  • How to rip specific data from an HTML file?

    Hi, so I have multiple HTML files which I need to get some praticular data from, I mean theres a bunch of non relative information in this HTML files, but I need just lets say things that are between the <div class="myInfo"> and </div>, after getting this information I want to handle it in my own PHP page, so for example I can insert this data into some variables. Is it even possible using PHP only? (Forgive me for my English mistakes)

  • Watir question regarding select_list and reloading

    I have a drop down with multiple options. Whenever you choose an option, the page reloads with data specific with that option. Currently I'm using select.list(:name, strg).set(value) and it does that part just fine, but it does not reload the page with the specific data. Anyone know how to help. When i watch it in action, it doesn't select the option either, but my logs show that it does.Thanks.

How can I configure Devise to store authentication info elsewhere? Worst case scenario, if I just have to hack into it, is there a generator to just port everything over to the app?     In C, it is considered bad practice to call strlen like this: for ( i = 0; strlen ( str ) != foo; i++ ) { // stuff } The reason, of course, is that it is inefficient since it "counts" the characters in a string multiple times. However, in Python, I see code like this quite often: for i in range ( 0, len ( list ) ): # stuff Is this bad practice? Should I store the result of len() in a variable and use that?
