I'm looking for an embedded database for a silverlight application.I have found several choices like MCObjects(www.mcobject.com) and EffiProz(www.effiproz.com). Which one is most suitable as local cache?
Seems easy but I just don't get any further:
Take this example:
local myTable = { 'a', 'b', 'c', 'd' }
print( myTable[ math.random( 0, #myTable - 1 ) ] )
Why doesn't it work?
Google seems to have no answers on this either
I have a certificate installed in windows server 2003
The path I can see from MMC is:
Certificates(Local Computer)/Personal/Certificates
I want to configure it in my wcf config. How do I know what the storeName is?
This is what I get so far in my wcf config
<serviceCertificate findValue="certificate.example.com" storeLocation="LocalMachine" storeName="???" x509FindType="FindBySubjectName" />

I don't have any network drive mapping with this target location.

This is in the context of a local Processing program. I would like to run an external program to get some data. Is there a popen() or equivalent function I can use?
Are there exists an simple AMPQ server/broker implementation written in Java?
I need it only for local integration tests, starting it from ant/maven, and i don't need any features like a clustering, persistence, performance and so on. Just a fake RabbitMQ-like instance, without installation (just as a dependency at maven pom) and configuration.
Hi,
I am creating an application that is connecting to another computer through an Ethernet cable in XP. I need to execute the network setup wizard to setup a local area connection (with File sharing Turned On) and then set static ips and the default gateway; all this programmatically using C#. How can this be achieved?
I have a sql file generated by "mysqldump --all-databases" . There are many databases in it. What I want to do is to update my local database but only a specific one, not all. I tried to use "mysql -database=db_name < file.sql" but it updated all databases. Is there a way to skip all databases except the one that I want.
I want to copy all the tables, fields, and data from my local server mysql to my hosting sites mysql. Is there a way to copy all the data? (It's only 26kb, very small)
How are paths determined on a remote machines?
I have been assigned a network loaction. Let's call it \wassup\test1
I assume that wassup is the ame of the computer. The question I have is this. How can I determine what the local path from the point of view of the remote machine would be for "test1". For example, how would I know if it is c:\test1 or d:\test1 ?
I have a dll written in C++ that is legacy code and cannot modify the source code. I want to be able to call some of the functions inside of the dll from lua.
For example, I'd like to do something like this:
-- My Lua File
include(myCppDll.dll)
function callCppFunctionFromDll()
local result = myCppFunctionFromDll(arg1, arg2)
--Do something with result here
end
Is something like this possible?
How do I inspect the return value of this GetItems() function using the debugger? Do I have to create a local variable for the results to accomplish this?
foreach (string item in GetItems())
{
// some code
}
private List<string> GetItems()
{
// return some list
}

I have to develop a whiteboard application in which both the local user and the remote user should be able to draw simultaneously, is this possible? If possible then any logic?
I have already developed a code but in which i am not able to do this, when the remote user starts drawing the shape which i am drawing is being replaced by his shape and co-ordinates.
This problem is only when both draw simultaneously.
any idea guys?

Now, I am getting this error:
Login failed for user ''. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.
I have to install windows service using Visual Studio. Target location for the install is handled by “DefaultLocation” property in Visual Studio setup project. I had used [AppDataFolder] tag to install the application. As the result, it has been installed in “C:\Users[username]\AppData*Roaming*” folder. I can not figure out how to modify “DefaultLocation” property in such a way that application will be installed in C:\Users[username]\AppData*Local* folder. Any idea how to accomplish that?
Hi,
Just moved a symfony project from local (win) to server (linux), and the icons in the web debug toolbar have disappeared. Only the image alts remain so I guess it's a path issue with the images. Basically, I see "Time 300ms" instead of "[icon] 300ms" for each of the items.
I'm a little worried that some other paths aren't broken as well that are going to be a pain to find.
Has anyone had/resolved this issue?
Thank you.
Accidentally I have created file "-" (just a minus) in a directory and commited it.
I have to delete it because its causing error on other machines:
svn: Can't convert string from 'UTF-8' to native encoding:
svn: ?\226?\128?\147
I can remove it from local directory using "rm -i *" or with python "os.remove('\xe2\x80\x93')" but those methods do not work with "svn rm".
How to delete such file from svn repository?
Hi,
when running a Java application as service with the user 'LocalService', the temp directory ("java.io.tmpdir") points to 'c:/windows/temp' (for example).
Running a Java application normally gives 'c:/documents and settings/user/local settings/temp' instead.
How can I determine the user independent temp folder 'c:/windows/temp' when my application runs normally?
Thanks and greetings,
GHad
