hi all, i m facing some problem in find function. im fetching value fro find function.i have model.contian another model .
Can i give conditions in contain in cakephp
is it possiblehi
usually, symbolic functions return vectors for vector inputs:
syms('x');
f=x*2;
subs(f,[1 2 3])
outputs: [2 4 6]
but doing
f=sym('0');
subs(f,[1 2 3]);
outputs: 0
and not: [0 0 0]
so basically, my questions is how do I make f behave as a "normal" symbolic function.
I can do something ugly like f=x-x to create a function that always returns zero, but is there a prettier way?
I have some technical questions. In this function:
string report() const {
if(list.begin() == list.end()){
throw "not good";
}
//do something
}
If I throw the exception what is going on with the program? Will my function terminate or will it run further? If it terminates, what value will it return?
How to submit default data when using $.ajax?
I have tried:
$.ajaxPrefilter(function(options, originalOptions, jqXHR) {
// can't access anything here... (tried jqXHR.data but undefined)
});
$.ajaxSetup({
beforeSend: function(jqXHR, settings) {
// can't access anything here... (tried jqXHR.data but undefined)
}
});
I need this so I can send my CSRF token, each time and when logged in submit the user ID each time. I prefer not to submit a token in headers.
Thanks
I was reading this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thread_safety
Is the following function thread-safe?
void foo(int y){
int * x = new int[50];
/*...do some stuff with the allocated memory...*/
delete x;
}
In the article it says that to be thread-safe you can only use variables from the stack. Really? Why? Wouldn't subsequent calls of the above function allocate memory elsewhere?
Hi, I am using this code to refresh the data inside of the div:
<script>
$(function() {
$("#refresh").click(function() {
$("#new").load("/new.php")
})
})
</script>
Except it loads the who page inside of the div, instead of just the information that is inside of the div.
How do I make it refresh only the data that is inside of the div? Is there a way of doing it other than putting the information for that div in a seperate page?
I am trying to grab the value of my href in jquery how is it done'?
This is what I have done:
$('#playbackbutton').click(
function() {
$("#playbackdiv").load("$('a:href').val();", [], function(){
$("#playbackdiv").dialog("open");
}
);
return false;
}
I need to get the value of the href in my a tag.
here is the html:
<a href="/record/123.wav">play</a>
function doIt(param) {
var localVar = param;
//do lots of stuff with localVar
}
function doIt(param) {
//do lots of stuff with param
}
Is there any difference in terms of efficiency between the code above?
In C++ is there a predefined library function that will return the size of RAM currently available on a computer a program is being run on, at run-time?
For instance, if an object is 4bytes, then can we divide the available virtual memory by 4 bytes to give an estimate of how many more objects could be stored by the program safely?
I have used the sizeof() function to return the size of objects within my program.
Thanks
The following code works:
$(".valClear").each(function () {
if ($(this).val().indexOf(".png") == -1) {
$(this).val('');
}
});
However this doesn't (the value is removed even if it contains .png or .jpeg), what am I doing wrong?
$(".valClear").each(function () {
if (($(this).val().indexOf(".png") == -1) || ($(this).val().indexOf(".jpeg") == -1)) {
$(this).val('');
}
});
I've inherited a Visual Studio/VB.Net numerical simulation project that has a likely inefficient calculation. Profiling indicates that the function is called a lot (1 million times plus) and spends about 50% of the overall calculation within this function. Here is the problematic portion
Result = (A * (E ^ C)) / (D ^ C * B) (where A-C are local double variables and D & E global double variables)
Result is then compared to a threshold which might have additional improvements as well, but I'll leave them another day
any thoughts or help would be appreciated

Hi,
I'm new to JQuery. In my App I have the following:
$("#displayPanel div").live("click", function(){
$(this).css({'background-color' : 'pink', 'font-weight' : 'bolder'});
});
When I click on a Div, the color of that Div is changed. Within that Click function I have some functionalities to do. After all that I want to remove the applied Css from the Div. How could I do it in JQuery?
I need to convert a varchar value of 1/9/2011 to a date in mySQL and I want only the month and year. So that I can then use the PERIOD_DIFF function (so I would need the above to be converted to 201101).
I've tried various ways using the STR_TO_DATE function:
SELECT STR_TO_DATE(CYOApp_oilChangedDate, '%m/%Y') FROM CYO_AppInfo
But I get weird results... (for example: 2009-01-00)
What am I doing incorrectly?
function testing() {
$.ajax({
type: "POST",
url: "testing.php",
data: "call="+$("#abc").val(),
success: function(msg){
alert( msg );
}
});
}
I want to post the data to testing.php but if i got special characters like & sign. it will create the problem. How do i go about it?
Thank You
I am using jquery uimodaldialog and this is setting
$("#dialog").dialog({
autoOpen : false,
minWidth : 700,
show : {
effect : "fade",
duration : 1000
},
hide : {
effect : "fade",
duration : 1000
},
close : function(event, ui) {
},
});
I am calling with this
$('.mylink').on('click', function() {
$( "#dialog" ).dialog( "open");
Now on first click it shows at center of page .
if I click again then it goes about 200px upwards.
On further clicking it says there
I can implement the error function, erf, myself, but I'd prefer not to. Is there a python package with no external dependencies that contains an implementation of this function? I have found http://pylab.sourceforge.net/packages/included_functions.htmlthis but this seems to be part of some much larger package (and it's not even clear which one!).
I'm sorry if this is a naive question - I'm totally new to Python.
I'm making the call using the following script which is called on click of an anchor tag
function GetToken(videoId) {
debugger;
var json = $.getJSON("/Vod/RequestAccessToken/"+videoId, function(result){
alert("token recieved: " + result.token);
});
}
In the server application I recieve the call so I know it is a valid URL, but the callback is not being invoked. If i set though the jquery code (f11/f10) the callback is called??!!!?
I am trying to get the URL from a function I wrote. But because the function is included into the file, its brining back the include path and not the url. Is there a work around?
i should get /example.php but instead i get includes/url-logger.php
this is done via $_SERVER['request_uri']
cheers
there are 2 multiple select list on my page , one is there with a seperate remove button . selecting an item there in the selected list is removing the item from the first select list also.how will i specify which list to remove item from in this code
$().ready(function() {
$('#remove').click(function() {
return !$('#FeatureList option:selected').remove();
});
});
I am looking for a static function in the .NET framework which takes an XML snippet and an Xslt file, applies the transformation in memory, and returns the transformed XML.
I would like to do this:
string rawXml = invoiceTemplateDoc.MainDocumentPart.Document.InnerXml;
rawXml = DoXsltTransformation(rawXml, @"c:\prepare-invoice.xslt"));
// ... do more manipulations on the rawXml
Alternatively, instead of taking and returning strings, it could be taking and returning XmlNodes.
Is there such a function?
In my adventures studying the boost libraries, I've come across function signatures that have parameters which are a reference to a reference to an object.
Example:
void function(int && i);
What is the purpose/benefit of doing it this way rather than simply taking a reference to an object? I assume there is one if it's in boost.
I am trying to make a firefox extension which looks at all the new pages that a user views and look at the URL. I was looking at the nsINavHistoryObserver interface and was interested in the onVisit function. Is there a way to create an event listener that can listen to whenever the onVisit function is called?
Thanks
