  • Set a ModelState to an ActionResult in ASP.Net MVC

    Hi, In a View, I've created a <form> that posts some data to another Controller, which is different from that one that redirected me to the View. In this second controller, i perform some data validations and then, if errors are found, I need to redirect the user again to the source View but with the edited ModelState (so that i can show the validation errors). Any tips?

  • Which TextEditor is easiest to customize for a new scripting language?

    It's been more than an year that i'm developing a new scripting language with its own grammar rules and constructs. I'd like to give the users of this language some minimalistic ide to work with, but i don't want/have time to make one from scratch so i'd like to take one already existing (it has to run on Linux platforms natively, so no windows-only editors plz) and customize it. Well, which one is the easiest to customize without changing the source code and recompiling it, maybe even with plugin support? Thank you.

    I want to allow users add files to the application document folder, so I used the iTunes file sharing. The problem is they can only add single files with a flat structure. I want to drag and drop whole folder (even with sub folders) and keep the structure. Questions I have: is it possible with iTunes file sharing? if not, is there an open source project that helps me with writing a pc side app that talks to the iPhone side app and pushes the files into it?

We have corporate accounts with both companies, and they both tell me that they have no intention of producing versions to support 64 bit applications.     Is it possible to detect the computed font-size of a DOM element, taking into consideration generic settings made elsewhere (In the body tag for example), inherited values, and so on? A framework-independent approach would be nice, as I'm working on a script that should work standalone, but that is not a requirement of course. Background: I'm trying to tweak CKEditor's font selector plugin (source here) so that it always shows the font size of the current cursor position (as opposed to only when within a span that has an explicit font-size set, which is the current behaviour).

    Does anybody know the VB or C# code to programmatically download a video from YouTube? I have gone through all related questions on this site and the only code I have found (which uses the WebClient Class webclient.DownloadFileAsync) returns the text source of the video, but not the Flash video (.flv) file that needs to be downloaded? Do you know any SDK or library which can help? I have also downloaded the GoogleAPI (YouTube DLL) but have not found a way of doing it.

    I am looking for a way to develop a plugin for Delphi 2010IDE and have yet to find any information on that topic, not even on how to get started. What I want to accomplish is some kind of auto-spellchecker wich can be given a list of common typos (flase instead of false, .cerate instead of .create and the like) and replace them with the intended word. Do you know of a tutorial on plugin development, or maybe an open source plugin which i could base my work on?
