We would like to implement some code analysis as well to track that maintanability at least not getting worse. Basically there is only one requirement - the tool should be command line so we can call it from constinues integration server and it should work with VB6 projects. • When calling managed code called from unmanaged code, is it possible to inspect the exception object

  Working with COM interop, I can call a managed function from within unmanaged code. But, this only gives me the HRESULT for the exception, in case a managed exception is thrown. Is there anyway to further inspect the exception from the unmanaged code? For example, to look at the message contained in the exception object. Thanks!

  At face value, it would seem that object initializers present a problem for .net 4.0 "code contracts", where normally the invariant should be established by the time the object constructor is finished. Presumably, however, object-initializers require properties to be set after construction is complete. My question is if the invariants of "code contracts" are able to handle object initializers, "as if" the properties were set before the constructor completes? That would be very nice indeed!!
