• Why my VPN doesn't work anymore?

  I have openvpn server running on debian lenny. There is only one client - and it is running Windows 7 64-bit. This has worked for few months without any problems. And now, let's say for the last 7 days, it doesn't work at all. I connect successfully from client to the server, but I can't access anything through VPN. I have set it up so that all internet traffic is routed through VPN, and now when I connect with the client, the client can't do anything on the net (open any webpage, ping google, anything ...). Can you help me to figure out what's wrong ? I don't know where to start. I've also tried to connect to another openvpn server (I've installed and configured openvpn on another server, and when I try to connect to it result is the same). So I think there's something wrong with client ...   Hi, I'm using ASP.NET WebForms. I'm using the standard sitemap provider. Home User Account Entry Going to the home page should have a user selection screen. Clicking on a user should list out the user's accounts with options to edit, delete, add accounts. Selecting an account should list out all the user's account's entries with options to edit delete and add entries. How do you normally pass this information between pages? I could use the query string, but then, the sitemap doesn't work. The sitemap only has the exact page without the query string and therefore loses the information. /User/Account/List.aspx?User=123 /User/Account/Entry/List.aspx?User=123&Account=322 I could use a session variable, but this seems overkill. Thoughts and suggestions very appreciated. Thanks!

  What is the best way to store user relationships, e.g. friendships, that must be bidirectional (you're my friend, thus I'm your friend) in a rel. database, e.g. MYSql? I can think of two ways: Everytime a user friends another user, I'd add two rows to a database, row A consisting of the user id of the innitiating user followed by the UID of the accepting user in the next column. Row B would be the reverse. You'd only add one row, UID(initiating user) followed by UID(accepting user); and then just search through both columns when trying to figure out whether user 1 is a friend of user 2. Surely there is something better?

  I have made an application that gives the user the option to open up a new spawn of the application entirely. When the user does so and closes the application the entire application terminates; not just the window. How should I go about recursively spawning an application and then when the user exits the JFrame spawn; killing just that JFrame and not the entire instance?   A linux machine is connected to internet over two interfaces ppp0 and ppp1 using two modems. Also this machine acts as wireless access point through an interface say, eth0 with ip address 192.168.1.1 and acts as gateway for the connected devices through this network with subnet mask 255.255.255.0 Now is it possible to achieve the following: When any of the connected devices through wireless AP needs internet connection linux machine has to use ppp1 interface for internet. If any of the applications on the linux machine needs internet connection linux machine should use ppp0 interface for the internet. Can this be achieved by adding rules to chains in filter/nat tables? If the kernel routing table has a default rule to route the default traffic through interface ppp0, wil kernel completely ignore ppp1 for internet? • Has anyones successfully configured mutt for GMail on FreeBSD? If so, how?

  I've tried following the instructions here and here. Currently, I can read email from my GMail account, but not send—this is on a personal computer, so even if I configured Sendmail, I doubt any of the mail would survive the spam filter gauntlet. Both guides seem to require the --enable-smtp option for mutt, which I don't think is being exposed by ports. I've tried the mutt and mutt-devel ports and neither seem to give me that option. On a far less important note, I also haven't been able to change folders, e.g., I get told that Sent Mail is not a valid folder when I attempt to go into it. If you can troubleshoot this problem, it's pure gravy. I really only care about sending. Thanks, Hank

• PriorityQueue update problems

  After going through a bunch of questions here on SO, I still have no idea what exactly is going wrong with my code and would appreciate some help. The problem is that when I debug the program, at some point (near an obstacle), a Node with a fcost of say 84 has higher priority than a node with an fcost of 70. I am not attempting to modify the values once they're on the priority queue. You'll notice that I add at the end of the while loop (I read somewhere that the priorityqueue reorders itself when stuff is added to it), and poll right after that at the beginning. Status of 2 means the Node is the goal, and a status of 4 means that it is unwalkable. public int compareTo(Node o) { if(m_iF<o.m_iF) return -1; if(m_iF>o.m_iF) return 1; return 0; } And that's the compareTo function. • Switching DataSources in ReportViewer in WinForms

  I have created a winform for the users to view view the many reports I am creating for them. I have a drop down list with the report name which triggers the appropriate fields to display the parameters. Once those are filled, they press Submit and the report appears. This works the first time they hit the screen. They can change the parameters and the ReportViewer works fine. Change to a different report, and the I get the following ReportViewer error: An error occurred during local report processing. An error has occurred during the report processing. A data source instance has not been supplied for the data source "CgTempData_BusMaintenance". As far as the process I use: I set reportName (string) the physical RDLC name. I set the dataSource (string) as the DataSource Name I fill a generic DataTable with the data for the report to run from. • How to view only Mail on shared email account?

