  • HTML 5 Video Error Media Src Not Supported

    So I was working on a toy website (http://nirmalpatel.com/yeah/index.html). If you check the source, you can see that I have linked a m4v and ogg version. When I load this page from my own computer using a url that starts with file:// the page works fine in Safari, Chrome and Firefox. However, after I upload all of the videos and the HTML to my server Firefox stops working. I don't think it's a permissions issue as both videos have the same permission.

    Hi, I want to create a script that checks an URL and perform an action (download + unzip) when the "Last-Modified" header of the remote file changed. I thought about fetching the header with curl but then I have to store it somewhere for each file and perform a date comparison. Does anyone have a different idea using (mostly) standard unix tools? thanks

    This morning our game is not working on my computer under IE9. The error I get is: access denied on http://static.ak.fbcdn.net/rsrc.php/v1/yL/r/X3oFUDWWu05.js When I load this URL in Chrome, FF, and IE 8, everything works fine. But under IE9 I have the following error: 'window is undefined' Error : 800A1391 Execution Error Microsoft JScript This is a Facebook script that I have no control over. I've cleared my cache but still get the error. Any ideas?

    I installed a local version of Laconica microblogging in my env. Then I downlowaded SPAZ (an AIR client) to try and talk to the Laconica app. I get an authenitcation error. I have put in the appropriate credentials - I think :) But I think that I have to alter the API and base URL for connecting. Ayone have any thoughts on how to make these two apps talk ?     With Twitter turning off the API 1.0 faucet on 6/11/2013, we have several sites that now fail to display timelines. I've been looking for an "If you did that, now do this" example.   • In Jeditable, how do I make it so that when I click the div to edit, the text box content has initial value that is processed?

    When the user clicks on the div, jeditable will make a text box. However, I want the initial text to be done with function stripTags(), instead of what's on the page. The reason is that I'm using some URL techniques to turn plain text links into URLs.
