    I have newly installed machine on which i have installed the IIS. On each of the sites I am installing requests are not reaching the site pages. However, if I send a request with the path of a HTML/image file explicitly the resource is accessible. Also, I do not get the "Create Virtual Directory" option in IIS. I only have the option to create a web site. What went wrong?

    In emacs, I create a file by visiting it with C-x C-f. Let's say I'd like to create /home/myself/new_directory/file.txt. If new_directory does not exist yet, is there a way to have it get created during the creation of file.txt without any extra steps? (I'm thinking of something like using the -p flag to mkdir in Linux.) I feel like there's a different keystroke instead of C-x C-f that can do this, but I can't remember what it is.

    I'm getting an error running the following Transact-SQL command: CREATE UNIQUE NONCLUSTERED INDEX IX_TopicShortName ON DimMeasureTopic(TopicShortName) The error is: Msg 1505, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 The CREATE UNIQUE INDEX statement terminated because a duplicate key was found for the object name 'dbo.DimMeasureTopic' and the index name 'IX_TopicShortName'. The duplicate key value is (). When I run SELECT * FROM sys.indexes WHERE name = 'IX_TopicShortName' or SELECT * FROM sys.indexes WHERE object_id = OBJECT_ID(N'[dbo].[DimMeasureTopic]') the IX_TopicShortName index does not display. So there doesn't appear to be a duplicate. I have the same schema in another database and can create the index without issues there. Any ideas why it won't create here?

Also since the WinIOError has SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES, I am thinking this has something to do with a "new way" security is handled in Windows 7. I tried to browse to the "Program Files" folder, under which the log folder and file were to be created. I can create the folder by hand, but when i try to create the file, I get the similar "Access Denied" exception.

    Usually I create a new user, then set the home folder, logon script, etc... Is it possible in Active Directory when I create a new AD user object, that it goes out to my share drive and automatically creates a folder for them (naming it their username), and then assigns that folder as their home drive? This code creates index but in F database: sQuery = "CREATE INDEX IF NOT EXISTS [INDID] ON [PANEL]([ID] ASC);"; I tried to add the name qualifier before table name like this: sQuery = "CREATE INDEX IF NOT EXISTS [INDID] ON [M.PANEL]([ID] ASC);"; but SQLite returns with message that column main.M.PANEL does not exist. What can I do?
