the InputStream returned is of type BufferedInputStream, which has the file's byte sizes. I guess that when getResourceStream in file system the BufferedInputStream will be used and when at http protocol, HttpInputStream will be used. How will I copy the file completely, is there a size limited for HttpInputStream? Thanks a lot.

  • interfacing: simplified

    - by code wombat
i've been doing some research on interfaces and a simple layman's explanation for what it truly is. For some reason people love using overly complex explanations and jargon to explain truly simple concepts (guess it makes them feel big) and i have a gut feeling it's the same in this case. so from what i could grasp, it seems like interfaces are nothing more than a way to reserve method names, their return type if any, and the type and amount of arguments they accept. so when a class implements an interface (or interfaces) it is forced to define the body of each method from the interface(s). Am i on the nose with this one or do i need to keep digging? p.s. i know javascript doesn't have support for interfaces, but i still need to understand the concept because there are quite a few places where it's shown how to emulate to an extent.

  • XML jQuery Problem

    - by Llamabomber
This code for parsing my xml and appending via jquery seems to work great in every browser but Chrome (Mac only, the windows version of chrome works fine) and explorer. I'm not aware of any glaring issues in the code so I thought some fresh eyes might help. Anyone know what could be causing IE and Chrome on the mac to not append? <script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"> $(document).ready(function() { $.ajax({ type: "GET", url: "sitenav.xml", dataType: "xml", success: parseXml }); function parseXml(xml) { $(xml).find("GoogleAnalytics").each(function() { $("li#google_analytics").append('<ul><li>' + $(this).find("NavHeader").text() + '</li></ul>'); }); } }); </script>

  • asp.net and Visual studio root directory question

    - by Mark Kadlec
I am seeing something very odd and thought I would ask the Stackoverflow community if they knew the answer. I have an asp.net project that runs fine in one environment, but couldn't figure out what happened to the styles in another environment. In the first environment (Windows 2008 Server), the following link worked fine: <link href="/Styles/09/style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> but in the other environment (it's a Windows 7), I had to change it to work: <link href="../Styles/09/style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> Notice that the directories seemed to shift ahead one directory in the Win7, what's going on? It's like the "running" directory seems now be the \bin directory instead of the home! Which environment is configured correctly? How do I determine execution directory level? My concern going forward is pushing to a prod environment and guessing which configuration is correct. Any insight would be appreciated!

  • match "//" comments with regex but not inside a quote

    - by Wireless102
I need to match and replace some comments. for example: $test = "the url is http://www.google.com";// comment "<-- that quote needs to be matched I want to match the comments outside of the quotes, and replace any "'s in the comments with &quot;'s. I have tried a number of patterns and different ways of running them but with no luck. The regex will be run with javascript to match php "//" comments UPDATE: I took the regex from borkweb below and modified it. used a function from http://ejohn.org/blog/search-and-dont-replace/ and came up with this: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html> <head> <title></title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"> <script type="text/javascript"> function t_replace(data){ var q = {}, ret = ""; data.replace(/(?:((["'\/]*(("[^"]*")|('[^']*'))?[\s]*)?[\/\/|#][^"|^']*))/g, function(value){ q[key] = value; }); for ( var key in q ){ ret = q[key]; } var text = data.split(ret); var out = ret + text[1]; out = out.replace(/"/g,"&quot;"); out = out.replace(/'/g,"&apos;"); return text[0] + out; } </script> </head> <body> <script type="text/javascript"> document.write(t_replace("$test = \"the url is http://www.google.com\";// c'o\"mment \"\"\"<-- that quote needs to be matched")+"<br>"); document.write(t_replace("$test = 'the url is http://www.google.com';# c'o\"mment \"\"\"<-- that quote needs to be matched")); </script> </body> </html> it handles all the line comments outside of single or double quotes. • Why browser doesnt recognize jquery when <script src="...jquery.js> is on a html page served by Goo

    - by indiehacker
jquery.js source code is not being recognised by browser using my page.html served by Google App Engine as a http:some_request to the SDK, BUT when I load the exact same page.html into the browser directly from my local hard drive as jquery.js all works OK, it is recognized, so I know my path is OK.... I don't understand? In the header of my page.html I have the following: <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> I also tried without success in the header this: <script src="/static/jquery.js" type="text/javascript"></script> I am working along with the examples in the [Jquery tutorial][1]. I am sure there is something simple I dont understand about how .html pages served to the browser from app engine interact differently with the browser than what I normally would expect....but I frustratingly just cant get it.....everything else I have with my app engine app is working fine......would love some help so i can move forward....