  I have a support account which I should have access to in my Outlook 2010, however, since changing from 2003, the situation has become unusual. I used to be able to just view shared mail items in a seperate account, without it having the Calendar, Tasks and Reminders popping up in my face all hours of the day. Now, if I add the account, I get upwards of 60 task reminders that are not my personal account, and that clog up my Reminders window and task list. Is there a way to show only my Tasks and Reminders in Outlook 2010? I've tried the Advanced Filter option on the Tasks list, but if I set it to show only things from or to myself, everything disappears, or nothing disappears. I tried looking in the email account settings for something like 'Read email only' or something to do with only showing some of the modules of outlook, but it was useless.

  I have an object oriented PHP application. I have a simple hierarchy stored in an SQL table (Chapters and Authors that can be assigned to a chapter). I wrote the following method to fetch the chapters and the authors in a single query and then loop through the result, figuring out which rows belong to the same chapter and creating both Chapter objects and arrays of Author objects. However, I feel like this can be made a lot neater.   Hi, I am trying to put together a test case for using Lucene.NET on one of our websites. I'd like to do the following: Index in a single unique id. Index across a comma delimitered string of terms or tags. For example. Item 1: Id = 1 Tags = Something,Separated-Term I will then be structuring the search so I can look for documents against tag i.e. tags:something OR tags:separate-term I need to maintain the exact term value in order to search against it. I have something running, and the search query is being parsed as expected, but I am not seeing any results. Here's some code.   I'm building a few SharePoint sites, and I want to make use of zones so I may set security different in the various zones. My workstation has a local SharePoint, and I use it for development. My workstation has a static IP, and is connected to the internet. When I make a SharePoint site, I want to add a host header, for instance, devbox.com. I do not own this name, nor do I want to. I then add an entry in my hosts file, but when I surf to http://devbox.com:8080, it does not resolve. Do I need to register the name I want to use, or should this work, i.e., have my hosts file resolve names/IPs first?

  Hello. I have a file of IP addresses called "IPs". When I parse a new IP from my logs, I'd like to see if the new IP is already in file IPs, before I add it. I know how to add the new IP to the file, but I'm having trouble seeing if the new IP is already in the file. !/usr/bin/python from IPy import IP IP = IP('192.168.1.2') f=open(IP('IPs', 'r')) #This line doesn't work f=open('IPs', 'r') # this one doesn't work for line in f: if IP == line: print "Found " +IP +" before" f.close() In the file "IPs", each IP address is on it's own line. • Update/Increment a single column on multiple rows at once

  I'm trying to add rows to a column, keeping the order of the newest column set to one, and all other rows counting up from there. In this case, I add a new row with order=0, then use this query to update all the rows by one. "UPDATE favorits SET order = order+1" However, what happens is that all the rows are updated to the same value. I get a stack of favorites, all with order 6 for example, when it should be one with 1, the next with 2 and so on. How do I update these rows in a way that orders them the way they should be? I was wondering if there is a method (or property) which is generated by Visual Studio whatever web service you add to your project so that I can put a breakpoint there and once the debugger stops there, I can simply read the response from web-service in an xml format (or should I say, soap). • Autotools automatic invocation of lcov after 'make check'

  I have successfully set up an autotools project where the tests compiles with instrumentation so I can get a test coverage report. I can get the report by running lcov in the source dir after a successful 'make check'. I now face the problem that I want to automate this step. I would like to add this to 'make check' or to make it a separate goal 'make check-coverage'. Ideally I would like to parse the result and fail if the coverage falls below a certain percentage. Problem is that I cannot figure out how to add a custom target at all. The closest I got was finding this example autotools config, but I can't see where in that project the goal 'make lcov' is added. I can only see some configure flags in m4/auxdevel.m4. Any tips?
