  Ok this one has be confused as all get out! One of the teachers at the school I support has a dell latitude e5500 and the desktop shows about 3/4 just fine, but the right 1/4th shows whatever was on the last (like its not refreshing (yes I tried refreshing the screen)) For example if I open up internet explorer then minimize it the left 3/4ths minimizes, but the right 1/4th stays pulled up. Another interesting piece of information is that if I change it to God awful 800x600 it works perfectly fine. The sceen works together and has no problems.... The only way I have found to get rid of this is to reload the laptop and that is getting old quick! Thanks for your help! Msindle

• Steps to make sure network is not blacklisted...Again

  I have an interesting issue. I have a client that just got blacklisted due to spam being sent out over the last 2 days. I have my firewall configured to only allow mail to go outbound on port 25 from our mail server (Exchange 2010) exclusively and I have verified that there are no open relay's on our transport rules. We are running Vipre Business and after running deep scans with updated definitions all computers come back clean. I ran a message tracking report on our Exchange server that shows all mail sent via the mail server over the last couple of weeks and didn't see anything malicious or out of the ordinary. I have also verified that there are no home devices or rouge computers on the network. For all practical purposes it appears that the network is clean, but we still wound up on 5 or 6 blacklists...Where should I start looking next? Is there a "best practices" guide that can help eradicate this issue? Thanks in advance! msindle

• Server 2003 Filter mobile devices via MAC

  At one of my client's sites I need to keep my users unauthorized devices off the wireless. They all know the SSID and Password because many of them have laptops that need the wireless. I'm running out of IP address's and we have sent out numerous emails asking them to stay off, but like most users they ignore IT's email. I'm currently running Server 2003 as the GC/DC (but have 2008 servers in place) and 2 Netgear WNAP320. I've seen several posts similar to what I'm looking for but they seem to deal with Linux. My question is how do I go about doing this without migrating (scheduled for the end of the year) to a new server and is it possible to do this within Server 2003? Thanks msindle

• Drupal taxonomy multi-select default value

  I'm using drupal 6.16 and have a set of taxonomy terms that are set up as a multi-select box. I would like for the first item to be selected when the user loads the page. I dont know if I need to add code to a file or just simply change a setting. I should warn you I do not have a lot of experience, but would rate myself as a low intermediate level programmer. What I would like to happen is when the user logs in and wants to change their their name, email etc to click a menu tab.   I'm using Drupal 6.16: When a user creates an account on my site I have them select a category (ie children, youth, adult, etc). This is done with the select list box using the content_profile module. I have a content type that posts an announcement. In this content type is a check box that says 'email group'. Right now it does nothing, but what I would like for it to do is e-mail all the users that are associated with the group they chose when signing up for their account. If this will require extra code please be specific as I am not a strong php programmer. Thanks for the help!! msindle
