  The type or namespace name 'Resources' does not exist in the namespace 'MyWebProject.Web' (are you missing an assembly reference?) C:\Users\...\MySecondProject\Generated_Code\MyWebProject.Web.g.cs I am having some problems trying to add a second SL client project to my (Ria services) SL Business Application. It has to do with the way the shared Resources files on the Web project are linked to from my new SL client project (the SL client project that was generated by the Business App template works fine). The same problem was brought up in the SL forums but copying the Web folder from my existing SL client doesn't seem to work. How can I add a second SL client project using RIA services to the solution of an existing SL Business Application without these problems over shared resources? Should I avoid the Business Application solution template for solutions with multiple SL clients since it seems to presume only a single client app will be sharing the resource files?

• UIScrollView ImageView with pins on top

  To all, I have a UIScrollView which has a UIImageView. I want to show pins on this imageView. When I add pins as subviews of the ImageView everything is great except for when you zoom the scale transform happens on the pins also. I don't want this behavior and want my pins to stay the same. So I choose to add the Pins to another view which sits on top of the ImageView and is also a subview of the UIScrollView. The idea here if you will imagine is to have a layer which hovers over the map and won't scale yet show pins over where I plot them. The pin when added to the layer view don't cale if the ImageView scales. However the issue then bceomes the position of the pins doesn't match the original origin x/y as the ImageView has had a scale transform. Basically this is a custom map of a place with Pins. I am trying to have the Pins float over and not zoom in and out over my ImageView yet remember where I placed them when the zoom happens. • How do I create interface methods using .tlb types in VS C++?

  Background: The .TLB file contains interfaces written in language 'X'. I don't have .h, .idl, .tlh, or any other header files - just the .TLB file. Language 'X' does not export compatible .h, .idl, etc. I use the VS wizard to add an ATL simple object to my ATL project. I want to add a method to the interface of my simple ATL object that uses one of the .TLB defined types for a parameter. // Something like the following in the .idl file: interface ISomeInterface : IUnknown { HRESULT SomeMethod([in] ITypeFromTLB* aVal); // ITypeFromTLB declared in .TLB file. }; How can I do this? I'm hoping for a wizard, or a line in the .idl interface declaration that would bring in the .tlb information. midl's include (no .tlb), import (no tlb), and importlib (library only) don't seem to provide a solution (I need proxy/stub to be working, so I cannot put this inside the library declaration with the importlib command). I'm using Reminder fifteenMinReminder = new Reminder(); fifteenMinReminder.Minutes = 15; fifteenMinReminder.Method = Reminder.ReminderMethod.email; entry.Reminders.Add(fifteenMinReminder); on a brand new entry (where Reminder and Reminders are Nothing), but I cannot add a reminder using the above code (taken straight from the Google Docs), or set the entry.Reminder to fifteenMinReminder directly either. What am I doing wrong? I've had no trouble .adding When and Where's to the entry, but the Reminder doesn't want to follow the same pattern. Any ideas?

• Mixing inheritance mapping strategies in NHibernate

  I have a rather large inheritance hierarchy in which some of the subclasses add very little and others add quite a bit. I don't want to map the entire hierarchy using either "table per class hierarchy" or "table per subclass" due to the size and complexity of the hierarchy. Ideally I'd like to mix mapping strategies such that portions of the hierarchy where the subclasses add very little are combined into a common table a la "table per class hierarchy" and subclasses that add a lot are broken out into a separate table. Using this approach, I would expect to have 2 or 3 tables with very little wasted space instead of either 1 table with lots of fields that don't apply to most of the objects, or 20+ tables, several of which would have only a couple of columns. In the NHibernate Reference Documentation version 2.1.0, I found section 8.1.4 "Mixing table per class hierarchy with table per subclass". This approach switches strategies partway down the hierarchy by using: ... <subclass ...> <join ...> <property ...> ... </join> </subclass> ... This is great in theory. In practice, though, I found that the schema was too restrictive in what was allowed inside the "join" element for me to be able to accomplish what I needed. Or should I add only 1 eventListener to the parent ? and call the event through ID ? 2) if I want to scale my item, (a LinkButton with icon image), I noticed that the icon is sometimes resized with delay, so I have a bit of flickering when I trigger the event.   I want to write a script that manipulates ID3 tags of mp3 files. I need a tool that reads the tags and outputs it in a format in a machine-readable format. For example, if I want it to output only the title, then it outputs the title, nothing else. I tried different tools like id3 or eyeD3, but they can only be used to write tags or to output them in a human-readable format. Of course I could just filter that output through sed, but it seems unnecessarily complicated to me.

