  • custom cell based on row index iphone

    I'm wondering if it is possible to add cell content to a uitableview based on the row index? For example if it is the first cell (row 0) I want to add an image and text. If it is the second row I would like to add a button. For all other rows I would like to just add a line of text. I tried using indexPath.row. Scenario: I've developed an PHP Content Management System (CMS) and use some Linux executables licensed under GPL or LGPL in my CMS to accomplish various tasks like image editing. I'm selling the CMS and also including the executables when I deliver the product. I do not edit the source code of the GPL software, just using it.

    Hi, I am trying to retrieve a list of images and text from a web service. I have first coded to get the images to a list using Simple Adapter.     I'd like to implement the group by features for the default grid as it's available for the commercial grid like devexpress/infragistics et al, if you want a sample, see the 2nd image on http://www.devexpress.com/Products/NET/Controls/WinForms/Grid/dataoperations.xml I'd think there's some pattern or better yet some opensource/free grid which does this already, if not, i would probably implement it if i can find the time (doubtful ! and esp since it's available so easily in most packages, if only i can convince the client to pay for a license ) & want to get some ideas/patterns on the same

Eg I have a flash application that is requesting http://example.com/myImage.png The code in the flash application cannot be changed but I want to be able to either use another flash or some javascript to write that URL as the image is beging requested - to something like example.com/myImage.png?u=123456

    I am painting a widget and I want to optimize the process. Basically i will be sliding the image in the x direction and I only want to fill the newly exposed area. Is there a way to translate the pixels of a widget without calling update or using paintevent? I know of pixmaps and such but I am wondering If I can for example draw a pixmap once and then translate what I have drawn without having to paint anything else or draw pixmaps anymore.

    I have followed answer given by CMS in relation to getting a menu to stay in one place on the page whilst you scroll the page as per this original question and it works very well but I also have a number of images on the page where I'm using the jquery fancylink plugin to show an enlarged image on click. The problem is when you then close the fancylink popup and scroll to the top of the page the static DIV then decides to stick to the very top of the page. Any ideas or help would this would be greatly appreciated.

  • UIImageView animation has long delay on device

    I create a 5-frame animation on UImageView and each image is created by [UIImage imageWithContentOfFile:xxx], however, the animation on simulator is working well but not on device, it usually has ~1 sec delay though the animation duration is 1sec. Is anyway to preload the images involved in the animation? thanks.

  • Building CSS3 Simulated Lightsource on Background

    Is there a way to take a DIV that has a background image on it, then apply a CSS3 gradient on it to simulate a lightsource? The reason I ask was because I was thinking of making the BODY tag on a page use a repeating background pattern, apply the CSS3 gradient lightsource on it, and then stick a white DIV on top of that where all the page content would go. For those without CSS3, it would degrade nicely into just a white DIV on top of a repeating background.
