  • Deploying EAR file in Sun App Server having problem with proxy server setttings

    - by Nick Long
    When I am deploying certain vendor EAR file to Sun App Server, I encountered a connection timeout errror. I thought the reason might be proxy settings need to be defined so I actually defined the following -Dhttp.proxyHost=hostname -Dhttp.proxyPassword=password -Dhttp.proxyPort=8080 -Dhttp.proxyUser=username After setting these and restart domain then redeploy I encountered 407 error. Anyone have any idea what could be the issue here?

  • Delete last line in txt file

    - by user3658127
    I wrote a foreach loop for my datagridview to write all rows to txt file. I have a problem as it adds 2 empty lines at the end, as 1 row is full of empty cells after adding/reading to datagrid view. Is there any way to omit the last line or delete it in txt? foreach (DataGridViewRow item in this.DB.Rows) { foreach (DataGridViewCell item2 in item.Cells) { if(item2.Value != null) filewrite.Write(item2.Value.ToString() + " "); } filewrite.WriteLine(""); }

  • Creating an HTML file by combining multiple PHP files via the command line?

    - by FishOrDie
    Is it possible to combine multiple PHP files via the command line and create an HTML file? For example, this will save the rendered version of a single PHP file as HTML: php /path/to/my/file/filename.php > /path/to/my/file/test.html I need it to combine multiple files, but I can't seem to get it it to work. Ideally, it would be something like this: php /path/to/my/file/filename.php + /path/to/my/file/filename2.php + /path/to/my/file/filename3.php > /path/to/my/file/test.html Is this possible? If so, how?

  • JQuery - Pass variables to PHP script via AJAX call and then display file

    - by hfidgen
    Hiya, I'm trying to generate Outlook event files for my events, doing so on the fly as and when someone requests it by pressing a link on the page. Here's what i've got so far, but I can't find out how to get the browser to download the content which is returned. I know how I could do this if I sent everything via _GET, but I'd prefer to do it via _POST, hence I'm going down this route.. Any thoughts? Thanks! HTML / Javascript <script> $(function() { $(".button").click(function() { // validate and process form // first hide any error messages var start = $("input#start").val(); var end = $("input#end").val(); var dataString = 'start='+ start + '&end=' + end; $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "/calendar.php", data: dataString, success: function(data) { //Need to return the file contents somehow! } }); return false; }); }); </script> <form name="calendar" method="post" action=""> <input type="hidden" name="start" id="start" value="<?php echo $start; ?>" /> <input type="hidden" name="end" id="end" value="<?php echo $end; ?>" /> <input type="submit" name="submit" class="button" id="submit_btn" value="Outlook" /> </fieldset> </form> PHP File <?php if (isset($_POST['start'])) { $start = $_POST['start']; $end = $_POST['end']; $c = header("Content-Type: text/Calendar"); $c .= header("Content-Disposition: inline; filename=calendar.ics"); $c .= "BEGIN:VCALENDAR\n"; $c .= "VERSION:2.0\n"; $c .= "PRODID:-//xxxyyyy//NONSGML //EN\n"; $c .= "METHOD:REQUEST\n"; // requied by Outlook $c .= "BEGIN:VEVENT\n"; $c .= "UID:". $start . $end ."-" .   • MySQL upload CSV file as new table

    - by Brian
    I frequently upload CSV files to a MySQL db. It is very convenient to use LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE to upload the data, but I can't use this to create the table itself. As of now, the best method I have is to use PHP to get the field titles from the first row of the file and then put together a CREATE table query. Is there a more convenient way to do this?

  • curl_multi_exec stops if one url is 404, how can I change that?

    - by Rob
    Currently, my cURL multi exec stops if one url it connects to doesn't work, so a few questions: 1: Why does it stop? That doesn't make sense to me. 2: How can I make it continue? EDIT: Here is my code: $SQL = mysql_query("SELECT url FROM shells") ; $mh = curl_multi_init(); $handles = array(); while($resultSet = mysql_fetch_array($SQL)){ //load the urls and send GET data $ch = curl_init($resultSet['url'] . $fullcurl); //Only load it for two seconds (Long enough to send the data) curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_TIMEOUT, 5); curl_multi_add_handle($mh, $ch); $handles[] = $ch; } // Create a status variable so we know when exec is done. $running = null; //execute the handles do { // Call exec. This call is non-blocking, meaning it works in the background. curl_multi_exec($mh,$running); // Sleep while it's executing. You could do other work here, if you have any. sleep(2); // Keep going until it's done. } while ($running > 0); // For loop to remove (close) the regular handles. foreach($handles as $ch) { // Remove the current array handle. curl_multi_remove_handle($mh, $ch); } // Close the multi handle curl_multi_close($mh);

I would like to know the resolution of such an eps file. How do I proceed? Is the eps thus created has a fixed resolution? Thanks a lot

  • Generating an Excel file in ASP.NET

    - by Dan Coates
    I am about to add a section to an ASP.NET app (VB.NET codebehind) that will allow a user to get data returned to them as an Excel file, which I will generate based on database data. While there are several ways of doing this, each has its own drawbacks. How would you return the data? I'm looking for something that's as clean and straightforward as possible.