  Hello everyone, I ran into a bit of trouble while trying to load an external HTML page into a div using jQuery-ajax. I had this div: <div id="content"></div> and wanted to fill it with $("#content").load("include/add.html"); It loads the HTML file perfectly, but inside that add.html is a button that should load add2.html(also using .load), but it seems that neither the button nor the datepicker in that file won't work. I'm guessing the .load function is responsible for that?   Is there any way to create a desired topology of EC2 instances? For example, can I create a 3 node topology of nodes A, B, C where C gets the public IP address and B and A are connected to it. Something like: Internet <-- C <-- B <-- A B and A only get private IP addresses and there is no way for the traffic to reach A before hitting B and C. This means I can install whatever I want to install on C and B to filter, cache etc. I'm going through EC2 documentation but so far I have not seen anything that talks about it.   I'm trying to setup the email alerts on the iDrac6 Express on an R610, but when i run the test it just says "Sending Failed". Platform Event Filter Alerts are enabled. The network setup is: 192.168.1.22/255.255.255.0 Gateway: 192.168.1.1 DNS: 192.168.1.1 SMTP: 192.168.1.1 Exim is listening 192.168.1.1 and is set to allow mail on 192.168/16. There's nothing in the exim logs about connections from the drac. Is there a way to get the drac to give more information about why it's sending failed?

  I wanted to add a view to the bottom of my screen. The controller is a UITableViewController, how do I shrink the tableView and add a extra view at the bottom of the tableview? I've tried setting the frame of self.tableView in different places (viewDidLoad, viewWillAppear etc) but nothing happens. The tableView is created by IB and not programtically. I've tried added a footer to my table view but that's not what I want, because the footer actually scrolls up, I want a static non moving View at the bottom of the screen.

  I'm looking for a way to automatically (as part of the compilation/build process) generate a "table" of function pointers in C. So, given a set of source files, each of which which contain a single function that takes no arguments and returns void, how would one automatically (as part of the build process) generate an array like the one above that contains each of the functions from the files? I'd like to be able to add new files and have them automatically inserted into the table when I re-compile. I realize that this probably isn't achievable using the C language or preprocessor alone, so consider any common *nix-style tools fair game (e.g. make, perl, shell scripts (if you have to)). But Why? You're probably wondering why anyone would want to do this. I'm creating a small test framework for a library of common mathematical routines. Under this framework, there will be many small "test cases," each of which has only a few lines of code that will exercise each math function. I'd like each test case to live in its own source file as a short function. All of the test cases will get built into a single executable, and the test case(s) to be run can be specified on the command line when invoking the executable. The main() function will search through the table and, if it finds a match, jump to the test case function. Automating the process of building up the "catalog" of test cases ensures that test cases don't get left out (for instance, because someone forgets to add it to the table) and makes it very simple for maintainers to add new test cases in the future (just create a new source file in the correct directory, for instance).   I am trying to populate a drop down and found this page, which provides part of the solution: http://www.bizsupportonline.net/infopath2007/programmatically-fill-populate-drop-down-list-box-infopath-2007.htm I got this to work, but if players.xml was changed, the drop down list didn't reflect it. I had to rename the file and add the new file as my secondary data source to see the change. For my purposes, the xml file that is used to populate the drop down box would need to be created anew. Each time the form is loaded, I programatically create a new xml file, but the drop down doesn't pick up the new file, even though I have named it as the secondary data source. It seems that once you set a file to be your secondary data source, it takes a snapshot of that file at the time the source was added as a secondary data source and if you change the file, you must rename and add it as your secondary source. How do I populate a drop down box from an XML file such that if the XML file changes, the contents of the drop down change accordingly?

  Hello together, my Question is quite simple. I have an add-button. When I tap on it -- presentmodelviewController presents a UIViewController, which contains a simple Table with cells. When I tap on a Cell, i want to display a new View using pushViewController, which automatically creates a "back Button". At the top of it in this new View i have a Textfield, where I can enter some Text. When I tap the back-button, the view slides back to the add-View (which was presented using modalView...). Now i want the text edited in the view before to be placed in the Label of the first row (cell) on which I tapped. So I want to do this for 5 cells. Each of them presenting another xib. • gcc linking shared libraries with dependent libraries

  I have a complicated project with multiple executable targets and multiple shared libraries. The shared libraries currently don't have their dependent shared libraries linked in, and the result is that linker arguments to build the executables are hideously long and hard to maintain. I'd like to add in the dependencies so the Makefiles become much cleaner. I want to add the following (example): gcc -shared -o libshared.so -lshared_dependent1 -lshared_dependent2 objfile1.o objfile2.o Is there a way to test if all the symbols in libshared.so will resolve based on that line? Is there a way to print out if any of the shared_dependent libraries specified were unnecessary? Thanks in advance.

• Why my VPN doesn't work anymore?

  I have openvpn server running on debian lenny. There is only one client - and it is running Windows 7 64-bit. This has worked for few months without any problems. And now, let's say for the last 7 days, it doesn't work at all. I connect successfully from client to the server, but I can't access anything through VPN. I have set it up so that all internet traffic is routed through VPN, and now when I connect with the client, the client can't do anything on the net (open any webpage, ping google, anything ...). Can you help me to figure out what's wrong ? I don't know where to start. I've also tried to connect to another openvpn server (I've installed and configured openvpn on another server, and when I try to connect to it result is the same). So I think there's something wrong with client ...
